Good move changing the inner belt when you had the opportunity. They are so inaccessible under normal circumstances. You could have possibly saved yourself a big headache down the road at some point! Those longtubes sound so sweet at wot. 👌

You got the perfect blower for the setup you wanted. Nice 93 pump gas setup making good power with that 2.3 blower. Makes good low end torque.

You hear a lot of talk about what pulls more down low, the whipple or VMP, having the Gen3R with my last Cobra and now the 2.3 whipple its literally the same. Both made over 600 ft lbs of torque at 3,000 RPM's. I"m quite impressed with the 2.3

Great Video!. Did you have to take crank pulley off to replace inner serpentine belt? Or just the bridge? Need to replace mine during swap and was curious. Thanks T.

Mine didn’t have to come off but not positive about with the factory one

If you have the factory caged crank pulley, then it will have to be removed in order to access the inner belt. If it’s an aftermarket lower pulley, like mine was, then there’s no need.

Thanks! Was a good day with a few friends getting it done. So far I really like it, it’s surprised me power wise even with the additional mods I have for boost / power. I have a hard time hearing it whine but I think that’s mostly due to my O/R X pipe but that’s being resolved in the nearish future

Yea when I went from yhr bassani catback to the borla it was a little harder to hear the blower. I'm glad your liking it though! I had lots of fun with it. How would you compare this to the vmp blower you had?

@@loscar5oh I’m switching to stingers but with cats. The stingers just sound so good. I’m not a fan at all of no cats, some people like It but it’s too much rasp for me. I like the deeper tone and stingers paired with cats achieves that well. Both blowers are really close despite the size difference. I’m only 20 WHP below what my VMP was despite being bigger plus the final tune and proper fueling has yet to be done. Both have their ups and downs, the removable elbow on the vmp is great but not smashing the coolant crossover tube with the whipple is nice. Aesthetically I’ll always like the VMP more but in the end the power is going to be just about that same which wasn’t my intent to begin with but here we are lol

That argument was on my Facebook post crazy how people have comments about everything and have nothing good to see you put on that 2.3 Whipple. It’s too bad. I didn’t have somebody helping me put on My gen3r you don’t happen to know anybody with a really good deal on an RXT clutch and 26 input shaft

Check with American Muscle they sometimes have open box deals that’s where I bought my RXT from on my Torch Red one. Also in the fall Lethal performance has deals on a lot of parts
