Domino and Deadpool are like the best team-up ever. She essentially makes everyone else unlucky around her, but she gets amazing luck. And since Deadpool literally can’t die, she can take all his luck and have him “killed” in all sorts of horrible ways, but it has no effect

"how does he regenerate from drowning" every time his heart stops his abilities regenerate whatever his body lost that causes damage before he dies which is how he can blow up, his body creates new bones, blood, limbs, muscles, nerves, cells, etc that he loses. that's how his cancer isn't killing him cause every time it grows and eats at him, his body regenerates just as fast as it grows. when he drowns cause there is too much water in his lungs his body keeps him alive/conscious long enough to cough the water up. his body will stall his death long enough to regenerate instantly keeping him there til he finds the strength to get out. he could suffocate for hours before he manages to get out of the water but he simply wouldn't die.

14:10 the collars they wear are explained in the show X-Men 97. In canon, it bombards the wearer with radiation to dampen the mutant gene. Also, Cable's backstory is explained in X-Men 97 as well. They also have more complicated explanations in the Comics, but X-Men 97 is MCU.

If you guys haven't seen Pacific Rim, you should, it's easily my favorite Kaiju film. They've got great actors, a fun story, and giant mechs fighting giant monsters. They do an amazing job of making every fight feel weighty, like every punch is two trucks crashing head on at high speed.

there were a couple of cheesy actors but i didnt care, that movie was like the ultimate Power Ranger Movie (grew up in the 90s), really creative actors though here and there. thats why it was good too, it felt weighty to scale... kind of a problem with Legendary Godzilla films to me (Minus One nailed the scale beautifully)

I love how this film develops the side characters, both new ones and those we've seen. Russell is a typical angsty kid, and I wouldn't image the fighting scene would be that smooth without Domino. Let's not forget about Dopinder, smashing that creepy headmaster(?) with his cab, fits the character so well

A consistent character trait with Wade is that he does not play when it comes to kids being abused. The second he realized Russell was being abused, he got dead serious. And spoiler alert incoming, but there’s a child in Deadpool and Wolverine who is an abuse survivor, and that child is the only person who Wade doesn’t crack jokes about. Wade acknowledges the child’s past without a bit of wisecracking.

There are a lot of plot holes in this movie, one is that the collar shouldn’t even work on him in the first place because he’s not a mutant, and another is when they say you can only get the collar off with a grenade only for it to literally fall off of him after he’s tackled over the railing a couple scenes later by cable

There's a ton of stuff to watch, but you might've seen a lot already so just a typical reactors' list (feel free to add stuff to this): - Liveaction series: Chernobyl (only 5 eps), Money Heist, Squid Game. Misfits would be great, where the actor of Ramsay in GoT is starring, but this won't happen, I'm sure :D - Franchises: Planet of the Apes (the new trilogy), Pirates of the Carribean, The Mummy, Batman (the Nolan series) - Animated Movies: The Dreamworks stuff (How to train your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda...) - Movies: fun stuff: Bullet Train, Jojo Rabbit, Kung Fu Hustle - and ofcourse the classics like: Gladiator, Braveheart, Apocalypto, Forrest Gump, Green Mile, King Kong etc. (I call them the reactors classics :D ) (not suggesting the MCU stuff, because it simple takes too much time with all the movies and tv stuff and you're already watching so much)

I think another way you could say it is that the abundant amount of humor was balanced well with suspense and something to care about in the first film. The second film suffers in some moments from a lack of genuine concern being built up between key characters. At least for me. The story between Cable & Russel has a lot of amazing potential but fell flat to me from a lack of real characterization. And Vanessa's death would have been more affective for me had her role been expanded some and had it come in the later second half or third act of the film, in order to coincide with other climactic events. There was just a simple lack of emotion in this sequel in comparison to the first. Which left me less invested in the story. There was still a lot of entertainment value though.

I prefer Deadpool 1, but the second one has a ton of good jokes. Both have jokes that don't land as well, as well as jokes that aren't funny the second or third time, but I think the second has more of those types. Wade played off of Black Tom's name like five times. It was fine the one time in prison, and again when he called Cable racist for killing Black Tom, but he kept calling him racist to the point that the "content of their character" joke didn't land as well.
