The irony of the Jerry Seinfeld joke is that, he actually did that! He has like an entire comedy special where he just re-performs his old bits from Seinfeld (the tv-show). I caught a little bit of it on tv, years back. I remember they did like a skit where he was at a funeral at the start of it, so the joke was that he did the jokes one final time, like a funeral. It's like one of the least funny comedy special ever.
