As dark as it sounds, they always find a light at the end. Dany has said it can represent the feelings of being choked and overwhelmed by circumstances and can apply to all of us at times. Don't make the mistake of thinking that their songs are autobiographical. They write passionately and cleverly with layers of meaning in every song, and are often quite dark. But offstage they are down to earth and grounded more than practically anyone in the music industry. And the nicest people you could ever meet.

Basically they are saying leave me alone and let me work through this. And is not about suicide. We all go through "something" at times and don't always want help until we're ready to talk about it. FYI: They played Choke 26x to get all the camera shots. Alejandra was suffering from vertigo from extensive oral surgery procedure a short time prior to making this video. Paulina couldn't raise her arms to wash her hair afterwards. The water crew visited until 5:30 the following morning.

I just saw them live for th first time last Thursday and and they played just as hard for this small venue of 400-500ppl as they do when you see them play for a stadium full of ppl. I love the comment about Dany attacking a song the way Pau attacks the drums. Another thing about the way they hook you in. I think their amazing vocal abilities have a lot to do with that. Lastly these ladies song writing abilities take a back seat to nobody. They are wise way beyond their years. ⚡⚡⚡

I think that this song, like several of their other songs, actually deals with emotional resilience. I believe they have said that it is about dealing with and coming to terms on your own with something that is weighing you down emotionally. However, like many of their songs, the lyrics are open to interpretation depending on the perspective of the listener. 👍😎

Interesting comment about Dany's singing attacking the listener and Pau attacking the drums. You're not the first to choose that verb. Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) used it, when describing The Warning, stating, "They are fierce, they are vicious, they attack an audience in a way that I haven't seen any young band do.. in.. years." Their musicianship is incredible, topped only by their exceptional songwriting. Loved the review! Looking forward to more!

As always there is room for interpretation, and sometimes listener interpretation doesn’t reflect the composers’ intended meaning. Of course there’s nothing wrong with anyone’s interpretation… but it sometimes is interesting to Google the intended meaning of the song, if it is important to the listener. Hey guys! Great review! The Warning has recently been releasing many live concert videos from their August 2022 Sold out shows at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX. These are high quality multicam, pro shot videos, with soundboard live audio! I would suggest: Disciple, Animosity, Evolve, Survive, Revenant, Error, Enter Sandman, and all the rest. hahaha They don't have a bad song and their Live performances are AMAZING! New Sub here

The single word titles (with one exception) is what they did for Error. The other albums don't follow that naming. They don't have a formula for writing; their songs vary tremendously. They do write very approachable music, but it stands up to repeated listening.

starting at #5:16 does anyone else get Lita Ford vibes over the next few seconds? i get so much deja vu when the camera rises and turns while Dany follows it looking up singing "droooown" making the O with her red lips... i've looked for days and days and days in old MVs and haven't been able to find it... i'm pretty sure it was a Lita Ford video on MTV as that was the first name that *slammed* into my mind when i saw that shot the very first time i saw this video... i can't get any closer in time than late '80s or early to mid '90s, though... They are very much a live band. The Teatro Metropolitan recordings are the gold standard -- second only to live in person, of course. They were spectacular in Boston.
