What's even more mind blowing is that this movie made a higher profit than the Super Mario Bros. Movie. The Mario movie only made around $39 million against a budget of about $45 million, whereas The Wizard grossed $14.3 million against a budget of $6 million.

There’s actually one major error in the competition that you forgot to mention: if the players are competing for high scores, wouldn’t using a warp zone be counter-productive? That would only be of any use if they were racing each other to the end of the game, but since the rules say that the winner is the one with the highest number of points, skipping levels would be counterproductive and would also result in the player missing out on opportunities to get more coins and extra lives early on, which would effectively come in handy on the harder stages.

Lucas managed to successfully play a game with the power glove. He truly is the greatest gamer. The Power Glove is one of the worst controllers ever made. Clearly using a controller that functioned properly wasn't challenging enough for him, so he challenged himself to use the glove. Hence why the reason he likes it is that it's "so bad".
