Kyle , I recently saw that also , not really an avid watcher of Shad's channel but I watched that entire vid and I was very impressed with not only the massive amount of work that went into that but the end product as well. I definitely agreed with most all of his choices , taken mostly from the text and just sensical ones on his own to fill in any gaps that the books did not cover / expand on. The result looks just about spot on for me , especially in terms of size and scale ; as a book fan first I personally never liked the show's interpretation of Winterfell , it always seemed rather small and just visually different compared to the image I had from the source material. I was especially confused with the show going with rather flat circular towers for the most part with their Winterfell , in a climate that so often is inundated with snow and ice. Good shout here , I hope Robert in particular and other ASoIaF content creators see that vid and highlight it for the fandom to see and share with others. I also believe Shad released that Winterfell model to the public domain so these ASoIaF content creators (unless I am mistaken) can incorporate that rendering in their vids if they need it for any reason.

Andrew K That was my hope in sharing, that the major ASOIAF channels would feature it and use it for videos. It would make some really cool content. It would also be an interesting resource to study. Yes he did make it public to where anyone can download it and use it or modify it. It would be cool to see someone finish out the insides and see the inside of Winterfell realized. Someone who is knowledgeable enough could put it into the real engine. It’s nice to see book Winterfell as a whole castle. It’s so large that it’s hard to imagine when you read the books. I always thought show Winterfell was underwhelming too. I like the way he designed the glass gardens. It’s how I imagine them looking. I would love to see someone design the crypts!

@@mathieumarlaire Why do you want him to be funny? :O I just ignore that aspect of things, and I appreciate that he is competent (knows what he is talking about) and puts in all the necessary work - research, etc. BTW, that also goes for Matt Easton (Scholagladiatoria) - I'm guess some of you guys know his channel too? He doesn't even try to be funny (though it sometimes just happens serendipitously with him), but on the contrary - is quite serious with what he talks about, and very knowledgeable.

Re: the prologue prediction. I read somewhere that Jeyne Westerling will be featured. I think the death will actually be Sybil Spicer. Despite all of her scheming she will die. Which will foreshadow the death of other careful schemers : Doran Martell, Jon Con, Baelish, the high sparrow and others

The Dayne house words are going to be "The light that brings the Dawn" With a capital D for the name. It will be a part of the Nights Watch vows. It will connect the Daynes to the others and possibly the Stark's, (I have a feeling the Daynes still follow the old gods), it will foreshadow Dawn being the original Lightbringer, and the words that would literally describe the glowing sword.

I think if GRRM were to do a Jon thru Ghost chapter...I think it would be the prologue. So instead of the prologue POV dying it would be Jon being put back into his own body.

Hi Robert. You said you can't imagine not touching on certain pov chapters tyrion cercsie exct in regarss to twow being a more northern focused story like Foc was for the south. Then you point out all dany has to go through before she could reach Westeros. I think that was a good point and the original question has a good point as well. The danareys and southern povs could very well be saved for DOS or towards the end of Twow like at the end of Feast you start seeing north again. Remember, feast of crows had very few of the main POVs

Hi IDG, I have a theory that I've never seen mentioned anywhere else. I'd do a video on it, but haven't got the time or the audience, so I was hoping you'd be interested: The throne will fall to Sansa in the north after much debate by lords whether it should pass to her or Benjen. GRRM mentions time and time again that in the north, a daughter of a lord comes before their younger brother. This is not the case in the rest of Westeros, and seems to be glazed over by readers. Therefore, I believe Rickon will die, but Benjen will survive until the end. We know he's not "dead" in a traditional sense at least, since he has been mentioned as missing so many times. GRRM also said that Benjen is NOT Coldhands in the books like he is in the show, so he's got to have bigger plans for the character. Love the videos!

1:25:39 - I think the final CHAPTER will be Daenerys either setting off towards Westeros from a place like Braavos or Pentos (probably after burning it down or handing it over to the Tattered Prince or something) or her arriving in Westeros and then the Epilogue will be a person at the wall (probably a Night's Watch member at Eastwatch) dying as the wall comes down around them (which I suspect Euron will be doing with the horn of winter which he'll obtain at Oldtown). So basically, I think the ending will be both the threat of fire and the threat of ice arriving at opposite ends of the continent with the final named chapter being the threat of fire and the epilogue being the threat of ice. And then "A Dream of Spring" will deal with both threats and see them clash.

*Prologue* *Note* - Remember the pattern GRRM uses with the prologues, so far they flip-flop between Beyond the Wall in the odd-numbered books and the southern Westeros in the even. 'Winds' being an even-numbered book is due for a southern POV after Varamyr's POV Beyond the Wall (and Beyond in general) in 'Dance'. So introducing an 'Eastern' POV would break the pattern. Also, unless somehow Jeyne Westerling is in Essos with a Khalasar, we won't be seeing any Dothraki Khal prologue. GRRM has said previously either in an interview or at a Q and A that she'll be in the Winds prologue. Not as the prologue POV necessarily just that she'd show up.

Do you think we will get an answer to what the Maesters are up? Like their secret society conspiracy is proved? Will it be tied with what is the overall plan of the Faceless Men? What's the faceless men's plan for Arya? Is there one? Also, do you think we will get more info about the weirwood tree blood magic? I remember someone in previous books (maybe the manderlys) saying something about how most dont know/remember a lot about the history/sacrifices/whatever for the weirwoods/old gods?

Great video and I think you’re on the money. Do you think we’ll see Lynesse Hightower show up in the books? Obviously George is introducing the Hightower’s into the story and in Sams chapter it’s referenced that she’s with her brother trying to arrange Sellsails to help against Euron. If they’re looking for help with Euron it’s not a huge leap to go to Dany. I think that would be really interesting and you could a lot of drama. Plus, Dany doesn’t have any female companions atm.

I think Jon is actually the son of Ned and Ashara and he will become the sword of the morning and king of the north. Aegon who is the actual son of Reagar and Lyanna is the prince that was promised and Jon ,who will likely ally with him since they are cousins, will be his metaphorical sword lightbringer.
