ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਢਾਡੀਆਂ-ਕਵੀਸ਼ਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਵੱਧ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਨਾਮ ਮਾਤਰ। ਪਰ ਹਾਲੀਆਂ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੱਸਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਵੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਕਲਾ ਦਾ ਘੱਟ। ਇਸ ਪੀੜਤ ਮਾਨਸਿਕਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ

Yes this negative attitude is very true. I have also seen this with the June military attack on Sri Harimandar Sahib. People will say that the military killed scores of people that it was a massacre etc… But many will no go into detail of the absolutely brilliant defences built inside that humiliated the military. That military struggled for a staggering 10-days.
