Majorkill and leutin are good 40k youtubers to learn more the lore, leutin does MASSIVE in depth videos that are like an hour each and majorkill does quick overview of lore bits in like 10-20 minute videos

Funny thing, throughout the entire game I was waiting for Titus to die in a cutscene and then be saddled as boring recruitbaby Leandros. From all the tropes at that time it was basically surefire that the cool vet dude is gonna die and you'll actually be playing mr recruitface. Needless to say I ended up being really surprised at the end.

Warhammer grabbed ahold of me in my mid 30s, for the last decade I've been a devout 40k Hobbyist. Built a couple armies 900 points of Ork my first army and I'm working on a more complete list of Necrons. Ive been patiently waiting for this game for awhile now, and I've kept my hand on the pulse of whats been going on with development. Playing as Capt. Titus of Ultra Marines, with a shitload of Cadiens holding back swarms of Nids.. Doesnt get ANY better than that for me. This new development team wanted to make Space Marine 2 and keep it as close to the original game as possible while still updating the visuals and the weight of the gameplay. The sound of the bolt pistol for one is AMAZING. That is something that can not be understated for true WH40k Fans we NEEEED that to be right. I am SUPER excited for this release!

Yes, it is. People are.... sick of a lot of other sci-fi franchises and what has been done to them recently. That and the real world has gotten dark enough that even some of the more dystopian IPs seem like a good dream now. There are piles of well-written lore, the people (and otherwise) are believable, and it just looks gorgeous

The thing about the Emperor is that sure, his is sitting on a throne for 10k years. But really, he is immortal and unkillable. The enemies of Humanity laugh and make jokes now, but the day the Emperor returns a true God, vastly more powerful than when he punched Horus out of existence, the Xenos, the herertics and the mutants will collectively poop themselves. Chaos is all edgy, but the Emperor is going to put the traitor primarchs over his knee and send them to their rooms right before he slaps the Chaos Gods into submission like dirty dogs with a newspaper.
