wish I had seen this video before starting with Keto Diet, suffering from a touch of irregularity and hoping the Vagus nerve exercises or stimulus can correct that issue. Only 10 days in, so at least I know what the cause is and can adjust! Thanks!

Is it working?
@mommyevolve13783 жыл бұрын
Yes. Carbs are terrible. Deep breathing keeps me sane! Acupressure is everything. Long walks are my jam. Cold water though- I'm working on it. Lol
@traceywilcox31083 жыл бұрын
@@shivastonestrange7121 it worked for me, went down 2 dress sizes by dropping the carbs and breakfast at 12. Of course you need to eat healthily. There are no essential carbohydrates that I know of, nor do they contain any nutrients. ;)

Very interesting! I feel intuitively, my Vagus nerve is very important in most of my symptoms. Thank you for this clip. However, I can't do some of the 7 points. Intermittent fasting, long walk, can't do floor yoga, coz I can't sit down n get up, or bend n go down on my knees. I have diabetes 2. I have always had Mediterranean diet. Don't smoke or drink. But I have lots of pain in the areas that Vagus nerve passes. I can't even sit for an hour on a chair, as I want to get up, the back of my upper leg hurts so bad, I can't walk for a minute, until it calms down. I'm in NZ, we don't have specialized expertise in the health system, we are short of medical staff n doctors. Pls tell me, how else I can help my body n Vagus nerve. By the way, I am allergic to antibiotics, penicillin, painkillers, statin, metformin, n most pharmaceutical drugs. I only take Jardiance for diabetes 2, n many natural meds / supplements. Thanks again. Neli

Watch Stop chasing pain videos by Dr Perry Nickelston. He has a passion to help others open up their lymphatic system doing minimum self massages. Also Dr Perry shows how to reset your vagus nerve. There’s are tons of videos on KZbin that shows self reset of the vagus nerve you can do on your own.

Hi Neli, maybe you could try gentler yoga styles that don’t require you to get onto the floor. Talk to an experienced yoga teacher. There are so many different variations. They can provide you with a practice that suits your body. I also recommend breathing exercises (pranayama). They are very easy to learn and then do them on your own. And they have e the most beautiful effect on your nervous system and whole body. It provides all your cells with oxygen and energy. If you dan‘t go on a long walk, go on a short one. It is important to be outside, have contact with nature, the sun, ground yourself. And I’d also recommend mediation and EFT tapping (just google it, it works wonders). Also look for alternative healing techniques. NZ has such a rich culture heritage, there might be so much/ more than conventional medicine. All the best! I once was in a similar place and I know you can reclaim your health back. We‘re so much more powerful than we think. ❤

THAT WOULD BE ABSOLUTE TORTURE FOR ME I WILL TRY TAPPING WHICH DOES WORK I WILL USE IT ON THE VEGAS NERVE TO STIMULATE IT NO NEED TO TORTURE ONES SELF I HAVE ALWAYS DONE INTERMITTENT FASTING - BREAKFAST AND NOTHING UNTIL DINNER AND NOTHING UNTIL BREAKFAST AGAIN -- WITH CFS -- DOES NOT CAUSE THE LOSS OF WEIGHT

the right translation is not vague it's wandering. 'vague' in itself is a metaphorical translation into medieval languages taken from Latin. But 'vagus' in 'vagus nerve' stems from the original meaning Wandering. From the pov of medicine there is nothing vague about it. It is just all over the place!

Actually, Wim Hof presents irrefutable scientific data on studies supporting the use of cold water immersion and breathwork to improve nervous system function and cellular activity. Forest bathing also has scientific studies behind it and has been used for overall wellness in Japan foe decades.

What a load! The only thing he mentioned that has any potential for weight loss is Intermittent Fasting. The rest? C’mon!
@catherineshaw11223 жыл бұрын
IF just threw my hormones into chaos, resulted in weight gain, anxiety, insomnia. That's not a panacea for all. On the other hand, hot and cold showers are well documented as improving nervous system function and improving insulin resistance. Breath work is also well documented to offer those same benefits. See the data shared by Wim Hof. I don't use his system, it's just a knockoff of yogic techniques, but the data he presents on cold water and breathwork is irrefutable. Forest bathing also has scientific data behind it, it lowers cortisol and that's been tested and documented.

He’s saying anything that stimulates the vagus nerve will in turn cause weight loss because your body is working properly. Then he list what stimulates the nerve. It’s quite fascinating but I do understand if you’re suffering from a problem with the vagus nerve you also suffer from lack of interest, focus and energy. Hope this helped. 😊
