It's a'ight... you were in shock... it happens to a lot of us, first time... kinda like boxer syndrome/brain turns to mush, etc. Worst part for me is, well, go to 4:27 (your vid) .. see her looking over her shoulder/not singing... that is almost the exact visage of my high school sweetie. If you want to evaluate her stamina, listen to her cover of Queen Of The Reich: it was after a one of their concert, I believe at the end of a tour or toward the end. The band went to a pub where there was a karaoke. She stepped on the stage and sang that beast of a song. There's the video of this performance, is a little bit low video quality, but the audio is fine.

I can tell you that she can do this live too. The first time I saw Unleash the Archers was at a 300 capacity club in Western Canada and they were amazing. This song gave me absolute goosebumps and still does every time I hear it. I listened to her warm-up and that in itself was totally wow.

And Brittney Slayes another one haha She said in an interview, that when she belts/mixes those high notes, she pictures it as a nail shooting through her soft palate to get that tone you were speaking of. ... and that's just one song... they'll do 12-18 in set, and she rarely gets a verbal 'break'. Someone else said; 'she is a weapon'.... I think it was Julia... she would share that, I'm sure... go ahead and steal it. The whole band is insanely talented, but Brit can knock bats out of the sky at night, bring whales to the surface, and make the mechanic at yer local brake-shop wince in pain. And she's just the nicest person in her online interviews. LOVED your honest-face reaction, btw. The surprise and shock are common. You do some of the best.

#1 Band in Canada in 2021 won a Juno our Grammies they so freaking good I have been stat mongering them lately lol watching charts and traditional radio tracks. Considering radio now a days rarely even play todays hits even regardless they say they do but it's like a 20 year old song not all stations but a lot. Pick your jaw off the floor! It'll get lost with all the other first time reacters jaws. Brittany is the best at that specific thing she's doing here(it's kind of hard to define what it is and how she's best but she is best) I think part of what sets her apart from say Floor Jansen is the band's raw energy. Her breath control is 2nd to none, and yes she can do it live over a whole concert. This is often the LAST song of the night. And she has done opera, though she's not trained for it.
