Down the same shithole it was in before CC came along. No sympathies here. I guess you can't fix stupid. Here they have a cash cow and someone who brought millions of new fans ( me being one of them) to watch their pathetic playing. So what do they do? They foul her repeatedly some pretty brutal ( almost no calls), they put her down because she's a WHITE straight woman. Even her own team did not come to her defense at times. Rumor has it that she's going to play in Europe. I hope she does and makes a boat load of money.

I'm trying to see how they made she ain't won nothing in college and the media did nothing but show her face and hype her up even when she lost in College they posted her face and team on the front page like they won let's look at what she can and can't do she can shot and she will give up on her team if she's not shooting seen that happen she can flop and can't play a lick of defense this almost like when the NBA was trying to push Jeremy Lin but sports is competitive cause if it wasn't she wouldn't have stayed in college long enough to try to win a championship so let's not take the competitiveness out of the sport because a large group of people started supporting their person

@@thewhisp5379CC is COOKING that Entire league. CC has SHATTERED MULTIPLE rookie and league records. She's exciting to watch as she's unstoppable. She has incredible handles, has unprecedented court vision and is by far the best passer that league has ever seen. Her ability to pull up from deep / logo distance makes her by far the best player in that league. If she continues on the pace she's established she'll be the goat of that league no question. She's had a huge following since college and that's carried over and grown since she's been in the LNBA. You can't see why, because you're focused on trying to belittle her, because you're personally offended. 😂😂😂 Crying about her not winning a chip in college, is what alot of the desperate crowd brings up. It's so typical and hilarious, teams win championships. There have always been NBA super stars that never won a college chip , using the argument of not winning a college chip is the type of argument a child would use. 😂😂 She's an INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR and garners more attention than the league itself on her own and more than ANYONE previously or presently ever in that league.

I was interested. Don't go or watch any WNBA games, but it was at least on my radar. They don't deserve her though. She's too good for them and I hope she goes to Europe and has a successful and fulfilling career. What's most insane though is the only ones criticizing her are other women. I learned that when someone I knew worked in an all female office. Women hate each other. They’ll do anything to bring each other down, but they’ll never admit it, and they’ll still hang out with each other. They hate the girls they go to lunch with and the women they have drinks with, but they’ll still go. They hate the girls they go on girls trips with, but they still go. That’s why there’s usually a huge fight on all these girls trips. They tear each other down all the time. Their makeup has to be flawless, they can’t wear the same outfit more than once per month, their shoes have the be perfect and different as well because other women will notice and make comments. “Those are nice shoes.” Means those shoes are ugly, and she’ll never wear them again. “What a cute outfit.” Means the same thing. “Who does your hair?” Means the same thing. Also, if you’re the one dude in an office filled with women then that’s like being a female CO in a man’s prison. There is no such thing as female unity. The only thing they can all agree on is that it’s all a man’s fault. But they hate each other.

The WNBA suffers from getting Welfare from the NBA and they know that no matter how bad of a deficit they run, that the WNBA won't technically fail because of the NBA subsidies. If the WNBA were a male league, then it wouldn't have lasted more than 3-4 years since it is STILL unprofitable. The percentage of revenue that the WNBA players make is higher than the percentage of the revenue that NBA players make. But, they are TWO DIFFERENT business, and not the Girls and Boys High School basketball teams. The main source of revenue is ticket sales and men buy tickets almost 2 to 1. MEN make it possible for the WNBA to even exist, so the WNBA needs to be put on notice that they will receive less and less subsidy each year until it is ZERO. This will light a fire under their butts to think about how to make the team self-sufficient.

@@ScootsMcPoot There are about 144 players on 2024 WNBA rosters. Roughly 90% of the world's 200 best players spend some portion of their career in the WNBA. Roughly a third of WNBA players play in the WNBA and elsewhere during the winter. Australia, Spain, France, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Poland, and Greece have popular leagues that attract WNBA players. There are dozens of other countries with pro leagues, but most pay poorly and the quality of competition is lower than among the top 30 teams in NCAA Division 1. @@tomhack4318 It isn't that bold of a statement to suggest that racism can come from anywhere. I don't doubt that CC being both white and the purported savior of the WNBA is a tough pill for many to swallow. I also don't doubt that a few folks can introspect and identify, for whatever reasons, that they would be less likely to be a fan of CC if she were any other race. I expect these people are in the minority - being black certainly didn't stop Michael Jordan from being universally loved in my all-white Canadian community, for one. But I don't think it's up to anybody to tell any of these people what to _feel_ in any case. The racism that I care about is the way we actually treat others - what we say to them, what we do to them, and maybe more subtly, what we DON'T do to them. There's no such thing as "Simply Jealous". When my jealousy blinds me to my own actions against another person in such a way that I don't see that I am projecting racism, I am not 'simply jealous'. Mistreating someone for jealousy is not somehow more justified than mistreating them for their race.

But he didn't fit the traditional and dogmatic mold of the PGA. So he left. He is now part of LIV golf which is a huge slap in the face to the PGA who were too stubborn to update and modernize themselves and properly handle their star athletes. Aja Wilson, queen of the hate club , no matter what will always be in Clarks shadow on and off the court . Clark shines in everyway and brought her light to the WNBA that cruelly assaulted her continuously, minimizing her accomplishments and in some cases not even recognizing what she has done for the league . The league deserves to evaporate. If they apologize profusely , and promise to route the thugs out of the league , Just maybe Caitlin will come back and rescue the league.

There are three generational talents that I can witness now in Caitlin Clark, Max Verstappen and Kyle Larson. If any of those three hop to somewhere else to showcase their talent, that's where my viewership will go. The difference is that Nascar and F1 will make their boatloads of money regardless, the WNBA cannot afford to drop the ball on Clark.

BTW, there is no "Euro League" (there is only a tournament, not a league bearing that name) ...there are dozens of women's basketball leagues and hundreds of teams such that the talent is spread so thin that at best it would be like CC going back to Iowa to play in the Big Ten. She could average 40 points per game in Spain, but it wouldn't mean much. WNBA is where virtually all the best women on the planet play.

Do you really think she's losing sleep over one vote? One vote that everyone, including the person who cast said vote, knows she deserved? If anything I'd say it's merely fuel on the fire. She's a fucking warrior and that one vote is just going to motivate her even more. She knows who and what she is. She knows that haters are going to hate. They always have and always will. But hate means nothing to someone with the means to silence it. After a rookie season like hers she has very little left to prove. It seems rather foolish and short sighted for someone to give her a reason to prove more. It's like you already found out... You don't need to fuck around anymore... @@agapejohnlagon1863 MVP isn't "most viewed player" though. The statistics favor a player who had a better season. Assuming that the WNBA does their stats like every other major sports league does, postseason points get counted separately from the rest of career stats and MVP voting and the like is done before the postseason, so that players who don't win don't get unfairly penalized for being on worse teams and the eventual championship winners don't have the advantage of having done that for what is supposed to be a regular season award. I don't see how that of all things is controversial. Should she stay in the league, she will almost certainly win MVP herself, and probably soon.
