Bought a tin of the Tesco one yesterday. Had it this afternoon with some basmati rice. It was quite nice. I'm not sure eating these things without rice is a good idea. When I do my next food shop I will get loads of them for my rainy day cupboard.

I've tried both - and others. You're being very charitable. I'd be hard put to judge the best - they were both equally disgusting. I'm also very cautious about processed 'meat' products, especially in tins. Sometimes it's enough of a shock simply reading the list of ingredients.

The chicken they put in these tins has the strangest texture! Really tough. The vegetable varieties are not so bad, though now you've likened them to soup, that's definitely all I can think of them as hahah

Better off making your own curry like Indian style can’t beat a lovely Indian curry. I’ve got the recipe from a friend of mine when I cook this chicken vindaloo, the whole street can smell it better than the smell from any takeaway brilliant😛

British Tinned Curry! Hey this was cool!!! I Have always been curious when bowling down the supermarket isles but i'm not adventurous enough to try these, looks like cat food. Nice to know I'm not missing much, though lol:)

Could you try Iceland frozen curry please? They have a purple cardboard sleeve and cost about £1.79.I am eating the Madras...hot.I am having it with Uncle Bens spicy Mexican rice and English chips.
