Best eBay Listing Method That We Always Use | & Why We Use It

$9.99 sales are some of my favorite, they're in that affordable enough range for collector's that they usually buy multiple common items from me in place of a single rare item. I just did a weird selection of one off books, I photographed 127 books with my phone and it took me over an hour. Not to mention the time it's going to take me to list them as well. I tend to list at night when we're sitting on the couch watching tv, or if I'm cooking supper when I got down time im listing those items, I use my time as wisely as I can and that is one of the main reasons it succeeds. Just because I'm enjoying myself and watching a movie does not mean I shouldn't be improving my business. All of the books/whatever the items I'm planning to sell that day, stay in a bin that I keep next to me when I sit down, just so I can write a quick description of the flaws. Just before I go to bed for the night, I'll put the items where I designated them in the Sku and rinse and repeat. Some days it's hundreds of listings up, some days it's only 50ish. It's just easier to sit there and take all of the photos first, I used to take the photos, list it right after, and repeat and let me tell you that's so much less enjoyable.

Any type of collectible I always charge for shipping. It seems most people expect to pay for shipping on collectible items as opposed to other categories like clothes and shoes that many people expect free shipping.

My son groups into categories. To get stuff up faster. He'll sometime make affordable bundles of 20-30$ if theres low priced items. He sells mostly hot wheels and figures. We charge shipping for everything unless its very expensive and depending the item. We also ship international. Half our sales come from other countries. Especially old coins and disney items. Excellent food for thought, but there's still one problem that others can't easily solve: - Having reliable sources for all these old & easily shipable and photographable collectibles. If you have not already, you might consider doing a generalized tutorial on sourcing (not giving away your own sources.) Locally, I don't think I have any good affordable sources for such items.

I look at the $9.99 in an even simpler way. If I sell an item for $9.99, lets say the shipping is a wash, and I bought it for $1 even. I say it all the time......I put a dollar bill on the table and walk away. I come back to find $7 in its place. Oh, and I most likely enjoyed the process or I wouldn't have done it again. Hello?

The rules say "Take recorded footage from your favorite movies or TV shows, set these edited scenes to your favorite music" . So do a sourcing video without commentary (show flash cards or text) and make a music soundtrack to it from your own record collection. Driving music going to the place. Exciting music for good purchases. And other music for average buys. .

Why would ebay be charging both buyer and seller for shipping cost? Been selling for over a year. about 4 sales only. Once I got an offer from ebay for a mother of pearl box, seller to pay shipping cost reducing my cost to 20.00 this left me no profit. rejected the offer. I don't do prompting listing. Sellers are not getting any benefits from the cost Maybe that explains the double dipping . Hey auction professor I recently came into possession of a library of books mostly history, war, and hundreds of legal books. I looked up one of the law books for lawyers and it goes for about $900. 00. My question is what site would be the best to list legal books. These books are in great condition even though some of them are 5 to 15 years old. Your input would be greatly appreciated

Sometimes law books are outdated or should I say they are not updated with new laws passed. When i studied to be a paralegal i purchased alot of legal books (outdated and current law books) for study and references. It would also depend if they are covering a certain state laws or federal laws. If I were you I would sell them separately however do your research on each book and sell and list accordingly. I hope this helps you out some.

He has sourcing videos, and talks about it in a ton of videos. It's almost always about buying it all in bulk, depending on where you live, requires research to the best places to source. You could talk to the local churches for old sheet music/Bible's, among other stuff. You could try and talk to theatres for old movie memorabilia. You could talk to very old businesses about acquiring old what they would consider junk items. It's an endless stream of possibilities, and requires endless amounts of research and reaching out.

If i sort out a lot of slides and know what town region or country they are i can get 50 online in 1 hour with a hole punched shoebox with a light in it,a toilet paper roll,a cell phone,and a slide sorter tray to rifle them out like a conveyor belt. If i dont do them 1 at a time i get mixed up.
