Fractions of pennies compared to the foreign westeRn corruption that usurped and siphoned the remainder of the trillions of dollars used for reconstruction. So, yeah, lying Karzai is finally honest first once and points that out here in this video, but cowardly didn’t mention those entities involved (Blackrock, Raytheon, multiple mercenary “private forces”, etc) since he’s part of the MIC, which he hopes one day he can be a part of again.

Everything the former PM is saying should be taken with a grain of salt. Let's not forget going back to the 2000's they had a name for him and his government, "Vice", which was to describe how corrupt they were. Despite NATO's issues, the primary reason the previous Afghan government failed was the disgraceful corruption up and down. There was nothing to fight for from a soldier's perspective.

"America abandon Afghanistans" that was never said, Afghans are fine with the withdrawal but the manner it was done was disgraceful, not the actual idea of withdrawing itself. Even many Americans and American politicians even Donald Trump who was the one who started this withdrawal spoke on how disgraceful it was. "They don’t have a spine." This is extremely rude and completely ignores how much suffering Afghans had to go through ever since the Cold War. We just wanted peace after 40 years of suffering and yet you as an American have the audacity to say we dont have a spine and start talking about how American soldiers died? What about the civillian afghans and afghan soldiers that died, american soldiers havent died for YEARS in Afghanistan until your sleepy joe handled the withdrawal so terribly that american soldiers died during the withdrawal and then proceed to blame it on Afghanistan. Go through 40 years of war and bombardment and foreign intervention from 2 separate superpowers as well as neighbouring countries and see what would you want. And we did a terrible and horrific injustice to the Afghanistan people who helped us. I fear we will never ever be able to help those you cared so much for Afghanistan they trusted us with their welfare. I pray for them and we should have gotten them and their families out first because we owed them for their sacrifice. And I suspect you are trying to intimate that you are Afghan and live in Afghanistan but I think you live somewhere else maybe even in America. I think Mr. Karzai wants to have some power in the Taliban-led govt as a sign of his past actions deleted from public memory. He and his brother, everyone knows, made millions of dollars at the cost of Afghans suffering at the hands of the US and the Taliban. One can replay some of his speeches and interviews showing uncompromising attitude towards Taliban. Now that when he lost the game, he blames others. Please sit at home now, enjoy your wealth, and let the Taliban make decisions in the interests of poor Afghans. One certainly wants the Taliban to be cognizant of a different world we live in. No country can afford to neglect education in today's knowledge economy. Peace can't be maintained through the barrel of gun for long. Hopelessness and helplessness ultimately pave the way for civil wars and disintegration of states.

Karzai's corruption and ineptitude was part of the problem. the real problem is that the Taliban has been deeply woven into Afghan society unlike al-Qaida. they are who they are and we can't change that. terrible culture but their culture

The Afghan people had a choice between sharia and secularism - they chose the former, and that is their decision. After 20 years of training and reconstruction efforts and over a trillion dollars, the moment the West withdrew the Taliban swept into Kabul literally without firing a shot. Now let them live with their Taliban, and may they be happy with the life they've chosen.

I literally burst out laughing at the tag line. The US pulled out of a losing battle, the Afghan Government ran like children. After 20 years of ''fighting the terrorists'' nothing ever came of it except a large enough presence of Taliban to take over Afghanistan. Karzai sits on a mountain of American Dollars and says, ''Shame on America'' LOL

Isn't it kind of a lame explanation to you that after 20 year's of "fighting terrorism" the afghan army just ran like cowards, while U.S. army planes start taking off with desperate people clinging onto wheels. Let's be honest, you can't be taken serious if you claim on the one hand these guy's were cowards, but on the other overlook ridiculous cowardice behavior from the guys you know they should've know better. Or do you not mind having double standards?

@@Aaronlcyrus nah, history tells us a different story. Americans united under fighting british rule. The equivalant of that would be afghans unite to fight the U.S. Obviously that didn't play out the same way, because of a much greater power difference. At the end of the day, extremists won because the U.S. ran from responsibility.

I don't live in Afghanistan for decades but i feel blaming Pakistan and using Pakistan as a escape goat has become the habit. Perhaps India doesn't want to see Pakistan and Afghanistan have good relationship too . There are too many players . Karzai and Ghani is also partly to blame. They did not want US to withdraw its forces and did not want to be serious about talking with Taliban.

@@aadilansari5997 Karzai and Ghani did not want American troops to leave Afghanistan ever. They wanted USA to have a permanent military base there. They and their accomplices had too much fun with free American dollar and security. They were against negotiations with Taliban. India was supporting anti-Taliban and anti-Pakistan forces too. Iran always had hand with Shia minorities. Russia was helping Taliban lately. So, too many foreign players and puppet governments with no majority support caused USA to just abandon the whole country. Finally USA realized that they were being cheated and fooled by these afghan puppets. No foreign country can help unless people of that country are united and find ways to get a long with each other and don't let others divide them.
