Long ago the doctor suspected that I had a slight kidney problem and scheduled contrast dies. Luckily I read the pamphlet that said contrast dies could cause kidney failure. So I informed the nurse that no way would I sign the consent form to check for the possibility of a slight kidney problem and end up with a high probability of kidney failure. Many years have gone by and my kidney function is still OK.

I’ve got a double strike. Two decades of high dose ibuprofen and losartan has probably taken a toll. Dropped it way down and lost a lot of weight and cleaned up my diet and exercise every day for the last 3 years. However a persistent left scapula/rib pain that started in 2021 and the high stress of the last year has thrown me back on the meds no matter what alternatives I try. 😢 would be nice to have an md who would work with me instead of against me. My chiropractor dr is a nutritionist too but can’t afford too many visits since he doesn’t take Medicare. Just not sure what to do. Ice is my 4am companion every night and lots of bio freeze. The more sun the better as long as there isn’t awful heat with it.

My doctors prescribe sooooo many meds and when I have side effects, they want to prescribe MORE meds to treat the side effects... I said no. If they are adding a medication, they need to remove a medication. Not just add and add and add.

@@AdamJStoryDC Hi Doctor . I’m thinking high quality organic multivitamin. You think vitamins are okay for kidney health. Thank you 🙏

You mentioned Losartin being bad for the kidneys. Is Valsartin just as bad? Hubby is on Amlodopine and Valsartin for blood pressure. Recent near kidney failure due to enlarged prostate blockage. Had TURP surgery after kidney numbers improved tremendously. Hope these BP meds don’t cause kidney damage again.

My brother in law was bi-polar. He was taking prescribed lithium for many years, and even though he drank gallons of water he had to under go dialysis. He had to endure this until he died in a hospital due to asphyxiation. 😭

And you can use a good salt. If you come on the ER with high bloodpressior, than you get a IV with natrium to lower the bloodpression. And if it is still to high afther one bag you get a second one. And each bag has 9 grams of natrium (salt.) If you have high bloodpressior, lower the carbs that you eat. Sinds i eat the carnivore way (very low carbs and high in good fat), i do not need insulin anymore, no high BP medication and i feel great. Seedoils are very bad, just as margarine and halvarine. So change your eating and see what it wil do for you.
