I loved the clip of Pam telling Jim why her dad is leaving her mom because you can see Marketa getting more emotional with each cut. Funny, but very sweet and sincere reaction. Been following you all since the beginning of the series, love seeing everyone enjoy this show as much as I have. All the best!

Because it was a Super Bowl episode, the network insisted the show include A-list guest stars. Showrunner Greg Daniels opposed this, thinking it would ruin the documentary nature of the show having A-Listers show up as random characters. The solution was the movie within the show: the network got their guest stars they could promote, and the show kept its authenticity. The show later abandoned their A-list rule completely.

Such a wholesome ending to the episode; Jim’s words to Pam’s dad, and Michael coming back and getting Stanley and everyone else to laugh. Even Michael’s growth in amending that Stanley perhaps should hold on to the medication (because obviously his jokes aren’t enough to save the man) is great.

One of the better moments for Michael. He comes back to the office after taking some time to himself and instead of being super self pitying, he decided to keep the roast train going instead, and imo has much funnier roasts than any of the other did for him.
