Wrangler is one of those iconic brands that no matter how poor in reliability and electronics the die hard fan boys will continue to buy and support them. Bronco has had its issues too. Ford 10 speed is not the best, chattering and shuddering.

I've owned a lot of the 10R80 transmissions in personal and commercial trucks and I've yet had one to chatter or shudder. I have a '22 Powerboost for personal use and between using it for day to day driving and for towing our RV, it's been exceptional. The commercial trucks get pounded on daily in our open pit mine and quarry and our engineering consulting firm by big lugs who don't give a hoot about looking after stuff and we have experienced no such issues. I'm not here to say it's the best transmission, just to relate my personal experiences.

$18,000 dollars for a Mirage is considered cheap? What is the average income today? In Canada, household is about $70,000. Thus, even if this was $18,000 Canadian dollars that would be about 25% of the household gross income. The middle class is being destroyed, you will own nothing and be happy.

I had a Wrangler bought new in 2019. It was absolutely the worst car I ever had. From the factory the stabilizer bar was bad with horrible shaking if I hit a pothole in the road. I didn’t have a garage at the time and it leaked constantly when it rained. More than 3 times it wouldn’t start at all and something with a module had to be replaced under warranty. I got rid of it in 2020 and luckily did not take a loss with a trade in. I did get a ‘21 Honda CR-V and we shall see how it holds up but for now it’s been flawless and I have never had warranty work done on it. Few road trips and just over 40K miles. It will be 4 in November 😬

It's rare to see reviewers bomb Mitsu's. I sold them for a very, very short time. As a Customer Service Mgr you learn about all the issues. And there's plenty. But, I found the BIGGEST PROBLEM is that it is brutal trying to find Certified Mitsu Mechanics who can do warranty work and beyond. There just aren't very many. Go to a Mitsubishi dealer's Mechanic's Meeting, and it's like sitting in an almost empty room! Walk around the service bays and you might find 2 or 3 mechanics in a garage backed up with cars. To me in sales, that tells me only one thing...RUN!!!!

Perhaps Mitsu should build 155mm rounds for Ukraine's howitzers. They're easier and less complex to create. @cwqrpportable11 ай бұрын
As a mechanical engineer with over 40 yrs of practical experience and some familiarity with that year of Camry (2006 to be specific), I wouldn't claim it to be an engineering marvel! That's a stretch....... what it is is a simple mechanical design built to high standards. No new technology, no design details that would keep an engineering team up at night worrying if maybe they went a little overboard on excitement vs reliability. Let's keep it real shall we; Toyota has earned their reputation based on simple, well executed designs. Time will tell what the future holds now that they kick their heels up a little more with their design work. My money is on Toyota to do well and fix it if they screw up.

Saying the interior is spartan is exactly what most of us like about it and saying it's hard to get into because of the price couldn't be more off base. First, the this is the least expensive SUV on the planet for it's level of performance. It's does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds with a 9.6 second 1/4 mile all for $95K. It's impossible to match that with any other offering at ANY price and to get even close, you need to spend at least $250K. You were disingenuous by not mentioning the $79K MLR which is $72K after the $7500 tax credit. The MLR still does 0-60 in 3.8 seconds making it one of the fastest SUVs on the planet still and for a for an even more affordable $72K. You didn't do your MXP homework. You listed issues with the X that just don't exist and didn't highlight other issues that do. The panel alignments don't change from door closing to door closing and they can be adjusted if they're not right from the factory. I did achieve a perfect alignment but only after starting over with the front fenders, then front doors, and then the tedious process of FWD adjustment, and lastly the rear hatch. Tesla kept saying it was within spec and it wasn't bad, but it I wanted perfect and only got that by being willing to invest the time myself in learning how to adjust FWDs.
