Woah, I just came back to this video after a few years and Benny's "How did you get in my room" at 1:15 is I'm pretty sure a reference to how Sinatra greeted his crowds at the Las Vegas Sands whenever he started. You can hear him say it on his iconic album Sinatra at the Sands. Such a great detail!

Definitely took a while for me to concoct this! But that bass line from the original swung kinda reminded me of the bass clarinet line from "I've Got You Under My Skin" Sinatra so once I had that idea it just took off from there

The animation though. It just shows so much character and humour. For example: Imagine a highly complex machine, with great intelligence and intellect who has great homicidal tendencies, was just so *done* with you that they made a whole musical number about how they gave up on trying to kill you and just want’s you somewhere not their problem. Maybe I'm just the old guy -- never played Portal, never heard of Jonathan Coulton. My grandfather called Sinatra "Frankie Sinus" back in the 1940s. Nonetheless, I'm blown away by how this arranger and the 8-Bit Band channeled the Nelson Riddle swing and sound that made Sinatra so appealing. Clever work ! Satire, homage, clever re-interpretation all in one !!

AAAAAAAAAA my day was made. This is a Frank Sinatra tribute I would recommend to my fellow Sinatra fans!!! Benny sang and trumpeted amazingly, Taylor's animation was *chef kiss* so damn cute and dynamic, the band was 100/10 as ever, the arrangement really brings me back to those Capitol albums (Nelson Riddle is the OG you're right, the shoutout to I've Got You Under My Skin is legendary...) and boy it brought a tear to my eye... I love the original but this version, with the strings and swing, knocked it out of the park :D Also I LOVE how the singer referenced the "How'd you get in my room?" from Sinatra at the Sands and the whole quip about Portal 3 was such a nice joke for Portal fans and of course, fits with the snarky stage persona of Frank Sinatra himself (but that test subject thing was so Glados. Imagine if she sounded like Sinatra xD). Super incredible cover, and in the words of the Chairman, that was a gas! :D Edit: why did I say this
