Did you forget the main reason why Theo left Schaub, Theo wasn't getting paid by Schaub's podcast network. Theo was looking into the numbers and found he was being cheated out of 6 figures, so he wanted out, Schaub doubled down and stayed with them. So Theo walked and likely had a unpleasant falloit with Schaub as a result of Schaub also using his name to make more money for himself, like when he was at Barstool, and was asked about commentating an event and Theo wasn't aware of what he was talking about, and learned barstool paid for him to do it, and it was awkward for theo to say no.

I stopped being a fan of Schaub a many years ago. Before he got publicly exposed for cheating on his wife. I worked at a hotel as a night manager in Indy. I approached him as hotel staff to check in with him and his group and see if he needed his car valeted. His two friends (ghostwriters) stood in the way and blocked me and kept me away from him. None of that bothered me, because after working in the hotel industry for a while, I understand that famous people normally just want to be left alone. But that’s not my issue with him. He had this girl under his arm and was hugging and kissing her in the front driveway of the hotel. She was young, thin, and had a friend with her. Later on, about 2 or 3 am, her friend came down from a higher floor and sat down in the lobby. There was nobody around her, so I checked to make sure she didn’t need anything. I had a feeling I knew what happened but that was none of my business. I got the girl’s name at the time (I’ve since forgotten), and the name of her friend (who was with Schaub). I later found out that they were visiting him, from another state, to watch his show. His buddies distracted the friend of the girl Schaub was with, took them to a club, talked to her, and eventually kicked her out of their hotel room. Her friend however stayed up there and stayed there till morning. Housecleaning later confirmed they weren’t just “hanging out”. This was all fine to me at the time, because Schaub is famous, successful, and he’s in great physical shape. My issue was that he was on the Joe Rohan Experience THAT NEXT WEEK talking about his wife and kid (who she was pregnant with or had just given birth). I told all my friends and kept my mouth shut, but I’ll never have respect for him again. Bryan Callen visited a few months later and was one of the greatest guests we’ve ever had. He was so nice he even gave us tickets to his show (which we never asked for). Girls name was “China” and her and her friend were from Kentucky.

9:17 One of the biggest examples of why I couldn’t stand listening to podcasts that included Shaub is that, probably, 92% of his “comedic quips” consist of him just repeating the exact joke/repeating the punchline of a joke that a (real) comedian had just said or him taking the exact structure of the joke and just swapping a couple words. Case in point: Bryan- “Now, my dentist has a podcast now” Brendan- “Now, my therapist is like ‘I have a podcast’.” Maybe it’s just edited or I’m looking too deep into it, but even Bryan looks annoyed by it. Aside from a few insightful fight/experience-related bits on the JRE Fight Companions, all he ever did on those episodes was repeat what the comedians said, right after they said it…

I loved tfatk immediately when I started listening to them back in 2014. They were hilarious and had great chemistry. You could really feel that they dedicated a lot of enegy into the show with fresh ideas and topics every week. I went to their live shows in 2015, which were great, but I think that's when things started to change because the success got to Brendan's head. Instead of focusing on creative content, he tried to expand in ways that could generate more income. By 2017-2018, I felt like they were just showing up. Luckily during that time, they had great guest comedians show up which provided the laughs. But there's only so many times these regulars could appear.. I truly think comedic podcasts aren't built for longterm success because it's hard to create new and refreshing dialogue when you're talking to the same person for over 3 years. Jokes get repeated, there are no more funny stories to tell.. you end up just talking about day to day life about traveling from gig to gig which isn't entertaining at all. Even my other favorite podcast, YMH, has gotten stale for me for that same reason. The only podcast model that works is having a constant schedule of guests (ie. Rogan). Everything you mentioned in the video definitely played a factor. I just think we don't realize that all comedic podcasts just run out of shit to talk about at some point.

Carlos killed his own career. Joe just made it happen a little faster And I hate to see anyone fail but when your stealing peoples work. You kinda deserve what you get. With that said I feel like Brendan has been going down the same road. His constant lying and stealing fight predictions who actual out the work in is horrible. I think a lot of it was Brendan "spreading himself to thin " trying to do multiple podcasts. And comedy shows and whatever else he could do. But a lot of it is him being lazy as well. He just wakes up droves to the studio. Watches a couple other MMA channels and just copies what they say and their predictions. Which again is horrible and stealing. This is why so many of his fans turned on him and why so many don't like him at all. Just really wonder where he's gonna be at in life in a few years hopefully he changes the name of his whiskey as Tiger Thiccc is soo stupid. The whole thiccc boi name is stupid. He acts like he's a 15 year old white suburban gangster wanna be. But more then anything I have always hated the way he treats and talks to Brian He's been a horrible friend to him

I believe that Rogan wanted Brendan to go into comedy and podcasting because at that time Brendan had a stable audience that didn't hate him. I don't think he believed Brendan was a comedic genius that should have a special a year after he started. In combination with the fact that he likes Brendan as a friend, and didn't want to see him get any more head and body trauma if he didn't have to. I'm not the biggest fan of Rogan, but to me it just seems like a friend trying to help another friend out.
