My interpretation: The mother is the wolf and is abusive. Little Red Riding Hood tries to leave, but the mother won’t let her.

I am a big fan of the lines: "A murder gone missing would hardly be/Missed the last light of the sun for my march" and "I know that to her I'm no more than just/Meet me tomorrow at grandma's she said"

I'm glad you liked them! I had a fun time with the- i Think it's called enjambment

Oooooogh the uh-enjambenit? Whatever its good, i love the creepy repeating piano, and the uneasiness of knowing your mother sees you as nothing more food, but you still love her, and you want to fall for her lies of love. Hmm might i wonder if that says anything about my own relationship with my mother, nah can't possibly /sarcasm Love the music as always!!

BUT STILL THE WOLF IS COMING 🐺🐺🐺 gosh I'm so bummed I didn't listen to this during Halloween times. I love that you made something so spooky but also so you. It's spooky, it's fairytale but subverted, it's clever (those like double-meaning lines are capital B Brilliant), it's haunting; it uses your voice so well. And the art is stunning! I LOVE all the detail in her outfit. Excellent color work between her hair and the red hood. I love the paneling with the story of the fairytale. And the bows and lace are so beautiful. It's really indicative of your attention for detail you put into your work. SO COOL! I know I'll be back here next Spooky Season 🎃

I'm back to respond! (cw: mild body horror, cults) Their name is Janus, and they were part of a cult run by a woman who called herself Mother. One of the goals of the cult was to create perfect bodies/vessels for these saint-like figures to inhabit, and in order to do so the cult members (who were either born there or taken in, typically as children) sought out people to either recruit or... well, to obtain whatever body part they needed to stitch together the perfect frankenstein-esque body. Janus and some friends made plans to get away from the cult, but they were ultimately caught. Instead of a punishment, Mother announced that the head-conspirator had in fact been made (pretty much) perfect, and it was time to perform a ritual to embody one of the saint-like figures. The ritual ended up killing said head-conspirator, which Mother claimed was because there were 6 missing parts, actually. So Janus was sent out on a mission to gather these parts, which would in theory allow the head-conspirator (Janus' friend) to be brought back. Unfortunately, Janus found the people who Had the parts and immediately befriended them on accident. And those 6 were the rest of the D&D party! Fun little fact: the head-conspirator was an aasimar named Scylla who had a twin named Charybdis, who was a tiefling.
