Why is Luigi always described as cowardly? The only time we see him genuinely afraid is in the Mansion series, where he's depicted as being terrified of ghosts. In spite of this, when his brother (or his friends) needs him, he confronts his fears and fights the ghosts to save him/them. That is LITERALLY the definition of COURAGE. Luigi faces his greatest fears when the situation calls for it. He's not cowardly, he's incredibly brave.

The Wii U and 3DS era was such a strange period in general. It felt like they were kinda going aimless though more on the Wii U but the first year of the 3DS was kinda... awkward. To anyone who didn't know, at first they wanted the 3DS to be a multimedia machine by having movies be available to purchase on the 3DS eShop but then they realized nobody would want to buy movies in 240p quality in the 2010's. And there was the botched way they handled Miiverse only for Nintendo to cast it aside when they themselves messed it up including forcing a 30 post daily limit and... overflowing the place with 3DS users that probably caused them to make a 30 post daily limit...

There people who work for them they have to pay crap loads of money to along whit making video games that cost even more money. If a game bombs they lead to lots of money lost or jobs lost too. There a reason why f-zero and earth bound don't have games being developed any time in the future. They are one of, if not the wealthiest company in Japan. Wanna idea of how confident Nintendo is in it's finances? When Microsoft attempted to buy them before launching the OG Xbox, Nintendo laughed them out of the boardroom. That's by Microsoft's own admission. According to an older release from former Nintendo CEO Hiroshi Yamaushi, he actually responded in person by saying "suck my yellow balls, Mr Ballmer...". I say this as someone who has owned and enjoyed gaming on every major console and PC in the last 20 year; Nintendo can do whatever the hell they want until well after I'm dead without ever worrying about money running out.

I really wish the year of Luigi did better and didn't feel like something thrown together last minute. I thought this was gonna be an analysis of the year of luigi's financial failure and the effects on nintendo as a company, but this is more of a retrospective of the year of luigi with only around 3 minutes of discussing the aforementioned topics. I think you should change the video's title and thumbnail to reflect the content of the video more accurately, and seem less clickbaity. I have played every game that was released in the Year of Luigi (yes, even NSLU, despite how short i played it for) and honestly, it was pretty fun. I'm especially fond of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, because of the multiplayer aspect and even the final boss which I adored. Genuinely hoping to see more like this from Nintendo in the future

I don't blame Luigi or any games featuring Luigi, I blame the seemingly aimless releases of games. The Wii U had very few games that I even liked and I HATE the Wii U. As much as I thought Dark Moon was boring and kinda lame, it was good. The games during that time were just weird...both 3DS and Wii U games felt so bizarre and random that year to where I cannot remember them for the life of me. In Japan brands using train lines to advertise stuff is pretty common and this is the only example I can think of where something like that happened in the US.
