The war did not start on the 7th of October. The war began in 1948, when the Jews stole Palestinian lands and committed hundreds of massacres against the Palestinians. Hamas did not prevent the immigration of citizens, and Israel even bombed the evacuation route for innocent civilians, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of them. Did Can you say that Hamas prevented them? Also, you cannot say that the Palestinians should immigrate, because this is their homeland and they cannot abandon it. As for the hostages, they were kidnapped as a bargaining chip and nothing more. They were not harmed or raped, but were treated in the best way, and you can verify this from the interviews. TV shows with Israeli prisoners, while Israel tortured and raped the prisoners
