Henry Cavill is the main reason that Witcher is good - he has immense respect for audience and fans of source material as well for material itself. He is also fan himself and works hard to come as close to Geralt as possible. Huge respect for him - for these reasons, he's probably my most favorite actor.

Oh man I am so excited for the new season. Hearing Cavill say he wanted to make Geralt more verbose and philosophical this time (as he should be) was really great. That was one of the things that myself and most folks I've talked to about have agreed we wanted more of in the first season. I hope they show him being an awkward dork with Yennifer sometimes too. That whole "dear friend" letter thing which she held against him for ages was hilarious.

Henry is the biggest nerd and isn’t even ashamed to admit it! And he’s a TRUE nerd.., not one of those actors who get the role in a fantasy or superhero film and then “say” they’ve been fans for “ages” when you can tell they know nothing about the material! Oh… plus he’s a damn fine gentleman who adores his dog!! He’s a righteous dude!!

when he got cast as superman and i'd only ever seen him as charles in tudors I thought it was a weird cast. now i'm just hoping WB doesn't treat him like garbage like they treat everyone like garbage and he gets another man of steel outing. when he got cast as geralt i was annoyed it wasn't mads mikkelsen.. now i'm hyped af for s2.

Henry Cavill is a great Superman, next to Christopher Reeves. I totally agreed that I was not happy when I saw that sneak peak of Henry as Geralt because he looks too handsome and Mads Mikkelsen would've been a better fit; however, I'm happy to see more of Henry.

Exactly. It helps that this interview is a full 45 minutes, rather than the brief 5 to 7 minute interviews on most daytime and nighttime talk shows. Plus this interview was targeted to an audience already intimately familiar with the Witcher so they can go deeper with the questions rather than ask the standard and shallow "Who is Geralt?" to inform the general audience what Henry is there to promote.
