Hey, thanks for all of your tutorials! What hardness of wheel are you using for jam skating on concrete like that? What hardness do you use on a rink floor?
@RoCsWorld7 жыл бұрын
Garrett Gibbons I usually use the same wheels for both indoor and out door which are 97/98 softness/ hardness.... this video is 98 hardness. Now what I'm supposed to use outdoors is a 97 or softer due to it would be better to not split my wheel or chip it or catch a flat.

@@RoCsWorld I just noticed that I had been unsubscribed from your channel. I don’t know why but I keep getting unsubscribed (involuntarily) from channels I subscribe to…I learned that this is a common issue here on KZbin…I can understand being unsubscribed from channels that are no longer available but I don’t know why KZbin hasn’t address this issue for current subscriptions for channels/accounts that are legit and current. They’ve even unsubscribed me from some channels that belong to my personal friends and family members! I keep subscribing and getting unsubscribed…YIKES! 😩

My major problem with spins is the fact that I suffer from motion sickness due to inner ear imbalance. I even take Dramamine to try to reduce dizziness while skating, especially when I spin. I feel dumb in failing to think about picking a focal point to reduce some of my issue with dizziness during spins so THANK YOU for suggesting that. Question, while I can execute spins (not ever as smooth as you!), I have a hard time balancing in 4 wheels during spins. I’ve been able to use the front wheels in one skate while using the back wheels in the other skate while executing spins but that’s usually when I struggle to keep up with balance so I come to a stop (otherwise, I’d fall). Any suggestions? Because of tissue and nerve damages in my left leg, I can no longer be on both back wheels at the same time. But I can definitely be on my left front wheels while using my right skate back wheels. I love that you said “It’s good to learn movements both ways...it’s easier said than done but I agree with you. I’m just back to skating again after a decade of break...it’s SO good to be on wheels again! I skate indoors but like jamming a lot better than just going around...I’m mostly alone dancing in the middle but that seems to encourage others to occasionally join me in the middle. To me, skating without dancing is too boring but that’s just personal preference...nothing wrong with folks who prefer otherwise. My kid likes speed skating (Derby)…my husband is just happy he can stand on skates...lol...I’m truly appreciating, enjoying, and learning from your tutorials! Thanks SO much!!!
@kcire-tv3wy5 жыл бұрын
No matter how much you get used to spinning you will get dizzy. The dizziness should affect you less as you spin more. It will get to a point where you can't pick a focal point because you're spinning too fast so you kind of have to get used to it. As for your trouble balancing on front and back wheels at the same time while not spinning, it takes practice. It shouldn't take long to master once you practice doing it more. And once you've gotten to the point where you're comfortable with spinning in one direction, learn the other direction.

Is it possible to show exercises to get you to the point of standing on your heels and toes???
@ericjordan60596 жыл бұрын
Toe raises are good for standing on your heels or toes. What I found that worked best for me was when at the skating rink, pick 2 songs, go in your toes, and maneuver around the cones for those entire songs. Now you're gonna have to work up to that point but it will help with your balance. Once you're good with that, add in different moves to help your balance even more.

Thank you for coming through. I will be working on my spins... I was hoping you would speak a little more on the technique behind the toe-toe and heel-heel spin, how to keep spinning. Do I bring both feet in-and-out or just one foot in-and-out?
@RoCsWorld7 жыл бұрын
I can definitely answer that for you...to continue your spin, it's really one foot that slightly moves in and out but the speed of the rotation will come from the arms after you begin the initial spin. Using your arms will definitely assist with continuing the spin after you begin it. If you begin with your arms wide, the more you bring your arms in the faster you'll spin and the longer you will spin as well. Hopefully that helps.

@@footmotion my dear Batman if it wasn't for Jesus you wouldn't even be in this world my friend so it has everything to do it with skating and has everything to do with everything we do in our lives Jesus is the creator maker of heaven and earth the Son of God and by faith in Him we can have eternal life we live and move because he gives us life Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father except by me without Jesus we could have done nothing we wouldn't have even existed the problem is that people seem to have forgotten that it's only because of Jesus that we exist I hope that helps to my friend and don't forget Jesus is the best crime fighter out there
