My sister played with boy toys. Was obsessed with cement trucks. Hated the color pink and hated dresses. Wore boys clothes. She is a tomboy and a mother of three. I'm glad we grew up in the 90s.

I often think about how grateful I am to have been born in the late 80s. I have always been a tomboy. Riding motocross since 3 years old on my own bike. Enjoy working on stuff and welding, wood work, construction ect. Got in trouble as a younger kid because my ninja turtle kicked the neighbor kids barbies butt😂🤦🤷🤣 silly things like that. Never wore much makeup if any at all. Yet I have never once thought to myself hmmm maybe I was born in the wrong body. But I do believe if I had been born these days I could have so easily been confused at a very young age and it's a terrifying thought in my opinion. Like Amala said, I think everyone has a time in their lives especially during puberty where they are so uncomfortable in their own skin. They're unsure about the changes happening then add the hormones and things in the mix and of course things can get extremely emotional. What breaks my heart is the thought that people actually thinking it's acceptable to tell children this bs. That they can just switch things up on a whim. Instead of encouraging everyone to look inside themselves and find happiness. Not worry about what anyone else thinks or whatever else. True happiness comes from within. And everyone is so beautifully uniquely them. Kids have it hard enough. Lets not make it even worse for them. If an adult wants to change themselves permanently then that's their right and choice. But children are so easily swayed and should be celebrated for their uniqueness. They are the only one of themselves on earth. No one should ever be told to conform to anything. Especially this new woke nonsense. It's beyond hypocritical AND it literally contradicts itself more often than not anyway. There is such a serious mental health crisis right now and this is only going to continue making things worse. I absolutely agree with EVERYTHING Amala said. Truly heartbreaking to me that people feel they are unable to be happy in their own skin. And force themselves to fit inside a little box with labels. It really does basically cancel itself out with almost ALL their arguments and talking points for lack of a better way to put it. It scares me raising my daughter in this insane world. I encourage her to just be her and stand strong in herself and her beliefs. I want a world where facts rule not emotions. Where it is truly equal for everyone. This whole ideology is just insane in my opinion. I have always believed do what makes you happy. Once again as an adult though. Such a big part of growing up is learning who you are and what you believe and finding a place for yourself as well. Sorry for novel size the rant I didn't intend to write such a long comment but it really does make me so frustrated. Wishing everyone the best! ❤

@aleciak524 you're 100% right. Though I get to an extent why kids are putting themselves in these boxes. They treat gender identities like horoscopes or personality quizzes. Something i did all the time as a child. Except these gender identities take things too far by denying actual reality and their own bodies.

@@maxc1366 Saying "ciswoman" to describe a biological female is neither exercising "University level" intelligence nor common sense. A biological female is merely a WOMAN. Only something outside of normalcy requires a qualifier to identify it. I have a master's level education and am a former preschooler teacher. I never met a 3 or 4 year old who didn't immediately recognize the difference between girls and boys and identified each properly without adding a biological qualifier. If my doctor cannot describe me using the common sense of an average preschooler, while presenting as a highly educated professional in a field specializing in biology, then yes, I will be finding a more reliable doctor.

I find it really sad that someone would let their combination of ideology and mental illness interfere with fully experiencing one of the most amazing things the female body can do. Otherwise.. good-bye we aren't talking about biological delusions here.

This topic of “gender is literally anything you want it to be” is so interesting to me….because it’s not. That is called a personality, you can be and have ANY kind of personality you want. And that can include not feeling like wearing dresses, or liking colors or whatever their argument is. They are literally confusing the terms “gender” and “personality”, which is why when people make fun of them, the usual talking point is they make their gender identity their whole personality. Because they use the terms interchangeably when that is just not the case.

literally same here. I've always been scared to voice my real opinions around most of my friends, because most of them are really liberal. Every time I'm around them, the conversations always circle back to race and gender related things. I think everyone is equal, and I support gay and legitimately trans people who have dysphoria to live their lives, but apparently that's not enough. I don't support neopronouns, being "non-binary", minors transitioning, biological men in women's sports, etc etc. But if they knew that, they'd freak out at me. They always complain about America and how oppressive it is, but I think that the trend of hating America is super dumb and that they don't realize how good they have it living here. But I have to keep that to myself bc the backlash just isn't worth it.

Abortion is not murder. But also, the technology that actually exists for genital reassignment surgeries is not even close to looking like, smelling like, tasting like or feeling like a biological cis female vagina. The procedures currently in existence are still so dangerous and experimental, the absolute best case scenario end result is having an open wound that has to be maintained with dilating every day forever using a stainless surgical steel d!7d⁰-like object and feeling zero nerve endings. Worst case scenario is having ßh🤫t come out of BOTH holes below the waist, the 🍑 and the 🦁, or a life of neverending excruciating chronic pain on the pelvic floor. No biological male is going to having an abortion anytime in this century or even this millennium, regardless of the fact that abortion is not murder.

I knew a lass at school who was the very definition of a tomboy. And honestly I admired her so much for how she acted in such a non-feministic way whilst still being a girl (cos at that age we weren't women). Ultimately Im all for choice and what makes you happy as it's your life, but I can't help but hope that she didn't change genders and remained happy as a women who just had "masculine" lifestyle choices. It's kind of sad now that people feel the need to be a certain gender to be able to act a certain way, gender shouldn't define you (I'm not talking about creeps who want weird stuff like the ability to breastfeed). I miss the times when a tomboy was something to be mischievously proud of.

The trans-person wanting to do 'get pregnant, to have the first trans abortion' is mentally gone, no doubt and evil. And altho I don't think it can ever happen for a man, because it takes more than just a uterus to carry and be pregnant with a baby. A woman's everything is calculated within that. What I think would be worse than a delusional person wanting to do that is..the doctor or doctors who would be willing to even attempt! That says more to me than anything on how far we've fallen! We already know most trans who act like a lot if them do, from what we see, are mentally off, but a doctor or doctors willing to try, is just evil and greedy and probably more self-serving than the trans requesting it!

That teacher talking about getting "misgendered" really pissed me off. Not just because she was backhandedly threatening her students with volence (Though that too of course) But because I'm sick and tired of this idea that being "misgendered" is this OH MY GOD worse thing that can happen to a person. I'm a man. When I was 8 years old, I had long hair, hair that was about halfway down my back. I would often wear it in a ponytail and because I was only 8-9 years old, that meant that I looked like a girl. And the fact of the matter was I used to get mistaken for a girl fairly often by strangers. So I can speak from experience when I talk about being misgendered. And you know what? Not once did I feel the need to get pissy about it. Not once did I feel like someone was being "violent" towards me. Not once did I even get mad about it. I understood *even at the age of eight years old* that by having long hair *like a girl* that sometimes people would mistake me for one, and that it really wasnt that big of a deal. In fact I usually didnt even bother to correct people. So can we stop acting like people "misgendering" is such a fucking war crime??

But if I were to say to that person who misgendered me "I'm a girl by the way" and they still countinued to call me a boy, that would've been wierd. Now take people who have body dysphoria into consideration. Trans man does not want to be called a woman, trans woman doesn't want to be called a man, etc. It's understandable that they get mad when a person keeps on misgendering them after being corrected.

@@adris4009 You miss the point. For many, labeling another outside of one's true biology is lying. We cannot compel others to lie to affirm how we feel. No one has the "right" to be affirmed by everyone they interact with. Every adult with emotional maturity understands this. If one lacks that maturity and common sense then its up to them to figure out how to acquire it; its not up to everyone else to appease them. There are those who are never going to like me or deal with me the way I desire or feel I deserve solely because I am a Christian and a black woman. Some have even outright called me names or mocked my deeply held beliefs. However, I do not navigate life in a constant state of offense, screaming into the faces of such people, having public or social media melt downs, become violent, or attempt to have them lose their livelihoods, reputations, or freedom simply because I've been offended. I am actually able to go on with my life. I know who I am so someone's ignorance or refusal to affirm me isn't tied to my identity. No one should be enabled in the delusional expectation that they can navigate life being affirmed or even liked by everyone else. It's something that's NEVER going to happen, even if you try to use every tactic available to have everyone who offends you publicly shamed, physically harmed, fired or even locked up. Others live by their personal morals, values and mindset, not ours. They have the right to disagree with us or not like our choices in life. They have the right to dislike us and not submit to our desires. When you don't respect that others also have rights to their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and language while the government and culture begins to support that warped mindset, then you will inevitably morph into an emotionally volatile and entitled monster who routinely destroys lives out of offense. Just an aside - by calling yourself a "ciswoman", you are part of the problem not someone moving toward our society toward restored peace and sanity. A biological female is merely a woman. Only something outside of normalcy requires a qualifier.
@adris4009
@adris4009 11 ай бұрын
@@awordindueseason I get where you're coming from, but its important to understand why misgendering can be a big deal for some people, especially trans people. It's not about compelling others to lie or forcing them to affirm something but more about being respectful and inclusive. It's not about forcing agreement or liking, but about creating a more accepting and caring society where individuals can live out their authentic selves without worrying about being discriminated or harmed. You mentioned that you, as a Christian and a black woman, have encountered people who do not agree with your beliefs or identity. I'm not denying anything, it's admiring how you can navigate through these situations. However, everyone's experience is unique and not everyone feels the same way and has this emotional resilience. What may be less significant for one person can be deeply distressing for another. To what you said about the use of the term "ciswoman" it is a term used to distinguish between individuals whose gender identity aligns with their sex assigned at birth (cisgender) and those whose gender identity differs from their sex assigned at birth (transgender). It is a way of acknowledging and understanding the experiences of both groups. Differentiating between "woman" and "ciswoman" is not problematic. It's about acknowledging the diversity of women as a group. The use of this term is intended to create clarity in conversations where gender takes a big part. Its not used in conversations where gender is irrelevant. The goal is to create a society where people of all gender identities can coexist peacefully and with respect for each other's experiences and identities.

@@gargoyled_drake”mansplaining what it is to be a transwoman”. What you are is a transwoman, but what you’re doing is trying to mimic women. Those women are born and raised as women, they definitely do know what they’re talking about when it comes to being a woman. But you, a transwoman, would never know or come to be a woman, that is why you are a transwoman. You can’t remove the trans part of yourself, that’s life. And you can’t evade getting “mansplained” about what it’s like to be a woman because the whole point of transgenderism is to mimic the sex, physiology and social roles that you weren’t born with. If you want to mimic successfully, you’re gonna need to learn from women. Women is your goal.

When I was little, I had unlimited excess to social media.(I'm 26) My parents were working hard and they just handed me electronics without supervision and thought I'll be fine. I first thought I was a lesbian for a few years. Because I was watching bunch of gay youtubers and coming out videos and my favorite characters in shows were gay. It was different and cool in my 11-12 year mind. Then I thought I was transgender for the same reasons. Then I grew up a bit more and I thought there is no way I'm monogamous I'm polygamous. And I wasn't the only one going through this. Anyone who had unsupervised social media in my friend group was trying to one up each other when it came to being different and oppressed. The thing is, I have changed and grew up as a person and came to terms with myself being just another straight women. But some of my friends got stuck. See one friend I had really was a gay person. And through support and guidance he is now living as himself. A feminine gay dude. But my other friend just got more and more and more confused. She just couldn't fit herself anywhere and kept trying to be THE different one in the room, THE MOST oppressed persen in the room. And she is unhappy, alone and more importantly still very confused as a 26 year old. What I'm trying to say is children needs guidance and love but more importantly responsible parents who knows what they're dealing with when it comes to content their children consume because it's so easy to influence and riun childrens minds.

If I had to choose a way to identify, I would just say I’m a female with gender dysphoria. However, I’ve pretty much decided that I don’t and can’t fit into any boxes and that’s okay. People will see me how they want to and that’s their prerogative. Trans ideology is dangerous and I’m a prime example of why. If I was given time to learn to accept myself the way I was born, I would be a lot happier with myself now. Hey Amala! I’m an 18 year old female and I agree 100% with your end message. Men and women can have any number of traits and it only enforces stereotypes more to insist we’re something else because we don’t fit into these cleanly cut boxes. I myself really relate to this, as I used to think I was a number of things before I realised I’m just a woman who is somewhat masculine. However, I do believe that trans people exist; I mean this in the sense that some people are born with gender dysphoria, a mental disorder - in need of a better word - which causes an extreme sense of distress at the characteristics of one’s biological sex. Studies show that the only way to alleviate this in most cases is to socially and medically transition so you can live your life as the opposite sex. You’ll never BE the opposite sex, but you’ll live your life as though you were. It’s more of a medical identity than a political one. So even if gendered stereotypes didn’t exist, a trans man would still want to have their breasts removed, for example, not for the validation of others, but for themselves. For me, the issue is not these genuine trans people who likely just want to transition and move on with their lives. The issue is these extremists whose logic goes in circles, has no basis in science, and want language and society to be restructured around them. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the difference between dysphoric trans people, and the non-dysphoric people you usually see on tik tok. The channel “The Offensive Tranny” does really good breakdowns of this, so it’d be cool if you could do a video if it interests you. Wishing you all the best!

Why does gender dysmorphia exist? You claim people are born with it, but I'll also add in people are raised to have an identity crisis. From parents not wanting to raise their kids to be acknowledge by male or female when society has those boundaries in place; to the added hormones in food, which messes around with our body's chemistry. These factors can also be attributed to body dysmorphia. Then, if things weren't bad enough, autism causes body dysmorphia as do other mental health issues. Please, be aware of the full spectrum of problems before jumping on the surgery band wagon. If the underlining issues aren't looked at, there's no way surgery should be the first solution. Many trans who have had the surgery are now regretting it, because their other problems weren't dealt with and now it's too late to switch back. When a child has a double mastectomy at 17, but at 25 realizes she was not really meant to live life as a man. Then what happens?
@Ninjanimegamer
@Ninjanimegamer 8 ай бұрын
@@Yanyanwizardhave you been tested for autism? Ados2 is the test that is accepted for autism. Trans people are 6 times more likely to be autistic. Why? Because with autism comes body dysmorphia, a confusion of self and how they fit into society. It's common knowledge that other factors are at play. Btw, only boys have been. Studied and it's hard for girls to get a proper diagnosis. Look into it, before you regret anything you can't change.

Completely homogenized so that no one was unique. Yet it was accepted because it meant no one was dominant. If we keep trying to demolish differences between the sexes, between the races, between religions... reducing everyone down to their most base form of humanity in order to not assert "privilege" or "binary" characteristics... this is what we're headed for, people. It’s refreshing and re-assuring to see someone in your age group seeing reality as it truly is from such a grounded perspective. You give me hope for the future. Your powers of critical thinking are so rarely seen anymore. You think for yourself, are grounded in reality and speak it so articulately and eloquently. Please tell me there are more people your age than I realize. Thank you for your work. The world needs it and you.

Hello, I'm from Serbia, Europe, and I've been following this channel for a while now, as all these topics are quite foreign to me :D I hope that these examples are extremes, and that most people don't identify with them because I believe it's essential for everyone to have their place in society, and mixing our biological "roles" isn't good for either men or women. I don't want to become pregnant, and I feel a strong need to provide all the care to my wife and children, to let my wife be a mother who will have all my support in fulfilling her role as a mother, which will make me a very happy father and husband :D Playing with words won't bring happiness or a healthy attitude towards other people to anyone. If you see a pregnant "man" on the street, YOU KNOW IT'S A WOMAN... not a single word will ever change that.

Unfortunately it's a social contagion and growing rapidly in the states with the help of mainstream media 😕 and the left. It's the lefts goal to destroy all that is good and natural in this world by saying it's bad. Hopefully the contagion doesn't spread to Serbia anytime soon. 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! This reminds me of Peter Griffin trying to breastfeed Stewie. Straight up cruel and sick to do that to a child. Anyway...Their so called inclusive terms is excluding women as well as devaluing and excluding our own experiences. If anything can be anything then why are they trying so hard to transition with the gender they identify as let alone be recognized/associated and treated as said gender. Their xy chromosome is showing thinking they can be women and some are so delusional they've even said they think they can be a better woman.

I agree with you completely. There have always been feminine men and masculine women, but they were just that. They didn’t say they were now a woman or a man. Our society has taken a wrong turn and needs to get back on course. I will never allow a man in a women’s rest room, gym locker room or other place with me!

With all due respect, I can assure you that you have shared a public restroom with trans women without even realizing it, because those of us who are actually diagnosed with gender dysphoria, and chemically castrate ourselves growing breast tissue from hormone replacement therapy rather than just cheap breast implants, getting excruciating electrolysis from heart to toe, we pass because we are able to assimilate into cisheteronormative society behaving like and dressing and speaking like cis women. The woke activists on social media are not actual medical transsexuals. They are autogynophiles which is completely separate from who we are and how we navigate society. I promise you, we're not merely 0.01% of the population, we don't stand upright to urinate, not even in the privacy of our own homes. We don't fetishize menstruation pregnancy abortion menopause etc, and we're actually grateful that we don't have to endure those additional hardships when we are already the victims of systemic genocide as defined by UN criteria. Also, there has never been and there never will be, a practical way to enforce gender based bathroom legislation, because plenty of cisgender women develop facial hair, and biologically intersex people physically exist on this earth. Born out the womb with genitalia and chromosomes that do not match the XX AFAB/XY AMAB binary system. Their biological existence is not a debate or question, and it's unconstitutional to deny any and/or all intersex people from using public restrooms. Bathroom laws are never going to actually happen. The sooner cis people accept that reality, the sooner they can be happy in life and develop a hobby.

I am an older gal; I was quite the tomboy growing up. I DID NOT want to be a boy, but I liked a lot of boyish things & sports (& I my day & age, there were hardly any women’s sports in middle & HS & what did exist were predominantly intramural only). I’m so glad I didn’t grow up now where folks would try & convince me I am a boy!! No no no!! I eventually matured, started liking looking like a girl etc . . But for my entire life I am still an outdoorsy, get my hands dirty in the yard, target practicing, rough & tumble kind of gal. For many years I was “one of the guys” . . The lone female in a group of guys! Just saying. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. They were my friends & protectors . . But I never wanted to be a guy . . .

If gender is literally anything you want it to be, then can we please go back to just 2 genders where a man is a man and a woman is a woman. Without people constantly telling me their sexual Orientation or what they identify as. Because that's what I want!

It's more complex, since gender is defined by chromosomes. You must change the chromosomes to change gender.

To me this gender nonsense just feels like a different way to make little Johnny conform to what we feel he should be. We used to force him to play football and do other "manly" things to make him act "manly"; now we chemically castrate him and them give him catastrophic plastic surgery so we can attempt to physically realize the little girl he always must have been inside. We aren't any kinder to the little tomboy Suzy. And it's really sad how sick society is becoming over this.

That is the most laughably confusing part of all of this. On the one hand, we're told that both little Johnny and little Susie are entirely subjective, and by definition they have to essentially be reduced down to something like an aesthetic or an external cosmetic so they can switch places. Little Johhny and little Susie, to become each other, have to be reduced down to a "skin" that can be changed or replaced with literally anything. Except once little Johnny and little Susie have been convinced and conditioned to believe that they can completely switch places, suddenly Susie-who-was-Johnny and Johnny-who-was-Susie are supposed to be considered as if they actually are now by definition new Johnny and new Susie. And the other little Johnnies and Susies are then told that new John and new Susie are exactly the same as they are, if not even better, more moral, because they "chose" to be Johnny and Susie, the rest were just "birthed" that way by their "birthing unit and life partners". For the sake of translation of one to the other, they have to both entirely be subjective concepts, but once they complete the process, suddenly they are solid objective concepts that must be referred and treated as the solid objective concepts they just proved aren't solid objective concepts. That they themselves didn't believe were solid objective concepts, or else they wouldn't have undergone the transition of one to the other. But the rest of us "birthed" Johnnies and Susies are the ones who don't understand. We understand perfectly well, it's just we disagree, as a matter of principle, if not on the basis of factual definition. A = A B = B A cannot be B B cannot be A At most they can resemble each other to the point we don't notice, but they never actually become each other. By definition. And to be entirely honest, it's usually more often that the A wanting to be B is the more talked about and obvious problem, because A can be suffering from a sexual dysfunction, call itself B, and then demand special pleadings for itself to be granted access to B and exclusionary exclusive rights and privileges reserved to protect and ensure justice and equality for B.

It's a radical reboot of gay conversion therapy. "Can't turn them straight? Pump them full of hormones and chop bits off them to make them acceptable some other way. Heck, they might even kill themselves if we mess them up enough." As a gay man who believes childhood is a precious time in a person's life, to be protected and nurtured, I find all this horrifying.

Being called Cis and chest feeder, birthing person, and etc hurts women actually. Having bio men in bathrooms, locker rooms, and prison has HURT WOMEN IN VARIOUS WAYS physically, mentally, and emotionally! Not all trans people are criminals but some are, and some men use the trans thing to prey on women.
