And did You actually notice He said "I just keep killing someone over & over again" instead of "keep killing People!" which means He was killing the same Person over & over again which is a common theme in serial killers, like the one who killed all the hitchhikers. He was killing His own Mother over & over again & it wasn't until He identified this that He was able to literally kill His Mother so He could stop killing representations of Her.

Seattle Gill he’s either a sociopath or a psychopath. He’s faking emotions very well, but when faced with evidence he showed no actual remorse. He was a sick man. Sociopaths/psychopaths are mentally ill, but they are in control of their actions and they know what they’re doing. I just want to know what triggered him to start killing. Also he contradicts himself by saying he felt bad for the killing/assaults and that’s why he called but he drowned his first victim and never called. The calls were most likely to just invoke fear and give him a sense of control and power. I think he was just a cold, pathological lying, sociopath.

x._amez_.x That doesn't make sense... if he didn't want to be found then he wouldn't have called in the first place. I think that he actually kind of regretted the fact that he had done something illegal.. so he outed himself - but he kept on killing because it was natural for him. He even said it- killing to him is like having lunch or dinner. He gets in the moment and does it.. then he questions himself.

I was listening to a podcast about this guy yesterday. The reason he would feel the need to call the police is because he was raised in an extremely religious family and was taught that all sin could be forgiven through confession and after that, you had a clean slate to go and sin again. That’s also why he always sounded “weepy” because he did feel genuine remorse after his killings and reporting the crime was his “confession” to clear his conscience. It’s also believed that when he would kill, he would enter some sort of dissociative state in his mind. It’s a really interesting case to be sure.
@hordesystem

That's so interesting! I've been searching the web, trying to find what he had. My best bet is DID or OSDD. So it's interesting to hear he might've been dissociating, affirming the suspected disorder

He had no remorse, he just called to freak out the police and the public and play games. You don't casually talk about crimes like that if you actually can't stand what you did. I disagree that it was psychosis because of how he lured the women into his car. He clearly put on a good show or being a trustworthy person. That takes awareness and intent. He's an organized killer. He knew what he was doing, and afterwards was sane enough to remove all physical evidence.

You know when you’re driving down the road and you think, “I could totally just run into that tree right now if I wanted” but you don’t because you obviously don’t wanna die, I think it could be like that for him, he could say to himself, “I could just kill this girl right now if I wanted” and then he realizes that that’s true and it kinda triggers him into this psychotic murderous state and he kills them. It would make sense because to me that he would feel remorseful because he acted on impulse and bad thoughts and then when he’s done it’s like that just switches off and he feels terrible. I think on his 4th killing he was starting to give into those feelings full time that’s why we was so confident with her and even parked near other houses, he didn’t think he would get caught, especially if he didn’t call the police this time, which is maybe why that fifth case came as a surprise. He’s a terrible person and I know for sure he had issues, I just wanted to give my thoughts. I feel so bad for these girls who lost their lives to some gross creep.

I think he's an opportunistic predator. A lot of serial killers try to blame police or the victims for their crime's. I don't believe a word out of his mouth had genuine remorse. And I wouldn't be surprised if he killed more 4 women. I think he was probably active for a while prior and got fed up with the police not working it out. So he started drawing attention to himself. The arrogance thinking that he could get away with shaking a tail, attacking someone, and thinking he could get away with calling for paramedics.... Yeah narcisstic all the way. And there's way too much premeditation for him to merely snap. He's a psychopath, they learn how to fake empathy. But you can see in his interview how much he minimises what he did.

I find it a little bit weird that all the comments on these videos are about Eleanor and her channel, rather than the cases she talks about. Really interesting case, to hear some of the killer’s thoughts and regrets.

Hi Eleanor! I live in Gainesville, Florida, and there is a super well known string of student murders that happened here on the University of Florida campus in 1990. The serial killer's name is Danny Rolling and I think it would be a good case for you to cover!! Love your videos!

I heard about this when I was eight. I had heard a phone call from him and I smashed my fake phone toy because I was scared he was going to call me. The phone call at 12:15 was the one I heard. I was scared of him coming after me.

I feel like he ACTUALLY felt remorseful when it was years later, maybe. The calls sound more like a character, but the confession in real life feels genuine. You can tell there's kind of...something going on? I mean, he's a murderer and his confession is casual, but I dunno. Something just feels genuine there Also 25:35 is really sad, tbh...Idk why edit a year later: Okay, after coming back to this comment, I’m here to say my opinion has changed but not drastically. I doubt he didn’t feel remorse at all, but it sounded like I was excusing his actions. I am not, I swear. It’s awful what he did.

I had always thought this but relistening to the audio makes me think he some what enjoyed the calls he made. He didn't sound as if he was loosing it he sounded as if it was a joke. Instead of hearing a nasally distraught man loosing his voice, he sounded as if he was holding in laughter. There was no sounds of sniffles or sobs just the voice you'd use if you were playing.

for the theory that he was never actually upset or crying isn’t a terrifying thought that he calls the police crying and stuff and then just hangs up the phone with a straight face and just walks away
