Some of the higher-ups at Toei have been screwing over TFS for a decade now. Yeah, KaiserNeko got a small part in the Resurrection F movie and three members of TFS got to be in the Xenoverse games. But that was more Funimation's influence than anything else. They recently tried voicing their own characters during a funny part of the Kai dub, and Toei shut that down. And I guess Little Kuriboh isn't an official member, but he played 2 major roles in DBZA and he has his videos hosted on the Team Four Star website. Also, I'm pretty sure he abridged some episodes of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime that Toei actually owns. So they're keeping an eye on him.

I like Chris Hackey's Gohan better than Hebert's too. Hebert gives Gohan a somewhat deep voice (which is weird since it makes him sound older than his father) while Hackney gave him that touch of innocence that is present in Nozawa's portrayal but is actually age appropriate.

Idk I enjoy Bang Zoom's take on Frieza, its different and he seemed to have put some real emotion into the fight against Goku especially when he said thinking about Goku makes him want to scream. Not saying he's as good as Chris Ayres by any means but I can appreciate his talent. Also while I think Kyle Herbert is a great Gohan I think Bang Zoom's Gohan is a lot better with Gohan, making him sound more youthful.

There actually is more to Bang Zoom's dub, they went up to the Goku Black arc as voice actors announced they voiced characters for this rendition, I.e. Sean Chiplock having been cast as Future Trunks and publicly announcing. Whether or not the show continued airing is another story, but Bang Zoom went much farther than you'd expect.

Listening to this again after a while I just realized that I recognize Hercule's voice from somewhere, I am not good with remembering VA's names generally, I rarely remember them by name but I can discern voices fairly easily, but it actually never hit me with this one, just now that I was rewatching this, his voice actor also voices character called Victor S. Arseid from Trails of Cold Steel series, who is basically one of strongest swordsman to ever live in history of that world, if not the strongest And you can REALLY hear that voice in the scene you get before you fight him and his best student (Who at that point surpassed him) in a sparing match in third game, especially the second line he delivers, you really hear that voice in there, and it sounds so good ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYbZamt-aZx0g7c if you wanna listen to it) He is an amazing VA honestly, his voice fits perfectly for the 'older' characters that often either are strong, important or smart (Or all of the above), some other roles he really nailed would be Sojiro from Persona 5, emperor Rudolf from Fire Emblem Shadows of Valentia and Nemesis from FE: Three houses, Bloodis from Disgaea 5, Duke from Tales of Vesperia and host of other characters that are really amazing in terms of VA, both game and anime, so this just further proves that these dubs were not really bad due to the VA's (Well, not entirely), it's kinda crazy when you think about it
