I'm commenting just to acknowledge how special this song and band are. If you are reading this, you are strong enough to survive, having the courage to be vulnerable to our human condition is hard, but anything worth doing is hard. Teach them.

Kill the keyboards, we all thought, and cringed. How great was BC? How great was Stuart? No way I can say anything smart except that in 1984 I was a lost teenager, and I heard "The Crossing". I thought, well, if someone can do this, I better figure it out. And 31 years later I'm still in awe. Tony, Mark, Bruce and Stuart - you changed me life for the better. I have every thing BC has put out for sale on vinyl, tape, CD or DVD, but I only saw you once live in 1986. It was The Seer tour and I remember it well. Thank you and I miss Stuart every day as well.

This song takes me back to my days in the US Army when stationed in Germany during the Cold War. The threat of war was constant and my artillery unit was less than an hour from the East German border. We would practice deploying to our wartime positions near Fulda, West Germany. Strangely I miss those days. This song takes me back and makes me sympathize with the East Germans stuck across the border.

Incredible lyricist. Every song is anthem quality. My favorite band still!! Steeltown my favorite followed by Crossing, Skinners and then Damascus.
