If you're accused of your sister's murder, and someone asks you on record, how you feel about that, your answer should be *"I can't believe people think that way. I loved her I would never do it."* And not *"Well look at the evidence, or lack thereof."* with a smile.

exactly. or even if they 'accidentally' killed her, why would they not bring the body with them? it was a small child and no one was aware of the situation until the note was found. Whether it was the dad or brother or whoever it was 100% someone in that house or the ransom not wouldn't have been written without hiding/taking the body

Literally what I was thinking about yesterday! OBVIOUSLY a ransom note gives the person at least like 10 hrs to collect the money. Obviously if it was real... the person would want the money and would give the ramseys’ time. She was also killed very late in the night, so obviously the “murderer” would know to wait for the ramseys’ to wake up. So fake, the parents know way more than they’re giving off.

Someone in the family definitely did it... I really think it was the brother ...idk why I just do! I think he was jealous of her and the parents just couldn't live with losing both their children. that's what I was thinking. but if it really was not the family. then either the person was suppose to just take her but then decided they rather just kill her. That's exactly what he did. He admitted he found the body at 11am when he disappeared for over an hour and was unacounted for to his oldest daughter, her boyfriend, detective Arnt and lead investigator Steven thomas. Then said NOTHING at the time of her missing. When detective Arnt told him to check the house, he then played like it was the first time he had found her. He pulled off the duct tape, brought her upstairs despite her having rigamortis. layer her in front of the tree and let everyone hug on her cry, hug, and lay across her body. Then knowing you knew she was in the cellar from 11am-2pm!?! They lawyered up 2hrs after her body was found. Patsy ramsey was never near that duct tape since it was pulled off by John in the basement. Well they found four fibers on that tape that are EXACT forensic matches to the checkered jacked Patsy had on Christmas night & the morning she found her missing. When the police helped Patsy leave home she wore a fur coat that matched the Beaver hairs found on JonBenét.

there’s so many signs that the family did this. the handwriting, no forced way into the house, the time between the strangulation and her being hit outside the head. and what about her being in her bedroom sleeping that night??? how did the person know where she was? if it wasn’t the direct family, it had to be someone very close to them.

I strongly believe this too..but the dna evidence of an unidentified man is questionable. I was thinking maybe one of those guests they had over found her earlier or maybe they(family) deliberately got someone else's dna and planted it. Why didn't anyone look into this? Who were all those people who were over?

There was a way in the house. There was a suitcase below the broken window in the basement is how the intruder left. A black shoe mark on the white wall in police photos showed some1 climbed out and reenforced this. The PI was 6 ft and he jumped into the basement through the broken window and crawled out, showing how easy it was for an intruder to get into the house.

"Top to bottom" doesn't mean start from top. It's like the saying "I cleaned the house from top to bottom." It's not that they started from the top and made their way to the bottom. It's that they cleaned every part, every nook and cranny. I'm not saying that's the case here, but I would take it as saying to make sure to look everywhere, even small places you wouldn't think of.

@@smf1416 I feel like he did know, though only he knows for sure whether or not he knew beforehand. I just meant that when the cop said to search from top to bottom that doesn't, necessarily, mean start at top. It's more so a figure of speech, as in search every single place and space, whether you believe she could be there or not. But yes, heading to the place where she was right away does seem unlikely, considering it was the basement, and judging by the pictures it doesn't seem like a place a young girl, or anyone for that matter, would just go to hang out.

You can tell a nine year old's handwriting versus an adult's. And you can tell the difference between two different writers, and ONE person trying and failing to mimic someone else's handwriting. Also there's the logical issue here; WHY? Under what circumstances would this ever happen? If she knew Jonbennet was dead, why would she trust her NINE YEAR OLD to start writing this all important ransom note - and if she didn't and she just caught him writing the note, why would she take it over and finish it?

My theory: Burke the brother had some how started to molested JohnBennet. The parents found out and tried to talk to Burke. They tried to explain that his behavior was wrong and what he was doing was also incest. This prompted Burke to go to the study and look up the word incest in the dictionary.(The police found this in the home with the corners creased) another possible theory on this is that Patsy suspected Burke or John of doing something and wanted to look up more information. I believe Burke had behavioral and social issues. He had also previously hit JB with a golf club and left a scar. I believe Burke was up eating pineapple at his chair and the dining room table. I believe JohnB wet the bed and someone cleaned her up...Most likely Patsy. I believe JohnB then joined Burke downstairs which is where she ate pineapple. Since only Patsy and Burke’s prints were found on the bowl I believe JohnB picked the pineapple with her fingers or was fed with the spoon by Patsy and/or Burke. I believe Burke wanted to stay up and play and likely so did JohnB. They then went to his train room and began playing. I believe Burke had a flashlight. I think he started to try to molest JohnB again and she wasn’t cooperating. I believe he pushed her and she landed on his train track pieces.. leaving the marks that some people believe was from a stunned gun. Then continued to try to touch her inappropriately. She kept fighting and he hit her in the head with the flash light. (The same flash light that authorities said was completely wiped down included the batteries) I believe John Bennett was knocked unconscious. Burke then went to bed and I assumed hoped she would wake up. Pasty woke up and found JohnB. With JohnB being so unresponsive she woke John up and the assigned she was dead. This is when they decided to strangle her to throw the cops off. They knew Burke was behind it. What they didn’t know at least I don’t think they did was that she was technically still alive which is why there is such a gap between the head trauma and choking. This would also explain why Patsys fibers were found in the chocking device and the duck tape. Johns t short fibers were also found in JohnB underwear which oddly was entirely too big for her.After they staged the scene Patsy grabbed a table as and pen (authorities confirmed both items were from the home) and began to attempt to write a ransom note. She scarped the first draft which was later found in the tray of the Ramsey home. She then asked for a amount similar to Johns Christmas bonus because it was the first amount she could think of. It’s funny that when people lie they still fall back in portions of the truth. I believe she laid them on the stairs on her way up, she did her makeup, threw on the previous days clothes and then they called 911 quickly to try to establish a quick response to avoid looking suspicious. This is why after being asked to search the home.. John started with the place where JohnB was. He knew where she was.. and I imagine was growing anxious with every minute the officer or someone else didn’t find her. In that same haste and panic is when he tried to get a flight out of Colorado (I believe this was even before her body was found)Who leaves the area when you have a missing or just murdered child. As I also understand it he got a lawyer that day as well. I believe he and Patsy made a pack that they wouldn’t lose both children and that as Christians they would go after their lost sheep so to speak. As Christians I also believe S.B.T.C victory stands for saved by the cross ! You can hear Patsy asking Jesus to help her and maybe that SBTC at the end was her way of comforting herself that although they were about to lie and cover a horrible crime that they still had victory in Jesus. I just feel like it’s a wink and nudge to her faith.

They were all frantic which is why she sounded to scared. She couldn't believe what happened. I think she cries in the interviews bc it was shown that she actually died from being choked and not hit in the head so it breaks her heart knowing she could've been alive. I do the exact same thing with my fingers, fidget a lot, and smile at basically everything. So it could also just be that too. there was also two little indents on her body that people initially thought would of been from a taser gun, but it was later discovered it fit EXACTLY to Burke's train tracks, as if he had maybe been poking her with his train tracks to maybe wake he up after hitting her with the torch. I 100% believe Burke hit her out of anger, and the parents found her laying on the ground possibly dead. With the police call, you can hear Burke in the background saying "what did you find" as if he left her there and ran off in fear and the parents found her later on. They staged it to protect their son and make it look like someone else did it, then purposely did all these things to contaminate the evidence.

Apparently he had been doing this for a while and I guess they just never dealt with it. The neighbors (the wife) who they stayed with after said she witnessed Burke hit her with a golf club, I think that was what it was. He apparently hit her extremely hard. He had been completely jealous of her. Burke is completely weird and his father continues to shield him.

Regarding the 911 call Burke is supposedly heard in the background saying "what did you find?" Did it ever occur to anyone that Burke was asleep, heard his mother on the phone saying her daughter is missing and that she had found a ran some note etc. And came out and said "what did you find?" Because honestly didn't know anything about her murder? You supposedly hear John Ramsey telling Burke "we're not speaking to you" in other words butt out you don't know what's going on be quiet we are on the phone. I think John had been molesting Jonbenet for a long time. I believe Patsy caught John with Jonbenet and Patsy tried to hit John with the flashlight and accidently hit Jonbenet. The cover up begins. The parents did it. Burke was 9 years old. He could not have written the ransom note. Too sophisticated wording for him. I seriously he would know anything about garrotes and how to tie one. As far as the train tracks wound theory, the parents could have used them while staging the scene. The tracks were right in the basement. All about the cover up just as the strangulation was part of the cover up. Patsy s fibers stuck to the duct tape on Jonbenets mouth. The intruder theory is just plain silly. If you kidnap somebody you go with ransom note already written, take the victim, and get out of the house. You stop to molest her, hang around writing practice notes and eventually write a ransom note as long as a novel with weird phrases, that small amount of money which happened to be the exact amount of John's bonus , etc. Then you leave without the body. Plus the note they call between 8 & 10 am with instructions for delivering the money. No call came and John and Patsy never sit by the phone waiting for the call nor do they ever say anything about the kidnappers call. Because they already knew she was dead. Wake up people the parents did it.
@chanellopezzzz
@chanellopezzzz 6 жыл бұрын
But if he accidentally had killed Jon Benet with his train tracks would the police have arrested him? I don’t think that they would because he was nine years old so he probably didn’t mean to kill her. This theory is pretty convincing if you think about it though. Because if she was killed during the night Burke would be a likely suspect if you think about it. Some kids wake up in the middle of the night and do things that they normally don’t do over the night. Maybe he woke her up and hit her. She fell unconcious and he got his parents to help him then he went to sleep while they were setting it up. That could explain why he was “asleep” when his mother came in the room because he was tired from waking up in the middle of the night.
@christmastiger
@christmastiger 6 жыл бұрын
I believe during the Dr Phil interview Burke casually mentioned going downstairs after everyone else was asleep, so he probably took a flashlight and was playing with his train tracks. Then at some point JB wets the bed and wakes up mom who makes them a snack and probably lets the kids play a bit while she goes to change the bedding, while downstairs JB tries to play with Burke's train set and he gets mad and hits her with his flashlight, not realizing how heavy it is, cracks her skull, runs to mom and dad who cover it up. I'm sure they sent him to bed right afterwards so he wouldn't mess anything up and they could go to work making the garrot and writing the ransom note.

Maybe in anger and frustration he pushed something heavy that fell on top of her...? My younger brother seemed and still seems very meek and nice to everyone who knows him. But hidden underneath, he's always had a major rage problem and violently took it out on me and only me when we were kids. He would snap and a few minutes later when he inflicted physical damage he would snap back to the meek and passive boy he usually was. My parents always made excuses for his behavior so it continued for years. Never an apology or remorse. He was never punished or received consequences or the attention and guidance from our parents to handle his emotions in another way rather than violence. That is very detrimental to a child's psychological development. It could have been nipped in the bud so to speak with responsible and conscientious parenting but unfortunately got worse and shaped the way he relates to me even to this day. It seems to me the Ramsey family might exist in a similar dysfunctional dynamic. Just a theory. He does remind me a little of my brother. But hey I could be totally wrong. I don't want to accuse him of having a part in something he didn't. I hope one day the truth comes out. RIP JonBenet 💐

However she was actually alive when they strangled her, and then she died from the strangulation. Although they thought she was already dead, she wasn’t actually dead until they tried to cover it up. In other words, had they not tried to cover it up by strangling her, she could have survived. Does this make sense or have I dug myself deeper? lmao

joycloud that's just it, everyone reacts to severe trauma differently. I didn't know my birth mother past me being 4 years of age, and her and my dad left me at a neighbor's house and never came back.Well, 41 years later I get a knock at the door and it's my aunt who I never met in person until that day, she was my mom's sister and she handed me a box and said " I brought your mom home to you" she had died and her ashes were in the wooden box. I started laughing uncontrollably and felt anger inside of me. About 4 months went by and I felt nothing for her, but around the 5 month mark I grieved so much for the woman who gave birth to me and I forgave her, because I did not know her reasons for abandoning me like she did, and I still cry for my mama a lot. The twist to this story is that the woman who adopted me was a highly respected nurse in our town, and she had told my birth mother that if she didn't leave town and let her have me, she would have my mom put in jail and she would never get out. My Aunt revealed all this to me and revealed that my birth mom was only turning 14 when she had me. So, I suppose my birth mom was legitimately scared that the nurse she trusted to guide her would have her put away forever.

Someone else proposed that the parents were sex trafficking the kids and jonbenet was harmed by a John, so the parents had to cover up, so they didn’t get in trouble too. I think this makes a lot more sense than the brother did it theory, because it explains the sexual abuse and unknown dna, which the other theory disregards.

Jon Bonet woke up cuz she wet the bed went downstairs saw the pineapple took a piece. Told her mom she wet her bed! Mom flipped out because she was a perfectionist and hated that Jon Benet did that. She hit her a little too hard and knocked her out thinking she was dead. Brother had been molesting her. Dad called his cop friend first they staged her death while mom wrote the ransom note so they can act dumb and claim she was taken. But dumb police cdnt find the body. So dad went and got it. Evidence shows Patsy only but she could have had help. There is 6 different unknown DNA profiles on JonBenét body, 4 fibers UNDER the duct tape on her mouth are EXACT match to the checkered sweater Patsy wore that night/next morning, The ransom note was a EXACT 100% forensic linguistic match based on the FBI, John Ramseys shirt (worn Christmas night) fibers were covering her entire vaginal region & vaginal abrasions, John Ramsey ADMITTED to finding the body @11am but said nothing until 2pm then acted like it was the first time he had found her and was yelling for an ambulance, there are 4 unidentifiable feet print in the wine cellar not JUST the HiTec boot(who prob. Belonged to a cop along with the flash light in botched crime scene pictures), The Nylon cord on JonBenét neck was a forensic match to the purchased nylon cord Patsy purchased Dec 2, 1996 on her credit card statement to McGuckin's Hardware in Boulder, Neighbors hearing screams at midnight, Patsy signs her cards PPRBJS & addressed friends by their inital - only to have her bible to The passages starting with SBTC on her nightstand the night of the murder - ONLY time passages start that order anywhere else in the bible, lying burke was asleep, the coffee table book was folding to a passage explaining incest, the size 12 panties she was wearing and missing remaining packs of bloomies only to reappear a years later with the ramseys, duct tape on JonBenét was a exact forensic match to the duct tape on the back of JonBenét picture in her room ALSO purchased at McGuckins, I could keep going. DESPITE the botched crime scene the circumstantial evidence remains. SHE tried to stage the scene but you can't change the crime and it's tale tale signs. Patsy killed JonBenét. The evidence says so. They lawyered up 2hrs after the body was found. They had enough Money they were protected enough and the DA'S office was dumb enough they let the Ramseys dictate how the investigation was handled. Over a year into the case and they still never gave formal statements or the clothes they were wearing that night. GUILTY. The DA Hunter is the exact one who should be blamed for this not going to trial.

What I don't get about the brother theory is that, even if Burke lashed out and hit JonBenét in the head with the flashlight and accidentally knocked her out, wouldn't she still have a pulse? How could have Patsy and John mistaken her for dead and then try to cover it up by strangulation and kiddnapping, killing her in the process? Did they not check her pulse or her breathing? I don't get it.

My theory: Brother was molesting sister and bribed/lured her into the basement with pineapple and milk to keep her quiet, she said she was gonna tell parents on him, brother hit her with blunt object and found duct tape to keep her quiet. she still squealed through the tape and brother proceeded to strangle her. JonBenet died. Parents found her and made a pact right there and then that they had already lost one kid and weren't ready to lose two AND ruin their public reputation by being the incestuous + sororicide family. Mom scribbled bullshit ransom note and staged 911 call. Brother is weird as fuck. All these ghosts sent the mom to an early grave.

DNA was so new in 1996 & even the 2008 tests that "exonerated" the fam were allegedly only done using 3 markers instead of 13-16. I really think they should untie the garrote & do a DNA test on that to see who tied it. This case is so sad. With all of the hoopla going on for nearly 20yrs it's almost as if everyone forgot about JUSTICE FOR JONBENET :( . Even her dad was making it about him on Dr. Phil.

+Vega Crux The problem with that argument against it is that the rope itself - not the paintbrush handle, which came from upstairs- could not be sourced from within the home and all the members of the family denied it belonged to them. Any DNA from a section of rope that was not exposed to touch DNA - that means the tied section - is admissible. If it belongs to a member of the family, it would be a 'smoking gun'.

My Theory: Jonbenét was sexually assaulted at the Christmas party, the DNA under her fingernails were from her clawing at the person who was assaulting her. Some time during the night when everyone was home, JonBenét or Burke was eating pineapple and they had an argument which led Burke to hit her in the head with a flashlight and knock her out and the hit was nearly hard enough to break her skull. The mother panicked and did not want to lose both children so they covered up the whole thing by making it look like a kidnapping. JonBenét was still alive but unconscious but mother strangled her to set up more clues, which actually killed her. Then she sat down and wrote the note to set up even more clues, she tried a style of writing but put less effort into it as she kept writing the note. She then called the police and acted frantic and first SPECIFICALLY SAID “we have a kidnapping” instead of “my daughter was kidnapped.” John and Burke were the two other voices in the background of the call. The parents invited friends and family to “help look for her” to mess with the crime scene. The crime scene and evidence was destroyed. When you have a crime scene you leave everything where it is, you do not touch ANYTHING. If they did that then this case could have been solved or partially solved but the Ramseys did not want that to happen because they know that they did it.

I agree with most of this, but I don't think John was in on it. I think he was genuinely distraught & believed his daughter had been kidnapped. I think Burke hit his sister in the head, Patsy finished her off then staged the scene to cover for her son. That kid still creeps me out, he shows no emotion when he talks about his sister, so you know what, it's quite possible he could have strangled her too & all his mother did was stage the scene to protect her son. I don't think we'll ever know what really happened though. Someone out there killed that little girl & they're still walking free.
