Talking about players happens all the time and showing their preferred pronouns is a quiet and non intrusive way to make them be known to the people who care to respect them. It also helps out commentators who may not know every single player in the tournament (tho if it was only for them they could just look up the pronouns before the match or ask). Not gonna go in depth into the political implications of this argument and its track record in recent history, but yeah, it's a pretty bad argument.

I agree that he most likely saw this as the players making a joke of it, and that is reasonable to think. However, he was the man responsible for that stream, and thus, professionally, he is liable to comply with the standards of that community’s guidelines. And he laughed it off and seemed unbothered and it was on screen for as long as it was.

The issue with hbox is that he tries stupid hard to be "cool and hip with the new age" with like a almost cringe way of doing it. He probably put LOL just to like "fit in" with chat laughing about it and immediately assumed that punk did that to be funny for some reason. It would explain why he just suddenly didn't do anything about it till later. Hbox 9 times out of 10 would more likely join a bandwagon meme train then do some proofreading and be the better person. I don't watch him anymore for these reasons either. I just hope stuff like this doesn't happen anymore and Punk gets his dues cause he has every right to be tilted about it even though Twitter was trying to flame him during this.
