I, too, like every other Christian, am so dismayed with what’s going on in our country. It is pure insanity. It seems Satan has released every demon at his disposal to destroy and devour. I don’t know how people navigate through this disintegrated culture without the Lord and His word. I read Psalm 11 this morning before church and He encouraged me with these verses: “The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do? BUT the Lord is in his holy Temple; the Lord still rules from heaven.” Nothing is a surprise to God. He will use everything to accomplish His plan and one day He will make all things right. Let’s keep our eyes on Him and do what He’s called us to do while we wait with confidence and eager anticipation for His return when He comes to put all things right.

Another lovely 'talk' from you! I could listen to your videos all day long - you have such a kind, sweet voice. I try to do devotionals, but I am not faithful with sticking with them. However, in the morning I do read my bible and make study notes. I am currently working through Matthew with John MacArthur's commentary as well as the Believer's Bible Commentary.

Thank you Sherry for letting the Holy Spirit lead you with such encouraging words today. Sometimes I struggle with what I should do pretraining to certain people(friends&family) and certain situations. How do i show the love of God and yet be a witness for what God's word says. So i just pray for the Holy Spirit to lead me.I often think of how "righteous" people said of Jesus look he eats with sinners but He also called them to repentance. Again thank you for the wonderful words of wisdom Enjoy the warm summer weather, my husband and I will be passing through NC in a couple of weeks on our way to Myrtle Beach.

Your fruit crop sounds wonderful! I love black berry cobbler! So expensive in the store. Do you ever make Concord grape pie? Ive got a great recipe I’m happy to share if you need one. Its a great pie and very different. I freeze them after baking and thaw for special occasions.

Homespun Wife - Do I spot your cordless vacuum hung on your wall? I have a cordless vac but I've never attached it to the wall. Your comments on having it this way, please.

Hi Sharon! I received my cordless vacuum as a second-hand gift and love it. It's really time for me to acquire a new one though (I'm thinking of waiting for a Black Friday deal later this year!).. The vacuum is being charged continuously when attached to the wall mount, which also serves to keep the vacuum up off the floor and easily accessible for quick sweep-ups. I highly recommend it!

My discovery and love of the NLT truly amplified my enjoyment of reading and studying Scripture and Creative Bible Journaling was an extension of that. I will plan to film a video or two this. ♥
