That story doesn't add up. Get out of here. Pretty sure they kidnapped, molested, and killed her together, and probably did that to others, too. That confession was to protect the nurse.

It's so absurd. Crazy how some people in this comment section actually believe it.
@IJustFiguredThisOut Жыл бұрын
It's really not that farfetched at all. Pot is one of those drugs that can make complete strangers connect and hang out immediately. Plus you said it, she was on spring break, most teenagers want to have a good time, and there's a good chance she could have already been drinking, even if only a little, which as we all know diminishes logical thought. She would have had no idea this man's history and likely didn't automatically think he was going to rape and kill her, especially with the wife being there. And I highly doubt she was under the impression they were going to drive to a secluded swamp. I doubt she understood the potential danger she put herself in, most teenagers probably don't think about it. And she wasn't with her friends at that point, she was alone, and remember it was said they just got in an argument, which also could have made her not think clearly.
@Ash-sk7ip Жыл бұрын
I got myself into some sketchy situations as a teen including meeting up with a guy fresh out of jail who would sell me any drugs I wanted. @kittytheflcatmom9566 Жыл бұрын
Myrtle Beach is a scummy town. Went during college a couple times and will never go back there. If she was a smoker, I'm pretty sure she would've already had her own weed on her since she was on spring break. If she didn't, she left the hotel early enough that the bars were still open and she could go hang out with people her own age and score some weed there. Especially since it was spring break. I'm not buying it at all that she got in that car voluntarily with a couple so much older than her. They probably used Angel to trick her (since she was a woman) into getting her close enough to the car where he could grab her and abduct her. I'm glad he's finally locked up, but his story is bullshit. I think Angel is guilty too, but looks like she's gonna get away with it 🤬

The idea that a 50 year old man could just drive along at walking speed and have an attractive teenage girl rush over to say they like the smell of that weed and jump in the car to get high with them doesn't sound very believable at all. It would take considerable planning, manipulation and disarming for them to get Brittany into that car. I was on Spring break my senior year of high school in Myrtle Beach when she went missing. It was the week before college spring break, so it was empty. Only my group from TN, and their group there. We stayed at the Sea Dip. I called in a tip and offered photos, but it was in the infancy of social media, so they didn’t take them seriously. I’ll never forget when she went missing, it changed how I live my life. I just saw my mom doing the same thing Dawn had to do. She loves her baby so much ❤️🌻

ive lived in a college town for the better part of my life. i spent my teen years, 20's & on in it, & one thing i have always been shocked by is how young women & college girls behave SO recklessly when going out. of course being murdered isnt something anyone deserves, but there are things in life you should never do, like acting tough with a stranger, going places with people you dont know, being drunk in public wandering around. i think women are often oblivious to just how weak they are compared to even weak men, its scary. i raised a little girl, and i trained her how to fight, but i still told her no amount of training will ever make her faster, or stronger, or able to fight off even a out of shape man. sick people are everywhere, men face danger all the time too, just live safely, dont go to spring break as a 16yr old, dont wander the streets at 2AM, basically smarten up, because there are people who will take things you didnt even realize could be taken from you

Yes, good advice. Stranger danger is so important!! Though I will say in this case I don't believe Brittanee willingly got in that car. I think she was kidnapped and taken by force. Both Angel and Raymond were in on it. Angel being with a child predator shows she was okay with his behaviour. If she wasn't cool with it, she could have saved Brittanee by telling her to get out of the car (if she had just "hopped in") or calling the police knowing the danger Brittanee would have been in considering who Raymond is - I think they took her by force or tricked her some how. I can't see a young girl like Brittanee just jumping in a car in an unfamiliar place with two people she didn't know in their 60's to go and do drugs. I just don't buy it.
