Of all eight thousand million persons currently residing on this planet, you are undoubtedly the MOST holy, wise and enlightened of them all, Sir! So obviously, you are VEGAN, since it would be extremely incongruous for a great sage such as yourself to be an animal-abusing criminal, correct? 😁

What you have written presupposes freedom of volition. ☝🏼 However, it is a demonstrable scientific fact that EVERY thought, action, and motion that has occurred in the phenomenal universe was entirely determined by every preceding action, all the way back to the “Big Bang” singularity event. 🤓

I say the same thing as this gentleman all the time: what else is there besides happiness? You may be bound by duty, but what is that duty worth if it doesn't bring you happiness? Duty may be hard, but satisfaction is the reward. Your children might be a nightmare, but does it not still give you happiness to foster them? Of course it does. To be happy is to be enlightened. But I will add this: I think that serenity is really the goal, as it's more sustainable than happiness.

Summing up: I want to say this because it's important & before I forget myself: where we are going wrong is *making mountains out of mole hills.* When we are calm & carefree we can easily see this. However we all make this mistake at some point in our lives, normally quite a lot, probably not realising just how much when we are complaining or focussing on one particular issue and blowing it out of proportion. The solution: zoom out, gain perspective & re-focus on just being *thankful* for being alive. You can't be upset, anxious, worried, sad or angry whilst you are practicing gratitude. There's the solution right there. So simple that we missed it. I practice Gratitude daily but sometimes my mind will get distracted, focussing on something that isn't even true! A worry, what if, or the worst is happening or I'm scared that 'this or that' will happen or my mind gets convinced that the irrational fear is true, when it's not. I must learn to *not identify or believe the monkey mind & just stay as Awareness,* (don't zoom in or get attatched to anything in the first place). 🙈👀 I also want to say this: *First Love Yourself (FLY).* My mistake, like many people especially women, is taking too much on & trying to do everything myself, not actually taking care of myself, but instead doing everything everybody else wants me to do. On the surface is presents itself as helping others (or a duty to work), but underneath it manifests itself as burn-out, exhaustion, stress, resentment, ill health & what is basically "people pleasing" & "codependency". *Learn when to let go* (when you can't help), as Rinpoche says (I remind myself too). In the West particularly, we are over-worked. This [knowledge] comes _from_ self *awareness & listening to our intuition (inherent wisdom)* The 3 aspects work together, they're not separate ❤🙏

Very educative. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.
