At 55, I am told I look much younger, a student at a class I was teaching said I look 35 😊. This is what I do: I use retinol (not over my eyelids) every second or third evening, and vitamin C, i use red light therapy, micro current (Nuface but zip may be superior) , an amazing neck cream, of course copper serum every few days (very inexpensive, I use the ordinary) also a few serums, and I do consume hydrolyzed collagen, vitamin D , and I try to drink a good amount of water and exercise regularly, and I try to sleep on my back (I have a special pillow to help with this) hyaluronic acid is ok but it will suck the moisture out if u are in a dry climate, so slather moisture on top, also… some people like snail mucin for extra moisture or there are a few other good serums (esp Korean. Finds like beauty of Joseon), I haven’t tried NEWA yet for jaw laxity but I will try soon, laser treatments can be good too like Fraxel esp for under the eyes. For dry eyes, surprisingly, in addition to a heat mask and preservative free eye drops, caster oil, and the eyelets surprisingly seems to help lastly, I forget the name for it, but if you have quite dry eyes as I do, you can put your eye cream on and then put an ointment on top , Dr Dray recommends this , and it so works ! (Even Vaseline, if u have nothing else, will work). Yours in glass skin, cheers 🥂

Please look into toxic bile theory. I mention this because of retinol being a from of vitamin A. Retinol makes short term benefits with long term negative consequences, since as it turns out, vitamin A is actually harmful to us. I know this is very surprising and even shocking to learn. And vitamin C actually prevents detox, which is why people feel better when they take it, since detox symptoms make us feel bad, when they are aggressive happening, such as with cold or flu symptoms. People who have resolved their vitamin A toxicity, find out they no longer need vitamin C. I've been thinking of letting Dr. Rajani about it. I've only just learned about toxic bile theory very recently myself and I realize how controversial it is, because of course we've been given to think we need vitamin A. It turns out there is no such thing as a vitamin A deficiency. And of course it makes us more photo sensitive, hence why we are instructed to avoid the sun if we are using retinol. Better just to take hyaluronic acid, as he is recommending and make sure to stay well hydrated and moisturized ! Also, you will be interested to learn that dry eyes goes away as people recover from their vitamin A toxicity ! The channel I learned about toxic bile theory from is called Nutrition Detective, Dr. Garret Smith who has a protocol for removing vitamin A toxicity. It's the underlying cause of countless health disorders.

Hi Dr. Rajani, thank you for the info. I was taking HA internally, and it helped my knee pain tremendously. I also noticed increased skin hydration. I saw some talk about potential pro-cancer/tumor risks with taking it internally. I can’t sort out the science behind those claims. Can you speak to that? Have you heard this before or seen any studies? Thank you again. I’m very interested in trying the electroglo.

Synthetic hyaluronic acid gives me migraines after taking it a couple days. I tried different brands. Now I'm taking Mobilee which is a natural rooster comb extract. So far at 996mg Mobilee (which has 598-747mg hyaluronic acid), no migraines after a few weeks. I don't know why other forms give me migraines.

Great video, Dr. Rajani ❤ I have taken 1000mg LIPOSOMAL hyaluronic acid for many years. Taking 1000mg daily of hyaluronic acid is the only way you will maintain a mature skin a 💯 hydrated. A dehydrated skin equals to sagging skin. I have a very extric disciplined anti-aging HOLISTIC regimen to avoid plastic surgery. Also, a couple of years ago, I made videos about the benefits of ingesting hyaluronic acid together with other active nutrients. I may update the video with new information of how to delay aging. Greetings 🙏 Dr. Rajani.

Dr. Irene Idriss says hyaluronic acid is a scam, and I concur. I used hyaluronic acid for a year before I realized it did nothing to moisturize my skin. What HAS worked is polyglutamic acid serum. Huge difference between HA and polyglutamic acid, and I just ordered a moisturizer with polyglutamic acid on Amazon.
@rajanimdskincareАй бұрын
Thanks for sharing. I respect all opinions and practices. For myself and my patients....and very much so globally it's a huge Staple. Hyaluronic acid is an amazing antioxidant. In and of itself is does not moisturize. You need to feed it water and moisture. In America we are catching up to other countries. Yes we have the biggest skin market dollar wise, but in terms of best practices we are behind. Very few in America are using skin boosters for example. A Staple globally. Far from a scam for me but I understand it may be for you. Watch my vids and especially travel vids. Hotels in Korea provide Hyaluronic masks to their patrons. I inject it, eat it, topical it. And study Hyaluronic acid intake in japanese blue zones in the potato like vegetable. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

@@rajanimdskincare Have you ever tried polyglutamic acid? I used to use hyaluronic acid after splashing my face with water but still did not get any results worth continuing use, but my skin is soft and moist with polyglutamic acid. Dr. RajaniMD, love your informative, helpful vids. Couple questions: To my horror I recently noticed hair beginning to recede on my temples! Watched your vid on hair loss, got a minoxidil product and started using. Also watched your vid on hormone loss. Started thinking, could hormone cream rubbed onto scalp (as I do minoxidil) help hair growth? Have you come across any studies on this? Also, one influencer said red light can help, esp. if using minoxidil, but not red light masks, need to be head band or helmet. I have your red light mask, love its flexibility. Could this be used to help the success of minoxidil? Would love your opinion on these 2 things.
@rajanimdskincareАй бұрын
I like minoxidil, low dose finastride is another consideration and you can read recent studies on the prostate preventive effect. Yes to red light and yes my mask may be used especially at the hair line it will cove some of that naturally with the fit and straps. Also I like growth factors with microneedling under devices on store.rajanimd.com you can read about. I had a little receding hair myself from a young age so don be too worried but be preventive. i still have lots of hair and no more receding

Thank you for this in-depth discussion. I love using a topical HA serum, and I’m glad to know such great results from the studies. Every day I blitz my hard tablets in my coffee grinder and mix them in some applesauce bc I can’t swallow big tablets. In the blitz I have bamboo powder, collagen powder, hyaluronic acid, my low dose multi, a quercetin capsule, & a potassium tab (only 99 mg). Then I i chase it with a delicious Chia Seed smoothie which has 2 TBLS pre-soaked chia in a cup of water, a scoop of protein powder (peanut), 1 TBL cacao, half banana, 1/4 cup frozen blueberries, and some stevia. This way I get all the anti-aging stuff in one sitting. And it tastes so great.

I have had a thought I regards to your ElectroGLO powder. In the past you have talked about the wonders of pomegranate and that you add pomegranate to a beverage daily. Instead of raspberry flavoring what about adding pomegranate powder to the mix. This would remove the flavoring ingredient from the profile and increase the skin benefits of the ingredient deck.
