When the small crew went to Niagara Falls to film the scenes on the boat, through coincidence the parents of Brian Baumgartner (Kevin) were also visiting the falls. They were recruited to be extras, and can be seen directly behind Pam and Jim as Jim is handing the tickets to the ticket-taker.

There was also a planned scene that dwight was gonna get that horse and ride it off the waterfall or something crazy to that effect. Jenna and Angela discuss this in the office ladies podcast for this episode. It literally sounded like they were making it up lmao. They scrapped the horse stuff just shortly before filming! The cringe throughout this episode (especially during the dinner) always got to me, and it’s only become worse since I got married and met my wife’s massive but more, er, old fashioned family. My face hearts from cringing and laughing hand in hand, but the sweetness sprinkled throughout - especially that swoon worthy ending - make up for it. One of my favorite episodes of the series. Wish Chris and Pat were here for this one!

As cheesy as it is to thank y'all for the cheesy "your day will get better" I needed that. My daughter had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor and two ribs today and legitimately watching this video helped me take my mind off my worries while she was in the OR. We've watched every single one of these reactions while doing chemo and it's helped put a smile on my baby's face when she (and I) needed it most. I know that's heavy but I wanted to tell y'all because these are not JUST a reaction video to some of us. It means more than that. ♥ We love y'all.
