@@leahvogel5527 I totally respect that perspective if your goal was mainly to get the lessons learned out of it, or something along those lines. For me I personally enjoy these long dialogues Ron sets up, since he's setting the scene with those details about how it felt at the time. It's relatable to me and reminds me of when I used to bomb at job interviews when I first got out of college. Just that gut wrenching feeling of rejection/inadequacy is so painful at the time, that's why I enjoyed his long form detailed story in this case. Classic comic. One of the bests in my book. He is genuine & makes me laugh.

Funny but I wouldn't put him in the top ten.

@n/a but yet you don't know my comic choices. Also if someone doesn't put Ron White as there top ten that means they have bad taste? My top ten range comics from the 50s up to now. Im a huge fan of stand up comedy and always have been. But bad taste yeah sure you can tell that with out knowing anything.
@Jake-zg3cf5 жыл бұрын
@n/a also out of all of the amazing comics who have been around your a fool to think Ron White would be in the top ten seriously? He funny once again. I enjoy his comedy but he's not even close to top ten in history. Richard Pryor, Paul Mooney, Norm MacDonald, Rodney Dangerfield, Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin, Robin Williams, Bill Burr, Sam Kinison, Bernie Mac, Don Rickles, Bill Cosby, so let's see that's just 12 amazing comedians who are all better than Ron so yeah my point not is made.

I'm happy to read all the love for Ron. I never heard of him when he wasn't funny. I've only known of him when he was funny as hell. I'm near his age.

What I've learned from this interview is always bring a bag of popcorn wherever you go. And leave a trail so you know where you've been. Don't ask me why.

Ron's comedy, to me, reminds me of this story he just told. The story was a punch in the gut, and that's how his stories feel to me. Gut busters. Takes you on a ride and then bam, take your wind away with a joke. One of the best right there.

Whether it's the stage afraid of bombing or fear of failing. Either it will suck the life out of you or be amazed of what drive can come out of you to do better. The times I remember being flat broke and got myself in money problems and got myself out of the hole was fear of losing the roof over my head and living in my car.

I was just thinking “Man, Ron White looks good to be in his 70s.” Then he’s like “I’m 62.”
@Glitchfaction5 жыл бұрын
Yer Nan so he doesn’t look great for 62 then🤷♂️
@Glitchfaction5 жыл бұрын
Yer Nan age is not subjective. Age is a measurement of time. And if we are saying “Well looks good at 62 for a guy who has partied and done drugs his whole life,” then that means he looks good for someone who should look older than 62. It’s not the same thing as simply saying “He looks good for 62.”
