Normal mode crota was only level 32. Hard mode was 33 and the max level you could get was 32. so on hard mode, everything was a level above you even if you were max. And that was the equivalent of like 10-15 levels in todays power structure

Solo crota was actually fun, like a solo dungeon, I manage to solo flawless him back in 2015 I wish I had recorded it, but I got the flawless raider achievement for it and I’ll forever be proud of that achievement

Man, I remember soloing Crota because I had the Flawless Raid trophy in PS4 as my personal goal. I did that thing solo so many times (basically farmed the Raid) that I was able to do that in my second try using my Titan! Huge kudos to the legend it self for the different strategies ❤

I spammed the solo video when it initially released and quickly became a meme in my friend group for soloing Crota on my hunter so early. At the time I hadn't seen a solo hunter, so for me, being able to accomplish that was HUGE. I won't forget that event in my life, as it changed my relationship with gaming and shaped the future I've been living in for the last decade.

Crota's End and Kingfall being the same raid wouldve been INSANE, easily one of the best raids we wouldve had to date. Wouldve made Bungie have to "overdeliver" like that more often in the future tho which we know they dont like that.....

nowadays, thanks to a massive bug in d1, its possible to solo flawless crota, which i did a year or two ago. while im of course not the first, probably closer to the last, it was incredibly fun and i highly recommend people to solo or even solo flawless crota's end, either on age of triumph d1 or legacy d1 (xbox 360 or ps3) because it is genuinely a blast to do

Running solo Crota was one of my favourite things in D1. It was one of the things I’d like to do when I got bored of running other activities. I’m glad it can still be done, but being restricted to just Warlock (which I main) now is kind of a buzzkill. Hope we’ll be able to do it again in D2!
