I find it strange that the older games had more unique enemies to fight and some even required other drones to operate way more efficiently

hell I remember them all using different guns, even the same drone types had variation in attire and weaponry. in gears 1 and 2 they seem more dangerous and intelligent to me while in the 3rd there more or less push overs they said more stuff, shot at where you were instead of knowing where you were, etc etc. been playing these games for 12 or so years, like fallout new vegas I'll keep going back

@@biggumsliftsv1376 remember that gears 3 on a timeline is a long time from the sinking of jacinto, they would be fatigued and overall very exhausted more than crazed, plus thats the savage locust more since they broke off, and took refuge in the deadlands, they had time to rest and put up more of a fight

Locust spotter and miner are heavily underrated, ive only seen miner used once in multiplayer and never have seen spotter

The spotter and miner are in ultimate edition and the miner is also in gears 3. However there was a golden miner skin in gears 3 which was very cool.

Kinda wack how the devs made so many locust armors and then they have the exact same hp. The shirtless helmetless guy dies from the same amount of fire as the palace guard with a huge head guard and collar looking thing. Then raam with almost the same armor and no helmet tanked like 10 longshots and scorge wearing barely anything tanked endless lancer fire. Would have been cooler if the palace guards for example actually had more hp, kinda like the helmet swarm grenadiers in 5

Gears 2 had the best looking locust, even tho the savage locust also hold a close place in my heart, i enjoyed using flame locust and Theron guards in multiplayer, or kantus.

Myrrah had badass armor in gears 3. Her helmet in gears 3 is similar to a brute captain's helmet from halo 3 and halo 3 odst. She should come back in gears 6, even though she's dead. Maybe the coalition can make that happen.

They are a consequence of human greed them attempting to wipe out. Humanity is not a moral wrong if anything it is a morally correct option because we are literally at fault for their entire existence and they know damn well we would wipe them out given the chance

there armor to me seems to value mobility apposed to raw protection. another thought some grub helmets have no openings for sight, the grubs without visitors seem to me to be specialized. We see similar things and supernatural concepts in the real world. They probably don't need to see to see. Dad was in Iraq, said under fire he could perceive everything around him, below, above, behind, beside and of course the front. He drives fast, hes never crashed with me in the car or truck, he attributes this to being able to see around him in circumstantial situations. Those grubs probably do a similar thing, people see them as dumb and savage instead of as the knowledgeable and skillful beings they are. They have a highly developed religious system, and thus a spiritual one, like us they'd have their Buddha's, Jesus's, Prophets etc, think of people like Wim Hoff, men who have developed a spiritual tool kit far surpassing anything around them. Kinda like going into a trances, the things my father and many other men can do and perceive, seeing beyond yourself and into yourself, playing video games in your head far better than anything man can physically produce. shit like that for me I rarely need and lesser want light in the dark, I dont need or want perfect visibility, doing this by feel. I'm a hobbyists, wood and metal worker, I can make things in the dark by feel, can move in the bush without light unlike my friends, its all feel these grubs dont need to see, they see from their heads and feel the rest for beings born and raised in dark hostile environments both are critical, nobody has thought the reason they go sleeveless is because those black blotches they have on their arms and shoulders are sensory organs. probably why Grenadiers go shirtless, to perceive more, they dont wear goggles or helmets like the other grubs besides the fire ones. and the greener (green as in inexperienced) Grenadiers wearing armor. they haven't gotten the ropes yet, not to mention they would, like any ability or skill have to hone it. Previously mentioned Wim Hoff, anyone can do what he does but hes put in the time, like the elites. they've been in the shit long enough. rant over lol, yall have a good day
