This song is absolutely amazingly done by the wallflowers. I lost my good friend LT Mike P Murphy during op red wings . (Lone survivor ) and every time I hear this song it makes me think of him and his teammates Axe , Dietz , Murph . Rest easy to all the warriors out there you are hero’s . Never forgotten .!

You know It says something when you like a cover better than the original! I remember watching this movie in the movie theater when I was little with my dad and my younger brother, I was a big Godzilla 🐲 fan... I recently re-watched it on netflix and it even brought back the promo commercial memories when berger king was getting into promoting the movie 🎥 😄 Anyway, I miss the countdown waiting to hear my favorite music! We need to bring the countdown back man! Remember and never forget: WE CAN BE HEROES, JUST FOR ONE DAY!

The Wallflowers performs in the music video "Heroes" from the original motion picture soundtrack for the film Godzilla (1998) recorded for Epic Records. The music video features the band performing the song in a darkened apartment room as the ground shakes periodically. A young girl walks the street despite the disaster.

When the replacement players of the Washington Sentinels left the stadium that day there was no ticker tape parade, no endorsement for sneakers, soda pop, or breakfast cereal. Just a locker to be cleaned out and a ride home to catch. But what they didn't know was their lives would be changed forever. Because they had been part of something great and greatness no matter how brief stays with a man. Every athlete dreams of a second chance, these men lived it.

I, I wish you could swim Like the dolphins, like dolphins can swim Though nothing, nothing will keep us together We can beat them, for ever and ever. We can be Heroes, just for one day. I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing, nothing will drive them away We can be Heroes, just for one day We can be us, just for one day I, I remember standing, by the wall And the guns, shot above our heads And we kissed, as though nothing could fall And the shame, was on the other side Oh we can beat them, for ever and ever Then we could be Heroes, just for one day We can be Heroes We can be Heroes We can be Heroes We can be Heroes Just for one day

I take amazing photos of spirits who have passed on. After my mother-in-laws funeral I was taking photos of family members gathered together. One of the photos showed a significant amount of "smoke" that wasn't really smoke. It was a message that she was present with the family. I passed my phone around for everyone to see. It was pretty nice.
