One of my “friends” (they hang out with me but they annoy me and I’m too scared to tell them to go away” is a plushophile and it makes me super uncomfortable. They bring their plushies everywhere and I just thought it was because they were autistic and it’s a comfort item. (I’m also autistic and bring action figures places with me for comfort so it was extra normal to me) When I was invited into a discord server with them and a bunch of other friends I realized that their plushie interest wasn’t wholesome. They would post pictures of plushies and talk about them in weird ways. The worst thing is when they sent a video of themselves with a rainbow dog? plush. I can’t see them in the same way anymore.
