@@UmmuSalma-r6h well all it is basically is a regular tomato sauce/marinara which you cook with a shot of vodka before you add tomatoes so you’ll let it reduce and cook out any alcohol then do it just like any other regular sauce but at the end you add heavy cream so it’s like a creamy marinara if you will with a taste the vodka gives from being cooked in it (very subtle) it doesn’t taste like vodka but try it I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love it 😊

At some point when somebody changes the recipe a lot, it should be called something else. One website had hummus, they called it, but it was pureed beets instead of chick peas. Not hummus! Chunky vodka sauce, pesto & sesame seeds change this from pizza to something different.

I had a pizza place back in the 80s. We hand tossed all our pies. That pie was a thing of beauty, I must say. I must also say I wouldn't want to be the one who let it slip off the "peel" and accidentally dropped it. It does happen in a super busy place. You can swap or remake a large pepperoni... Not that or if you drop a large deep dish...On a busy Friday night......How I miss the restaurant business.
