You're doing well! I couln't do better by myself. But one thing I've seen quite a lot is that videos are more interesting when there is more movement in the video. Adam Neely is often times using a selfie stick and walks on streets, and the next scene is again in his rehearsing room. Same with Paul Davids, eventhough I'm not a huge fan of his content, I watch these videos because he plays a lot with the scenery and has very creative and interactive changes, while he's explaining things, or the famous "interviewing himself". Maybe the next time you'll write a script of one of your videos, you'll plan to do such things too. But again, you're already doing well, I love your content! And you already got the most important thing to be successfull in this game, you're very sympathic, honest and humble. I really like the way you explain things, and btw the sound of your voice is very pleasing, maybe a better mic to catch the sound of your voice better would be a nice investment. Greets from Switzerland ;)

Great video and don’t ever lose that honesty there are plenty of us out there who can’t go to guitar shops to try these . That particular instrument manufacturer are really pushing these and I was thinking of picking one up BEFORE I saw the video. Now I’m going to hold on to my trusty old Yamaha cpx and ask her forgiveness for me even looking at another guitar 😬

There is an option to adjust the reverb using the app. The default setting is 100% wet. Go into the app and scale it back to 25% wet when plugged in.

I think you did a great job on the video. I like how you explore the functionality but I would read the manual first so there is a strong understanding of the instrument. I started reading instructions years ago and it has helped me get more out of my equipment. Again, not a criticism just a suggestion 😄 I love your guitar playing. I’ve seen your videos in the past 🎸🎶❤️

use the bluetooth feature on your phone...itll update the effects...and you can modify all of the effects to shape the tone on all the effects since you say the effects are so strong...you can make them much more subtle and adjust the effects EQ...plus you can use the guitar as a speaker..or play songs or videos on your phone and play along with the songs
@tz78132 жыл бұрын
From 9:00 there is criticism of the effects, when played through an amp? I think there are patches that can be downloaded, to update the quality of the effects.

I was very pleased with the over all video. I especially liked the part showing your figuring out how the looper worked. I guess I didn't need to know what you liked but just the fact that the tremolo really sounded good and would be something you could see being used to write or be creative. I would have liked to have you had already become somewhat familiar with the program and how it and the guitar worked together. I hope this helps. Best of luck. You are an incredible guitarist and I have just started watching your videos.

Very good video. You are a were inspiring player, but I think you should start by telling people exactly what model you are playing. There are quite a lot of high vibe modeIs. I guess this is the steel string tdv30dce. You should mention that.

Yeah, I really don't like you needing an app to adjust more settings. That's bad. I would need those options to be accessable through the guitars own buttons and menus. Can you adjust where the octaver takes effect, like on an OC3?

Thanks for playing it plugged in, which is how most of us will play… most reviewers only play guitars acoustic only. I don’t care that much how a guitar sounds to me… I am much more concerned with how it sounds to an audience.

Acoustic is a pain sometimes because theres so many great tunes that use alternate tunings. You re-tune, then it takes time for the guitar to adjust, so you have to tweak for a while. Imagine a lightweight, ‘robot’ style tuning system, like the one used on Gibson guitars? Motorised tuning machines, that re-tune quickly, then constantly monitor and tweek, to stay in pitch. We’re getting closer to making guitars that can do almost everything needed. 😎👍

The looper work "acoustically" or just plugged in? It's an awesome idea to have a reverb coming from the guitar, it will shock some people tho. But the rest of effects, I don't know. If they make it super editable (taking out fx, replacing some, making presets on pc or app) it can be really good.
Yamaha brought out the TransAcoustic back in 2016, but I guess Lag has taken it a little further

Is it my imagination, or those strings are a little bit hard? You seem quite uncomfortable in some areas of the guitar. That´s part of the reasons of why I can´t always dig into acoustic/metal strings guitars. Great video as usual, the editing is getting better.

Is this the THV30DCE model?...I like the overall sound of the guitar by itself, especially on the upper frets, but without the awful black plastic control panel cut into the beautiful side. I cannot stand those, including the stupid 3 buttons on the Taylors. Absolutely ruins the looks, but that's just me. And no fret inlays, not even dots?...that's weird. But overall, that's a lot of guitar for the money. Thanks.
@RotemSivanGuitar3 жыл бұрын
yea, that's the model!
@mackreig23563 жыл бұрын
Dots are on the side of neck as other reviewers have shared and as for control panel I agree plastic is cheap unless it is an apple product but necessary and visible to player only.

I really wanted to like this, but if you buy one and are like me, it'll arrive broken, the company will be absolutely awful to deal with and they'll even make you drop off the broken guitar at FedEx yourself and just basically make everything your problem. Probably not even close to worth it for most people. Avoid.
@pablodebiddlybo37713 жыл бұрын
That thing plugged in is irritating AF. The hy vibe guys need to sort that out . Carrying an on board looper is a great idea but come on , how much is a second hand loop station these days? Beautiful looking thing but for the price I’d take a look at dowina guitars out of Bratislava . The finishing on their instruments is out of this world
