From a fellow 348 owner: outstanding video and enjoy in good health! I’ve owned mine for 6 years now and it’s been surprisingly reasonable on the wallet. It’s a relatively simple car which is what I love about it. Just pure, challenging, driver’s car.

Great cinematography and topic. It’s awesome that Heather’s father has the car of his dreams. Driving it must put a smile in his face and take him back to his childhood. Being a kid in the 80’s, I wanted a Ferrari 308 GTSi....along with a mustache and Aloha shirt.

Fantastic story, I'm in a similar place in life myself. Born in 87, the Testarossa, 360 modena and the 348 targa have always been a dream I never thought would actually be able to reach. It's brought me some comfort knowing I've shouldered the cost of a newer work truck during the highest inflationary time and it's really not far from the cost of one of these period classics when I dug a little deeper into actual cost of ownership. I'm thankful I've managed to hold down and enjoy two long time obsessions, an E89 Z4, and a 74 MGB, both roadsters and a few other things along the way. I've still got a porsche 944 and 917 on my list (even if I have to dress it up to pretend it's a gt3). But when the time is right, I look forward to the hunt for my own 348. Thanks for sharing!

Great job! I think all of us who love cars and/or bikes have that one vehicle we feel is unobtainable. You captured what it’s like to realize that dream. It’s all about telling the story and you nailed it with great cinematography, editing and voiceover by the owner.

Funny thing that rarely is a 348’s clock properly set. You can see it blinking all zeros. Mine blinked for 13 years as I attempted to set it several times over the years. Never could. I had the major service done last year at Ferrari of Vancouver. I noticed the clock was set as I drove away and thought “cool, finally”. Couple days later, all zeros again. It’s been a great car to own though and still exciting to take out. Great quality video. Love the overhead shots. That’s tricky to pull off smoothly.

Been watching you for a long while. Your skills as videographer, editor, and over all skill have progressed to a level you just don't get on KZbin. Ok, let me get this out there. Because I know some people may not like it because is not motorcycle related. But as a fan of good quality content and -if I'm allowed to quote Xander Cage here- anything fast enough to do something stupid in. This video was supreme, just a minute ago I was watching some videos for Top Gear and I got confused while watching this because I wasn't sure if it was something really from you or I was just still watching something from the BBC... And yes, you read that right, I truly believe this is at another level quality wise. Good enough to be compared to any big name network. Keep up the good work Chase... Those who really enjoy your content would never prefer quantity over quality 💪🏽

Great editing! Honestly, I'm more of a japanese-manual-hot hatch kind of a guy (that's why I love bikes so much), but I know my dad who owns a BMW Z3 would really enjoy this vid. The guy digs the look of the Z3 so much that he'd poured like $40k USD on the old thing - in total, I sorta get it, but not totally. Great vid nontheless

A 348 is obtainable but... A factory black 348 TS is something of an ultra rarity : maybe 80 of them in the world. Back then 95% of the owners would order their Ferrari red. Virtually all the 348 vids on KZbin show red cars. Very nice looking car there!
