Totally, the worst part is, some of them will keep you weak and small ON PURPOSE so you keep buying their products, watch out for grifters and keep making real gains G 💪.

Just do decline pushups for an aesthetic chest. It may not have as much focus on the chest as regular push-ups, but it focuses upper chest much more which makes the chest look better overall. It also puts better focus on the deltoids too.

I fucking agree. Even the ammount of reps mat change just because of the order you do the exercises, or the rest between sets. My last time I did rings dips, I did 12-10-5 Straight to failure, as we are designed to do
@Narasthenics
@Narasthenics Жыл бұрын
Exactly, today just did weighted ring dips dropset into bodyweight, hitting failure twice, absolute killer.

@@Narasthenics That's the winning mindset, dude. Some days ago I bought a dip belt. I really wanna get good at both weighted dips and pull-ups

yea you also recover much better from calisthenics to failure than heavy weights to failure

They're an alright beginner exercise to get your body moving and build some level of mobility but not very good for either strength or size.

I go near failure in calisthenics and do 125 pushups on the weekdays, I stick to around 10 reps supersetting with pull ups, neck curls, and shrugs, and ive progressed this way 100x faster then i did doing like 10 sets a day of pushups until failure, where i ended up being able to only do like 8 reps or so

Bro how strong do you need to be to do ring dips? I tried them earlier today and they were pretty hard for some reason and I don't know why. I can do 7 pull ups and 5-7 dips using 5kg weights.
@Narasthenics
@Narasthenics Жыл бұрын
I could do 15 regular dips before I started on ring dips, I would aim for that, use ring push-ups aswell to build up your pushing strength and get more used to them in general.
@yunglean4759
@yunglean4759 Жыл бұрын
@@Narasthenics alright thanks man. I'm not sure how many dips I can go to failure using no weights but I progressed to weights when I was able to do around 10 reps. so I moved up to 2.5 and progressed from there to 5kg weights. Will definitely give this a try
@Narasthenics
@Narasthenics Жыл бұрын
@@yunglean4759 yea spend more time in the ring support hold aswell to get used to the stability and youll be good to go 💪
@Blackicon97
@Blackicon97 Жыл бұрын
Keep in mind that the more you hang them high, the more they are unstable! They are an hard progression indeed, but I think it highly depends on the person. For example I started with rings when I wasn't able to do weighted dips yet and I rapidly reached my usual sets; a friend of mine wasn't able to do the same and found them an harder challenge compared to me. Don't lose confidence and keep training with them, they are great when you master the stability! Just be careful and always do a good shoulders warm up before getting into the workout with rings: injuries are not that rare with them.
