The best part about Callums "transformation" sequence is how much his mount is in on it too. I generally love how much my opinions on Virens children change throughout the seasons. When Rayla was stuck in ice Viren said “another moonshadow elf to add to my collection”. That made me think, what if Rayla’s parentes didn’t die. 22:28 This one of the most heartbreaking moments in the show. She told him not to make her choose, so he just says goodbye and leaves. This just triggers her abandonment issues and pushes her into a full siege mentality. Getting abandoned by her brother that she gave up so much for would have destroyed her. When her parents separated she chose to stay with Soren instead of going with her mother, and she never really recovered from her mother leaving. Soren leaving her too is probably, in her mind, the worst thing that ever happened to her.

I feel for Claudia like she grew up in a household where her parents argued all the time to the point where her mother and father made her choose and when she couldn't her mother just left. This obviously gave Claudia abandonment issues to the point of she just needs a family and a family has a parent so it makes sense that she would choose her father she needs a parent she needs guidance but she also wants soren to be with her Claudia isn't a bad person she just makes bad decisions that got her into a point of no return and that is a very relatable thing that happens to everyone

@@Compucles You must have misunderstood me I wasn't saying that her mother never gave her a choice nor did i say Claudia had it worse than other kids of divorce which btw really shouldnt be comparing which kids of divorce got it worse its all bad and mentally traumatising, Claudia did have a choice but she couldn't choose she wanted both of them so when Soren picked their father her mother wanted them to stay together so she let Claudia go with her father. I shortened the sentence because i didnt want 5 lines of something that was obvious but you challenged me so here I am making perfectly clear of what i was saying if there are any other inaccuracies let me know.

tdp is basically the only fandom i've been in since the beginning and oh my god, i love watching people react to shows i love! i'm not sure if someone's commented this yet, but there's a graphic novel that takes place between books 3 and 4 called 'Through The Moon'! i really recommend you read it!

So heres a fun fact. The guy that Rayla spared in the beginning is the same dude that tossed his sword down first and is the dude that just said his name at the end of the batter. The fandom gave him that name and the creators took the feedback and made it canon.

They released an outline of the whole series at comic con a few years ago. Seasons 1-3 are the first act of the story. Seasons 4 and 5 will be the middle act and seasons 6 and 7 are the final act. So I’m assuming the storyline that was teased at the end of season 3 will last through season 5, then season 5 will tease the final story arc that will last the last two seasons.
