The mistreatment Block B went through is something I will always remember. The infamous Thailand interview was terrible, but the translations were very ill at the time. But, they were all ROBBED by this company. (I just wanted to interject that P.O’s family paid a ton of money towards the group in terms of clothes for their promotions since P.O came from a wealthy family..) Thank goodness they all in a much better position and have all ventured out with their own individual activities. I am still a hardcore BBC to this day. 🐝🐝

I never knew that P.O was diagnosed with stress induced schizophrenia due to the backlash from the Thai interview. I knew that the controversy was huge but not that it affected one of the members to that point. What they said was horribly inappropriate, but death threats towards the members, *and their families* , is taking it way too far. They were young rookies, the best thing you can do to help the situation is to educate them and get the ignorance out of the way.

Topp Dogg was loved by many international fans, also known as Xeno-T now... And honestly I don't see any hope for them anymore. I was shocked at first when members started leaving the group but honey they did the right thing. Sooo many talented kids. I dont want to say they wasted their time, because we ToppKlass loved them and they grew more into themselves, knowing what they really want and what they are going to do. Their stage was my first ever live concert (and it will probably be the last cuz ya sis has no pennies) and I do miss them. But letting go isn't a problem. Some of the members are doing well, having a solo career, creating their own songs, becoming a musical actor and lot's more talented. I'm proud of all of them.

@@SkyDaddy777 Sanggyun, was known as A-Tom in Topp Dogg, is going solo after he was in the group JBJ, that was made after produce 101 season 2 after fans wanting the popular and talented boys to still for a group. Yooncheol who was knows as Nakta under Topp Dogg, is now known as Kinda and is planning to promote solo. Hyunho who was known as Seogoong under ToppDogg, has debuted solo under the name I'M. He has also played in a few musicals. Hyosang, who was known under the name Kidoh, has returned as an underground rapper. I haven't heard alot from him but I know that he continued as a rapper with Rock Bottom. I'm not really sure correct me if I'm wrong. Dongsung, who was known as Gohn, is serving in the military rn. But he plans to continue his music career, I think as a solo artist. Taeyang, aka Jenissi, is still rapping and has released alot of mixtapes and songs on soundcloud (go check him out). There are 2 more member who left, former Sehyeok who was known as P-Goon (is happily married♡) and Minsung who was known as Hansol (is under a dance studio making choreography under the name Navinci). Topp Doggs Hansol now goes with his "new" or normal Name Minsung. Or with the name Navinci under with he also posts Choreography and works as a dance teacher. As soon as I saw this in my subscription box, I became less bored. Especially when I saw the title. "Hunus Entertainment" is a snake and an asshole. My mind went straight to ToppDogg, who I loved for so long. They were literally robbed and just plain ruined as a group and as members of the group. More importantly, the group members didn't really seem to go or even fit. It's like Hunus just threw random boys together, gave them a name, and made them go out there and work. Honestly, it was a mess. Thank goodness Hansol is okay now because he was treated horribly. The others, too, I know, but as more of a fan and follower of Hansol, he had it worse, especially with the group.

all block b members (but zico) resigned with seven seasons in 2019 and zico started koz ent in 2019 as well (plus they released very good under seven seasons as well). also tho seven seasons did a lot better there is that one vlive I'll never forget where jaehyo is about to do his shoot for the cover of men's health and he just casually mentions that he has only been having salt, water, and breadcrumbs for a week so he'd look "good" (read: skinny) for the camera

Topp Dogg was my first kpop group; I discovered them in early 2016 and fell in love. The members were so entertaining and their music was to totally my style. However, I joined at a time where they were going inactive. The only comeback I got to experience was Rainy Day and it felt more like a goodbye than a return. I still consider them my ults along with the new groups I have grown to love. I find it very hard to forgive HUNUS for ruining my boys’ career leaving only Sanggyun left for me to support in the idol industry. I still follow most of the other members with Xeno-T, going to the military, releasing music, and other solo activities, but I wish they had been able to succeed as they were so unique. Since Elris debuted, I have done my best to keep them from experiencing what Topp Dogg did by streaming and supporting them as much as I can. Unfortunately, the public has been unable to see these lovely, talented girls due to the lack of comebacks. I can only hope that they are able to turn the situation around and promote Elris the way they deserve. *Pardon my slightly emotional rant; Topp Dogg was my everything for a long time and they helped me get through some shitty parts of my life. HUNUS therefore causes me a lot of anger.

HUNUS is simply horrible. elris gained a lot of recognition with their first comeback and sold a lot of more albums with color crush than they did with "we, first". However, HUNUS let them for for 9 months before releasing their "new" song "summer dream" which then lead to their hiatus until MORE THAN 1.5 YEARS! Elris fanbase is small but it is consistent, so if they are lacking funds they could've asked for a fundraiser easily. Also, what's interesting is that HUNUS is sending elris to every occasion possible to let them perform summer dream (like in front of the military for 9 times this year) in the same outfits with the same songs. which seems like trying to promote them is simply squeezing money out of them without investing. they'll perform on another festival next year with the SAME 5 SONGS. Just want to say that Hunus definitely did not do much better for TD/Xeno-T following their acquirement. Yes Stardom and Hunus' actions should be seperated but Hunus was/is still bad to their artists and it astonishes me whenever I see people praise them when they do the bare minimum (I'm thinking specifically of Elris fans here, to be fair). Even with new management after the switch, Hunus went through another sweeping staff change at one point (I think right around the time XNT rebranded?) and Toppklass thought that things might get better. For a short while, with the comeback of Wherever You Are (that youngest member Sangwon wrote btw!!) and getting a vlog series, they were. However, as soon as promotions came to a halt they were completely neglected (minus one gig for main vocalist Sangdo) to the point that staff wouldn't even mark members' birthdays on the fancafe calendar/schedule. Now 4 out of the 5 boys are enlisted. Their contracts are ending soon I'm pretty sure, and I have a feeling Sangwon will not renew and just get himself out of there as soon as possible to continue his work as a producer free of the reins of being signed under Hunus. ToppDogg too were robbed by Cho PD in the same way as Block B, something not mentioned in this video but I'm not too surprised because it didn't garner as much attention as the former leader only exposed him on sns some time after his departure if I remember correctly... These talented boys deserved so much better, and I hate that the remaining five who loved us and the stage enough to stick it out as long as they have were hung out to dry by their awful companies.

Also maybe you can do an episode on MMO entertainment? They are from what I can tell basically a branch of Cj&E and they have In2it. Just a few months ago Sunghyun left the group with several claims about the company not paying the boys whatsoever NOR did they pay or provide for anyone in the show they hosted that created in2it, Boys24. Now they are forcing him to pay over 100 thousand dollars to break his contract with his company. They are truly sick and I'd love to see more coverage on them!

Elris is a five member group with members: Bella, Hyeseong, Yukyung, Sohee and Karin. Their youtube channel is pretty active with a video a week even though Hunus has been SEVERELY lacking with giving them comebacks. They only released a OST and a digital single this year with one comeback last year and Sohee's official solo debut. I genuinely want to thank you for talking about this because I feel like hunus/stardom is always left out whenever people talk about "the worst companies in kpop". As someone who's been a hardcore fan of ToppDogg/Xeno-T for the past 4 years now... its been a painful journey ngl. I hope that you don't mind if I expand on the whole ToppDogg situation. I understand that you probably weren't able to talk about everything comprehensively in this video due to a lack of time and/or resources (since hunus/stardom are fairly nugu companies and it's pretty hard to find out stuff about them), so I just want to expand/shed light on a few things concerning ToppDogg. Ok this is gonna be pretty long. First of all, I feel like these two tumblr posts are important for people to read if they want to get a glimpse into some of the stuff that ToppDogg had to go through as a group: www.google.com/amp/s/abeautifulfish.tumblr.com/post/123476683624/stardom-is-the-worst/amp kokorosimzang.tumblr.com/post/123537171824/stardom-is-the-worst-part-2 These posts were made in the summer of 2015 when ToppDogg were still under Stardom Entertainment. These posts are specifically talking about Stardom Entertainment and it's important to make that distinction as Stardom Entertainment and Hunus Entertainment are NOT the same company (they're both still sh*tty companies but I'll talk more about that later) Stardom Entertainment merged with Hunus Entertainment in July of 2015. Along with artists being dropped from the company during this merger, many/almost all of the Stardom staff also left. Cho PD (the scummy CEO of stardom ent) moved over to Hunus but he left the company after a few months. He stole 300 million won (around 300,000 USD) from ToppDogg when he left and because of this, ToppDogg were forced to go on a 1 year hiatus since they had no way to fund a comeback. We know this because the leader of ToppDogg at the time, P-Goon (aka Park Sehyuk), exposed all this publicly on his twitter. Hunus really did try to promote ToppDogg at first. They gave ToppDogg their first legit reality show and they tried promoting the group in creative but cost-effective ways (i.e. getting the group to collab with popular korean based youtubers at the time to give the group more exposure internationally). In 2016, one of the members, Jenessi, got into a huge scandal right before ToppDogg was finally about to comeback with their Rainy Day album. Jenessi did a drunken livestream in which he appeared to be swearing and sticking the middle finger up at fans. This obviously caused a lot of outrage and Jenessi decided to leave the group. After this Hunus kinda just… gave up on ToppDogg. The company half-assed rainy day promos and began neglecting/ignoring ToppDogg and ToppKlass (ToppDogg's fandom) after Rainy Day promotions ended. When Sanggyun (the member that went on produce 101 season 2) ended up gaining a massive amount of popularity, Sanggyun wasn't even allowed to publicly hang out with or even /mention/ ToppDogg (possibly bc hunus was scared to upset sanggyun's new fans that he had gained through pd101 by mentioning his old group). When ToppKlass asked about Sanggyun's status as a ToppDogg member, Hunus chose to stay silent and waited A WHOLE YEAR to inform us that Sanggyun had indeed left the group. This honestly wasn't anything new as Hunus has always been too cowardly to communicate with fans promptly about member departures or literally ANY negative issues concerning their groups. The remaining 5 ToppDogg members re-debuted in 2017 as Xeno-T but hunus decided to debut them in Japan instead of Korea (for whatever reason…). After their initial debut in japan, hunus AGAIN put the group on hiatus. Because there was nothing for the members to do, most of them decided to do their mandatory military service. This is where we're at right now. ⅘ of the members are in the military and the one remaining member, Sangwon, is working as a producer (he most recently helped produce TXT's song "Rollercoaster"). I skipped over a lot of stuff that happened but I don't want to write a whole novel in this comment section (ha...hah.. too late) but I sincerely hope that people will support former Topp Dogg members and give Xeno-T some love if they ever come back. The boys have been through a lot and they deserve a chance :( Also stan Elris and Romeo because they're both amazing groups under hunus and I don't want them to end up like ToppDogg.

Elris added two members to their lineup, I'm not sure what their names are (I'm still a new Blris) (sorry if I spelled the fandom name wrong) in their comeback in February called "Jackpot" (I highly recommend it) they also changed some of the members position in the group on their v live they we're saying their new positions in the group and introducing the new members, they're still pretty active on their KZbin by making covers and stuff from my understanding.

I'd like to point out that ToppDogg completed promotions for First Street in December 2016. Hansol, P-goon, and Nakta were announced to have left in September 2017, right before the remaining members were spotted auditioning for The Unit. Their mistreatment of TD gets even more obvious when you include the amount of months they leave the group with no work and the fans with no updated news.

Evol had a lot of potential and leaving three members behind without informing them is just wrong. I like kpop, but the longer I am in this music industry… the more I discover and I can't enjoy kpop the way I once did.

PLEASE DO FNC ENTERTAINMENT Got this from a comment a couple videos ago: FNC Entertainment shamed and humiliated AOA into losing weight, with special focus on Seolhyun (since she pretty much saved the company from bankruptcy several times.) There's even some vlogs and reality show clips of FNC's staff screaming and yelling at AOA for eating a single bite of chicken or weighing 50 kgs. Then after YEARS of this abuse towards AOA, FNC Entertainment announces Cherry Bullet, which coincidentally has the same concept as AOA's latest release, Bingle Bangle. Speaking of Cherry Bullet, they've already had 2 comebacks in the span of five months while AOA hasn't had a comeback in over a year. And when it comes to AOA's health, there's been several instances where AOA members have fainted or passed out on stage, and there were rumors that Jimin and Choa had taken some diet pills that sent them to the hospital, all because FNC was putting too much pressure on them to lose weigh

Can you do Mafia Records next? So, let’s talk about Wa$$up. The most popular member, Nada, went on Unpretty Rapstar as Nasty Nada. Mafia Records TOOK HER MONEY FROM UNPRETTY RAPSTAR AND USED IT FOR THEMSELVES. She ended up leaving. Wa$$up was now 6 girls. Then, Jinju and Dain left because Mafia Records terminated their contracts out of nowhere. Wa$$up was 4 girls from then on..And Dain also always got the worst clothes on performances..Watch their performance for Shut Up U on Show Champion..Nari, Wooju, Nada, Jinju, Jiae, and Sujin look so cute..But they didn’t even bother with Dain’s outfit..That’s all I know about them..Their company also didn’t bother with their music videos..Not even for Nada’s solo (Bang Bang)..

as much as i appreciate all the members of topp dogg, and i agree that there was so much talent, it was also too much in a way. the members overlapped in their roles. there was too many rappers imo, they were all skilled so it was hard for all of them to properly shine. also the main vocals as well. seogoong and gohn overlapped as they were both the same type of power vocals. some members, like nakta didn’t really get to shine, and xero barely got lines. they feel like a group that was slapped together without much thought only for the purpose of debuting their trainees.

yay i been waiting for this! Block B deserved better and I am still sad today that everything that happened to them most likely hindered their success as a group because these guys were/are GOOD. There was one part you didn't mention (probably for a good reason) about Mr Lee (CEO of Stardom) who ended up committing suicide during the lawsuits in 2013. It seemingly wasn't directly related to the lawsuit itself since I believe he had already been gone from the company for 2 years. However, I thought it was worth mentioning here in the comments as something that probably had a big impact on the company's idols and staff, and in lieu of awareness about suicide in the Korean entertainment industry. I remember commenting suggesting Stardom for this series. So glad you got around to it queen 😍

I'm glad he's in a better place now, doing what he loves and being himself unapologetically. I know he's still struggling but at least now he's getting the help he needs

I miss Topp Dogg, I remember I begged my sister to take me with her to their tour. She loved it despite it not being much. This is my least favorite entertainment. But from 2014-present day and in the future I will still be toppklass.
