Currently a senior in high school. Up until summer of junior year, I was so desperate for love since it happened to my parents at my age and I felt like it was my fault or something with me. I’d only get asked out as a joke, guys would rarely talk to me and I’d have to initiate everything (I’m a girl). I want y’all to know that these ppl in high school are NOT worth it and most of these people aren’t mature enough or in a good headspace to maintain a HEALTHY relationship long term. Please don’t do what I did and spend most of your time in school focusing on something you can’t control.
