Filling the crack with gold is called kintsugi, loving the crack without filling it in is wabi sabi, and both are wonderful.

Great outlook. I'm right into wabi sabi housekeeping and lawn maintenance. People live with dirt floors. Bees like my wildfower meadow. More time to play music!

This talk was wonderful!! Arielle weaved humor with deep, poignant insights that resonated deeply with my heart. Her approach to aging isn't just about the inevitable march of time, but rather a celebration of life's sweet, accumulated wisdom. She painted aging not as a thing to fear, but as a badge of honor. This talk was a beautiful reminder that aging is not merely surviving years, but thriving with grace and wisdom. It's a must-watch for anyone looking to embrace their years with joy and courage!! I LOVED it!

Who says you HAVE to slow down?! I'm almost 77. I work as a substitute in an elementary school, and 2 days a week (18 hours) I work at a daycare. I also tutor online and am starting my own Confident Parenting coaching business. I have no intention of slowing down!! I intend to live my life fully, doing what brings me joy, until the day I keel over!!

Since I am no longer a "Spring Chicken", I call myself "The Autumn Chicken", another way of being a "Queenager". I've survived with my head on my neck and gained some wisdom about the workings of the "barnyard" (the world) , and I am able and willing to share it. Soon, I shall do that on my own KZbin channel. Keep a lookout for it! 🐔
