I've said before, and I'll repeat it, I'm not too fond of Feligami because it's Adrigami but the way Kagami wanted her relationship with Adrien to be because Felix does check the boxes as the perfect boyfriend for Kagami, which is one of the reasons why she's attracted to him other than him, and Adrien looking the same does not help either knowing her feelings for Adrien before so to her it a win-win which is highly unhealthy. Also to me, it doesn't surprise me that Kagami told Felix that Marinette is Ladybug without her consent because we saw in Heart Hunter how willing she is to end her friendship with Marinette if it means being with Adrien; I do understand that Kagami does not have a good impression of love and craves it as her mother doesn't give it to her, I hope later in season 6 Kagami understand what love is and self-reflects about her relationship with Felix. And speaking about Kagami telling Marinette's secret, Kagami had no right to do that. At the same time, Kagami might see it as a way to get the love story she wanted and to make up for what happened in Protection by mindlessly attacking Marinette because Lila manipulated her; it doesn't change anything. She should've talked with Marinette first; it proves that Kagami is not a true friend and is ready to see the bad in Marinette, too, by doing this. But it doesn't change anything that happened in Protection because if it were me in this situation, I would've put my friendship with Kagami on hold and see if I still wanted to be friends, but if I learned that she told someone my secret without consent, then that friendship is over. I love your analysis and am excited to see what else you have planned. As for the episode, I am indifferent to it because you're right. There is a lot of potential to the sent-being storyline, and Adrien discovering the truth which can lead to an interesting story arc. Maybe season 6 focuses more on Adrien and how he sees everyone treats him like this porcelain doll that needs protection but doesn't anymore.

Okay so being in a question of life and death, this is what everyone remembers about!!!??? Who told u that she loves Felix for his perfect side or something, she loved Adrien just for the same reason CN fall in love with LB. That being isolation and not having friends and so falling in love. Kagami claims Adrien to be perfect because that's how it is, even Mari said that. We saw tomoe in I think oni Chan to say something like 'u r sure u deserve Adrien'. Also what kagami said in miracle queen was meant to be taken as fighting for her own rights even Mari does that. Tomoe actually made kagami believe that there are "so alike" (kagami herself said that) and meant to be but only for her to find out that Adrien isn't really interested and inspite Adrien's being controlling life like her, he cares about someone else. While she was lying to be with him, he was lying to go saway from her and she thought he likes Mari instead. She fall in love with Felix, who was actually interested in her, care about her that he just kidnapped her to protect her (the way she lied for being with Adrien) and went to extreme lengths for her. He returned her ring to her which while giving to tomoe she looked pretty upset.

One thing I don't get about the episode is Marinette's reaction to learning that Adrien is a sentibeing. The obvious thing is that if Adrien and Felix are sentibeings and were created by the usage of the peacock miraculous it must mean that someone in their family must've owned it. I mean , it is actually told to her that they in fact did. That Emily and Gabriel owned the peacock miraculous. However, for some reason Marinette doesn't connect the dots , she doesn't even get suspicious for a few seconds. I don't even recall a scene of her wondering if maybe someone from the Agreste family could potentially know something about Monarch or about the miraculouses. And Marinette is a very intelligent character and a quick-thinker too. As a hero her main goal is to defeat her enemy. Yet she gets a very crucial information that could help her discover her enemies identity and we don't even have a moment of suspicion from her. And it just doesn't sound like Marinette. This scene honestly felt so out of character for me.

Though I loved the episode I genuinely agree with you that Adrien deserves to know his past. Why is he shown so innocent and foolish? The thing I relate the most to Adrian is innocence and they are making fun of it. I am sorry this issue is in the finale to will tell in that analysis.

I'm 100% with you on senti-Kagami. I love Kagami, but her being senti has no sense and it was made only to make her possible to connect with Felix. Her connection to Felix was essential, so he can learn from her that Marinette is Ladybug, have reason to trust her and in the result tell Marinette his backstory. For me senti-Kagami and Feligami is only for making this theatre scene, thats it. I have mixed feelings about this season. First half of the season was great, but middle had moments I didn't liked and somewhere around Collusion everything started to collapse. And I think that the reason is that there was simply too little time to develop everything. In previous seasons pacing was super slow, writers were: "take it slow, we have plenty of time to tell everything", and when season 5 started they were "omg, its season 5 already?! Quick, quick, there is so much to tell!". This rush is especially visible in season's climax. I think that show would benefit more from squeezing seasons 2 and 3 together - because they tell basically the same story beat of Master Fu teaching Marinette how to be a guardian - while current season 5 could be extended into two seasons. I got an impression that at the begining writers have time of their life that they finally can tell the events they planned for so long - so why not to introduce it earlier and have fun for longer? I'm sure that many of story points which came out of nowhere would benefit, it there was more time for it. But that's just my opinion.

Loved the video, i actually took notes as well season 5 just felt like a poorly written fan fic, and while félix is my no.1 character i can’t hate him as the writers just butchered his character arc, he is shown to be so sweet with his mother and shows signs of care for his cousin, but then is also played out as a jerk but he always is the catalyst to change the direction in the story, so it’s just really conflicted. I’m actually down bad for feligami like u said ON PAPER it sounds like an absolute power couple and Kagami to me she seems very-head strong and i feel like she wouldn’t fumble for a boy like that but she did but i refuse to think that’s her character. Also can i just complain how i literally hate how Adrien keeps gettting shoved to the corner, Not to spoil the finale but since you already know, 1. he gets left in the dark about chat blanc 2. He’s treated as a sidekick and not an equal holder 3. Now the finale is out he’s being left in the dark about his father AND being conceived thru the peacock miraculous I feel like the writers are trying to set him up to have a massive fall out with mari and bring out unsettling angst that we really don’t want. I agree. Felix Fathom (despite being an interesting character and compelling anti-hero) is a walking double standard. Chloe is bad but the main reason why I prefer her over Felix is at least she faces some sort of consequences for most of her bad deeds while Felix gets away with his deeds. What's worse than a villain is a villain that gets away with his bad deeds and is forgiven despite not apologizing properly. These are just my thoughts though

Great Video ❤❤❤There are two possible reasons why Kagami was made a senti by the writers. 1. To make Felix look more redeemable like you said in the video. The writers wanted to pair them up together so they could make Felix likeable and make the audience forget about the bad things he's done. They had to make Kagami a senti otherwise Felix wouldn't have shown any interest in her and wouldn't have fallen in love with her since he is a senti supremacist. 2. The writers are going to portray all the rich kids of Senti because they like of idea of a rich people cult among Paris's elites. This could tie into Tomoe and Gabriel's alliance. If that is the case, then either Zoe or Chloe or both are possibly senti because they come from a wealthy family and the bourgeois family seems to have a past history with the Agrestes, just like the Tsurugi's Also, another thing that has been on my mind recently is the double standards between Felix and Chloe when it comes to redemption arcs, parental abuse and relationships. If Chloe is being portrayed as irredeemable and sets the bar for who can and cannot get redeemed then Felix, who IMO is worse, shouldn't get one either (This applies to Gabriel as well). Especially since Felix also never apologised or properly repented for his misdeeds These are just my thoughts so stay respectful :)

I said it before and I'll stand by it. As much as I love Miraculous..... this season was far too cramped and way too rushed as a whole. I totally get what you mean by not being able to get invested in the multiple storylines. If they stood alone and had enough time to develop, they would have been amazing to watch. Which is why I'm still thinking that Season five would have worked better and the story would flow easier if it was split in two seasons. I'm not even necessarily saying that it's poorly written.Far from it. It's more that, there was too much story left to tell and too little time to do so to give it justice. And that's the sad part about it.

Yes I've been saying it since the beginning of season 5 that it's probably gonna feel extremely rushed and that's exactly how it felt. Everything happened too fast and we didn't even get time to process the very last two episodes. LIKE WTF WAS THE ENDING?!?! It was so bad. It was worse than I could've ever imagined. Honestly even I would've done a better job with the ending... I mean first of all I would've made it so that Adrien finds out about his dad being a freaking super-villain... like how dare you make Adrien and the whole Paris think Gabriel was a hero???? And I absolutely hate that Gabriel got what he wanted. Did we really just watch 5 seasons of Gabriel terrorizing Paris and torturing his son for him to get exactly what he wanted?!?! Yeah all in all the ending was horrible, but honestly the whole season was so rushed and it got annoying at times. We needed more time to get invested in the storylines we were presented with in this season.

To be fair, Felix might have decided to create the Sentimonster Once Upon a Time because there was simply no other way to get the info to Marinette without tipping her off that they knew her identity or risking a third party also finding out, while he had other ways of dealing with Matagi Gozen and could count on Ladybug and Cat Noir to help. Plus I think Félix perceived the creation of Once Upon a Time as a necessity to give Marinette the full picture she needed, unlike when he created Red Moon, which he did to enact revenge on his uncle and every one he perceived as being a tyrant, Once Upon a Time which he created to help Marinette stop Monarch by showing the truth, Adrien’s and Felix’s family origins, and Gabriel’s true identity as Monarch.

Thank you for another great video. I agree strongly with most of it. MLB usually does a great job with characters but it has made of mess of three of them: Sabrina, Gabriel, and Felix. I think you do a good job at showing what they are trying to do with Felix, but I agree that overall the show doesn't seem to treat Felix in a consistent manner. I don't like how Feligami was developed either, but I think it is realistic if you consider Felix as a rebound type relationship and the fact that Kagami likes assertive people. It lowers my view about Kagami, but I think that it is consistent with her character and nobody is perfect. I understand you being bothered by the chaos of the new story lines. But chaos has never bothered me and I don't need everything wrapped up. One of my favorite authors mentioned that when he completed his work he made certain to leave a major plot twist that would not be answered because he felt that if everything was wrapped up nicely then the story would have died. I feel much the same way about MLB. Even without knowing that there is more to come I like the fact that there are a lot of unanswered questions. It makes it seem that the world is still there even when the last episode is written.

I think the reason why Adrien is still left in the dark about being a sentimonster is that the writers are building up for a bigger reveal. Many people have forgotten that Lila stole information from Natalie not too long ago about the twin rings. I'm willing to bet that she is going to try and use that info to her advantage. While keeping secrets gave an advantage for our heroes when fighting against Hawkmoth, it may end up being their doom against this new enemy who is a master at manipulation and lying. Just imagine what would happen if Lila got ahold of the twin rings and found out that Adrien is Cat Noir. He wouldn't be in control of his powers anymore and it'll be his worst nightmare to come to life. He wouldn't even know or understand why. It'll also equal the playing field a bit now that there is an abundance of new superheroes and add more conflict and drama within the story. But hey that's just my prediction on what's to come. If it doesn't happen then maybe I'll write a fanfic of it or something? 🤷

I have so much to say regarding this episode and this video. Ok so first of all I wanna talk about Felix and Kagami. Although I get what you mean by their relationship also being kinda rushed, I think Felix and Kagami are super cute together. I love how their personalities compliment each other and as I am a hopeless romantic, I love the forbidden love trope with these two so freaking much. I do think that it was weird and unlike Kagami to trust Felix so fast and with information like Ladybug's identity. It just felt wrong. And I seriously don't like how they made Kagami look like this damsel in distress needing to tell Felix everything like girl- that just doesn't feel like something she would do... it's so out of character for her. Now I wanna discuss how everything this season was so freaking rushed. I don't understand why they couldn't have started with some of these things already in season 3 or something. Why did they have to leave everything on the very last minute. It's definitely the main thing I hate about season 5 and kinda the main thing I hate about this whole show, their time management is horrible. It's so bad. Now I REALLY wanna discuss Felix. I love him as a character and even though I do agree his introduction episode was so bad, I also think Felix as a character overall is incredibly well written and I can't say that about mlb basically ever. I think how you described Felix was exactly the way I would and I agreed with everything, especially 11:22 where you talked about how Adrien has everything Felix doesn't. Adrien has his innocence, friends and unawareness about who he actually is (a sentibeing). Felix definitely wishes that he had those things as well. I honestly feel so bad for Felix and well Adrien too, but because Adrien doesn't even know about his dad being a villain (instead of a hero) and Adrien doesn't know about him being a sentibeing, I don't feel as bad for him. Right now he feels like there's literally nothing wrong with his life. Maybe the only sad feeling he feels is the fact he has no parents now, but he also just thinks his dad saved Paris so I don't really know how to take that. I really went off the tracks here, sorry. I think it's so cute of Felix to try and protect Adrien by not telling him he's a sentibeing, but I also don't agree with Felix keeping it to himself. I think Adrien deserves to know all the things that are being kept as a secret from him. Yes it would probably destroy him, but he needs to know. He can't live his whole life unaware about himself and his father... I mean I guess he can. I would prefer it if he eventually found out about all of it though, maybe in the next season? Wow I didn't even realize, but you're right... Adrien not finding out about any of this is him being left in the dark once again. It's like in season 4 when Cat Noir was being pushed away and then we all hoped that in season 5 they will be equal and there won't be any favoring between Ladybug and Cat Noir aka Marinette and Adrien, but I guess we were stupid to hope so. In season 5 Cat Noir and Adrien are both left out and casually in the background most of the season. And in the season finale Cat Noir isn't even a part of defeating Monarch!!! Instead Adrien is being tortured by Gabriel until the very last minute so he can't be a part of the final fight with Ladybug. And I guess I kinda understand why they did that (so that Adrien wouldn't find out about his dad), but at the same time NO. I do not like this ending, I do not like Adrien/Cat Noir being left out once again. I thought the black cat miraculous and the ladybug miraculous were supposed to be equal, guess I was wrong. At the end of season 4 I really believed they could redeem leaving Cat Noir out and make them equal with Ladybug in season 5, but I should've known it was too much for the mlb creators to actually include the other main character in some of the main storyline. Overall as you could probably tell, I didn't like the ending. It could've been SO MUCH better.

I don't think so that the holders feelings can affect the senti's morals stating that sentibug was very very ready to help LB and after getting her amok, she didn't betrayed her, so I think emotions just state how they will look like and their powers and since colt was thinking about Adrien cause he was jealous, Felix looks exactly like him, it's magic and not coincidence, colt may not have had done it intentionally.

In Feast it was stated that Feast went out of control because Fu's hunger mixed with his anger, but sentimonsters before and after that haven't shown that trait. I would have preferred it if this still were the case and it would put a new spin on Felix. It's one thing if he has to overcome the trauma he suffered, but it would be another if he were magically inclined to be jealous and that he'd have to fight against his own self not to be that way.

I thought the differences was Felix breaking out of the emotion that made him (jealousy) and by the time we saw I’m in Gabriel agreste he was the version we see today and that emotion of jealousy is still there in the form of his anti hero persona (however Felix’s amok is in his ring that originally belonged to colt not the twin rings the twin rings are technically one ring that can be separated into 2 and Felix tried to get it to free him but he realised that both of them were needed and he needed to get the peacock miraculous to prevent being destroyed at all).

When Felix saw Kagami in Emotion, he gasped and looked down at her ring. In Feast it was established that the holder of the peacock miraculous can detect amoks because Nathalie gasped when she first saw the statue that was actually the sentimonster that Master Fu had created because she could detect the amok, which Feast had swallowed. Also, in Perfection Tomoe got very mad at Gabriel for sending an akuma into Kagami's ring, which would make sense if there was an amok there.

The sentimonster storyline is good but I could see why you didn’t enjoy it. Oh not only that but for kagami being a sentimonster makes absolutely no sense. We didn’t even see her backstory on how she was created so that was definitely a lazy writing choice there.

Okay, I took the time a while ago to reflect on this episode, and it certainly has a lot of issues. Sure, it looks visually appealing and the sentibeing storyline flashback was really good and it really helped to flesh out Félix’s character more, but that is where the positivities end. To address the elephant in the room, I really don’t like Félix and Kagami in this episode. Félix’s redemption arc is just not so great. He has done really bad things such as giving the Miraculous over to Gabriel (along with one of the rings which technically gives more control over Adrien), and pretty much committed worldwide genocide. Making morally grey decisions is fine since he is suppose to be a morally grey character, but if they want to give him a redemption arc, he needs to see the consequences of his actions, express remorse, and try to make things right. As someone who loves redemption arcs, I would have loved to see his development, but like the recent redemption arcs they tried, they skipped the important development. Heck, in this episode, he technically was being, in my opinion, manipulative by trying to convince Marinette to help him by telling him the full story and giving her what would push her to help them. After all, helping Félix equals to also helping Adrien to be free and finally defeating Monarch and getting the Kwamis. It just makes it feel icky. And sadly, Kagami was no better. Kagami told Félix, who she should know betrayed Ladybug, who is suppose to be her best friend, and she decided to not only convince everyone Félix is just misunderstood without calling out his behavior, but also help to ‘convince’ Marinette to help take out Gabriel (and by extension her mom but she never mentioned her for some reason, so…). If anything, it felt like this episode, Kagami was more or less doing it for herself rather to help her supposed close friends that are hurt. She doesn’t care that Adrien is being controlled and abused by his father, who is a supervillain who has put his life in danger multiple times. She doesn’t care that Marinette is Ladybug and that all this information could benefit her and help finally defeat the terrorist who’s been terrorizing everyone, including her. This is even worse because it undos the established relationships emphasized in Protection. I will admit that when it was revealed Kagami was also a sentibeing, I didn’t genuinely cared about it. Maybe it’s because we were more explored on Adrien and Félix’s storyline and it definitely connects more to the overarching narrative. Meanwhile, the arranged marriage, Tomoe having been an ally of Gabriel’s, and Kagami being a sentibeing were all revealed literally this season, which at this point we already had like years of investment with the current storylines, including the sentibeing storyline. You do raise some good points, and I think it would have been better if Kagami wasn’t a sentibeing. I mean, it doesn’t really add anything to the story except bring her to the sentibeing storyline and get her together with Félix, and even the latter part makes that off. Félix only really takes interest in Kagami because she is a sentibeing; if she wasn’t, he would no doubt pay no attention to her and snap her out of existence with everyone else. I mean, it would make sense with Félix’s character in my opinion since he wouldn’t be great with romantic relationships. Another issue about this episode is how this is meant to be the penultimate episode to the finale and in general the conclusion/resolution of the first narrative arc. *I’m going to put in a warning for spoilers of the finale, just in case because I will mention them.* Anyway, there are actually a few problems that comes down to this episode. The first issue has to do with the Anti-Cat storyline there. Apparently, this looks like it was meant to be the payoff for the times he attempted to cataclysm people like Damocles and Kim, and see what the consequences of his actions would be, but in reality, this was actually meant to just get Cat Noir out of the way so he isn’t the Final Battle against his own father, which is a huge gripe I have for obvious reasons! The second thing is that the sentibeing storyline is never exactly brought up again or really impacts the story or the Agreste Arc, especially in its conclusion. Next episode, Marinette only goes after Gabriel because of a dream that Monarch initiated (which I did not like personally because it’s just more a reactionary choice Marinette made like the other finales). We don’t see her emotions on the revelation of the sentibeings or see the characters processing it (it also doesn’t help that the writers are trying to make Revolution, Representation, and Conformation happen all right off after one another). I mean, we did see Marinette react to Gabriel being Monarch like this is new information (unless she just didn’t believe until she saw it before her eyes). The third issue is like what you said: there is not enough time to process the informations or see how the characters are reacting to the revelations and impact the story much like we are. It just really makes the episodes feel self-contained, even though the plot is progressing, which I hate as well. For a penultimate episode, this felt really weak. This was the conclusion of the sentibeing storyline, but no resolution and no impact to the overarching narrative or Adrien for that matter. Félix and Kagami’s characters are pretty much butchered here. And it ultimately doesn’t feel it means anything except a way to get Adrien/Cat Noir not in the Final Battle, which he should be! Ugh, but it might not even be the worst episode compared to… *The finale*

(FINALE SPOILERS) at the end of a long rant :) .I thought that most of season five as a whole was petty fine. They fixed some of the problems I had with the show like Mari's weird crush on Adrien and how that was portrayed, and giving cat more development in not being needy all the time and finding reasonable boundaries. but they also creative some tonal clashes that were so bad that it was hard to get invested in the emotion that they were trying to portray. Like example take episode 4 where they have a fever dream about there ideal well, dream, the dream is so weird that I felt nothing at the part I was supposed to get invested in. and its same with so many episode this season. Like this was a problem before, but I don't think it was ever this bad, so many episode came off as flat, and if I'm being honest boring that there are some I don't even remember, and I re-watched the entire season before the finale, and I still don't remember some of them. Then the finale oh boy it's bad very very bad it, as bad as posable it could be, and knowing that this was going to be the end of the show before it was extended make me just so sad like it's just so bad. Like imagine that that was this was end of the show just get rid of the cliffhanger and boom there's the end of (for me) 3 years of your live hope that was worth it (PS IT WAS NOT.) They had better fix this early season 6 because or if not I may just leave because why should I invest more time in to a show and a team who thought that this was the best ending that they could give us. Like I have more questions about what just happened then will ever be answered, and what they did to Mari was so bad like she should not keep this from him it will end badly. and I don't care what it say in the scrips keep a secret like this from him is not a good idea and teaching the younger viewers that this a good thing to do it's not. like somethings yes if told should be keep to your self( like if a friend has a crush on someone or something small like that), but what she is hiding she is letting him live a lie. His dad was not a good parent like Adrien has acknowledge that his dad was bad and letting him think anything else is not wrong but also is terrible message to send. That if a bad person or parent does one good thing they should be complete forgiven for everything they have ever done, and in fact be praised as a hero, and you should want to be just like them. Like NO I know you can't hear the sarcasm I know but if you could that last sentence would be as sarcastic as posable. Like that is so wrong I don't even have the words. Also small tangent here I know this is long I know, but I have a question and if anyone has a good answer to it that be great ok here it goes. Does Adrien forget ever terrible thing that his dad has ever done to make him want to be like his dad? is it the consequences of the wish that he dose? or is is just me who has question about that? Sorry for the long rant but I had some feelings about that finale anyways sorry if this isn't as clear as it could have been, again get out feelings can be messy so hope it was clear enough :)

On the contrary, to apologise to Ladybug, is to regret obtaining his freedom and see her execution of senti's, as feasible. Felix has a long way to go before he can let Ladybug into his inner circle. She's still a trigger happy senti assassin, as needs must for the Guardian. Felix on the other hand, mourned and called the Red Moon, sister, when he had to send her away. In my opinion, an apology would discredit everything he stood for. Which was the well being of senti's. Jealousy also wasn't what drove Felix. In the episode Emotion, he put Adrien and Kagami first. He did it for his cousin and Kagami - to set them free. They thought he meant from controlling parents. He knew their lives were in danger of being snapped out of existence though. We know he hasn't told Adrien of his origin yet, and I'm not convinced he's told Kagami of her origin either. Felix returned a ring that meant a lot to her, and vocalised his disapproval of her mother's excessive control. Which suggests he's still protecting them, in ways a human can never understand. This is not jealousy. This is his attempt (albeit, flawed) of loving them.

I think this season just proved that Miraculous just doesn't know how to write proper redemption arc and just expect us to accept ridiculous ways they choose and want us to forgive horrible people just because. Yeah they expect us to just forgive Felix after everything he did and Ladybug as guardian still let him keep peacock miraculous and even worse - join the team. So Chloe used miraculous for bad things and was doing bad things overal and doesn't deserve to be miraculous holder but all of a sudden Felix deserves to be miraculous holder? Him being senti doesn't make him instantly worthy of guarding peacock miraculous. If it's power is so inmoral then it should just stay with Ladybug and don't be used at all unless world ending emergency happens. Felix already used it to create red moon and destroyed it. Then he created projector. Did he keep projector in his house and wants to keep it working and clean for eternity and call it brother or something? That sounds crazy. Also going back to Kagami being senti. Felix called moon his sister so Kagami isn't technically his sister? He changed rules because she looks hot for him? Smells like incest to me and again going back to Kagami being ,,a sister" in senti world going after Adrien like after her brother now sounds disgusting. Kagami was also really mean to Marinette for a while and was mean to Adrien saying he shouldn't act silly because it's not her type, closing his personality in but suddenly she is like their best friend? I won't even mention how they just killed off Gabriel and made him a ,,hero" so he wouldn't face consequnces of his actions. Nathalie was doing horrible things too and she got away with EVERYTHING just because suddenly she remembered Emilie asking Nathalie to just let Adrien be free and happy. Another questionable redemption arc has Andre because he was doing horrible things even without Chole pushing him to do things. I won't even start on Chleo and her start of redemption and then suddenly going back to being horrible like in season 1 or even worse. Ice cream maker is also toxic person who we thought was good until his ship doesn't happen and turns toxic seeing MariChat and then we are forced to see him as good just because his OTP Adrianette happened? After this season I completly give up on wanting redemption for characters of any kind. Now I don't want redemption arcs at all because they turn horrible and unlogical anyway.

Im sorry to comment again but i rewatched this video and when u was calling out Felix 7:11 i couldnt help but feel embarrassed for him like he is my favourite character but the show has ruined him 😭😭 and i was deeping the s4 finale. Okay so felix managed to save his and adriens life by obtaining the peacock miraculous okay good fairs. He clearly cares for his cousin but is crap at showing it. Ok good. Fairs But what on earth gave him the good idea to think giving his mentally insane uncle the miraculous AND THE TWIN RINGS. Like adrien is far from free which is what felix preaches.. Adriens life was just put into more danger, yes his life was saved so no one can snap him out, but felix just fed into gabriels madness and gave him the power to make Adriens life an even worse version of hell because by the end of the season Gabriel has lost the plot and put his child into a white room- that as u said - IS LITERALLY A MENTAL ASYLUM FOR PUNISHMENT. Like how is that gonna make adrien feel as a character, whats the point of saving his life for him to still be emotionally abused and controlled. OK can't hate, just believe that he was out of his mind but when he got full freedom of him after getting the peacock he came into his mind and decided to help Adrian😂😂😂.OK I'm only kidding. One explaination I can think of is Felix actually didn't knew if it had Adrian's amok. From risk it's clear that he either knew about the ring Nathalie was wearing having an amok or he just guessed it after finding Emily in the basement. Or another explaination might that he was too frightened that what if Gabriel actually uses his mind to threaten him to snap out of existence, and have the yoyo as well as the peacock and for Felix can't tell any thing to amelie, he might ask Felix to give his ring to him and he would then order him to just go back and lie to her mother (given that Adrien in pretension was free to do anything but upstairs, he couldn't go out for which he was disallowed, and so to make his mind loss, he bribed him for miraculouses, not one but 15, + gave the ring that was dear to him for it was used as wedding rings/had the control over Adrien (maybe he knew or he didn't knew about that ring containing amok) + threatened him to reveal everything to Adrien. We all know it's writing point y he did that.

Felix literally KIDNAPS Kagami and she forgives him in like less than an hour?? Like it doesn't matter his intentions at that point- he is so out of touch with how to help people that he hurts almost everyone around him. He needed more time to develop and redeem himself. I know there's a lot going on with Felix, but the way they kick off him and Kagami's romance is possibly the worst way they could have executed it. It makes me so uncomfortable how it's framed, Kagami immediately falling in love with her captor and it being shown as perfectly fine and even healthy. At the very least, I do not believe Kagami would trust him so quickly. (As well as falling for him instantly when she's still processing her feelings for Adrian??) We are literally shown Lila manipulating her just a few episodes ago and her then standing up to her at the end, so why would she assume Felix genuinely cares about her emotions when he literally admits to stalking her. This was such a long ramble sorry. I'm just saying, if they wanted to frame them as a healthy couple, they should have done it another way. Like he could have waited until she got home, and then got her attention to sneak out together and explain his story and empathize with her. Not only would it have been more romantic, but it would have been so much more plausible for Kagami to trust him then. In canon, my man is just dangerously impulsive at best.

It was never clearly states that y did they chose to show it as a play and not just chose to talk to her but if there was any reason (yes power of script😂😂) then how was he going to apologize for his actions. Also everyone is interpreting it as if the writers r stating that Felix is now good or something. He still is the same as he was in emotion and pretension. He does not care for other people cause he sees them differently, after whatever had happened to him, I'm not sure if it is true but somebody stated in the comments that astruc said Felix doesn't see himself as a human and stays away from human affairs and he only joined the heroes team for her. Colt treated him as if Felix was any different so this feeling of him is justifiable (for example if a rabbit bites somebody's hands then the person may develop fear with all rabbits). It's not much time after he got rid of colt. It's not much time after he got rid of colt. He is not going anywhere, he's still learning what to do and what to not [like in emotion he learned that if he will keep fight (forget intent) then this obliviously means that he would be risking to lose even what he has, that can't afford to]. He's still making his morals and it's just a matter of time. For example, marinette took so much time to overcome her one-day trauma caused by Chloe in derision that she can actually say to Adrien that she loves him. She couldn't even hold his hands cause him being friends with Chloe just like Kim in deflagration (which actually looked stupid at first but now I understand it) and derision even she knew Adrien being in love with her and not anything like that. Yet she was making a progress with help of Adrien while it wasn't Adrien's fault at all. In Felix's case the trauma is of 13 years and him not being literally in control of it without realizing it (we don't know was it a real bunny or not and also if colt destroyed it himself or made Felix destroy it himself not if that implied to a real person). Getting out of trauma is not a joke or something very easy. Surely kagami can help him with that given that how learn to keep Mari for Adrien. He did that for Adrien. And in representation he trusted her with the information of his life for his LOVE and TRUST in kagami. Having any feelings for other people might just not sound the sams for him as it sounds to Adrien, kagami and others. there r more seasons that may actually show him progressing in this as since he is there in heroes team so must be helping people.

I'll give a little bit of a different perspective here. All the different plot points, all the disjointed threads and all the unexplained moments have a purpose. And believe it or not this is excellent writing 😜😅 Spoiler warning ⚠️ if you have not seen the end of season 5 stop reading here. So, the end of season 5 is a major shift for the overall story line. So far 5 seasons Gabriel was the big bady and our leeds were in love but apart. But here is the end of season 5 - Adrian and Marinette are together, the wish has been made, Gabriel has been defeated. So every major plot line up to now has been resolved. And that would be great from a writing perspective if this was the last season. But they have said that there will be at least two more seasons. So how do you get people excited for what is to come next?! Well you leave a lot of luse threads. That way you have people wondering, discussing and speculating on what the hell is going on. So even though you have such a neat ending, basically idilik people still can't wait for season 6. I'm positive that all will be explained in do time, we have at least 50 more episodes to go 😂

I disagree with you. Nothing has been resolved. Instead of neatly tying all ends together they left everything hanging loose. Adrien doesn’t know he’s a sentimonster. He thinks his dad was a hero. Ladybug and Cat Noir don’t know each others’ identities yet. Gabriel will probably never know his son was one of his nemeses (unless they bring him back which I doubt they’d execute nicely). It’s like they’re constantly starting new plots but they don’t finish them. I understand wanting to keep some things open for the last few seasons, but leaving everything open for five seasons (because NOTHING has been resolved, except maybe Mari and Adrian dating) only frustrates the audience. It was nice that Gabe found out Mari was Ladybug, but they could’ve done so much more. Maybe even a last scene where Ladybug tells Cat Noir what happened, which would still leave the storyline open on a cliffhanger, but also shows where the story is headed so it doesn’t look like all these storylines are just gonna be neglected

Adrien is a little bit different tho, still he isn't that different. He would probably trust his friends, marinette, his mom, Nathalie maybe (Felix and amelie too) but would take long time to trust anyone else again. Edit- also like marinette said Adrien moved on and so he deserves to be living a life free with all this mess that created and start a new one. Your analysis made me sad. As you mentioned, you 'punched out around episode 20' and it shows. It seems like your heart is no longer beating to the storyline so only your intellectual analysis is left. With it went your sympathy on how hard it is to tell a good, consistent and satisfying story with the huge constraint that must exist for the writers. The episodes are short, the animation expensive (limiting new locations and characters) and the deadlines impossible to meet. Plus, I think, the writers had to change this season a lot after Jag ordered three more seasons. LAST DAY SPOILER ALERT! I'm sure this season would have included 'the reveal' and probably Andrien having to confront that his dad was evil, etc. Andrienette would have looked differently too. Maybe that Andrienette actually happened has changed your perception of the show? After all, the love square was the reason you were still watching it, right? Now that most of the initial drama is over and they are a sweet couple, your reason for enjoying the show ended? As for the episode, I really enjoyed it. I thought the play that Kagami and Felix put on was an interesting twist and full of metaphor. For example, the grandparents were not literally the king and queen of the UK, but were from an old aristocratic family. Colt (the gun that won the west) Fathom was not a general in an army but a rich businessman from the southwest USA ( probably a Texas oil man?) as the imaginary shows the mechanical bull and cowboy hats. Also watching Cat Noir finally getting to say all the things he wanted to his father, while beating the crap out of him, was a good companion story element. Hope the magic rekindles in your heart for this series, because your videos have always been great! Thanks

Please don’t come into my comment section making assumptions about me and speculating why I mentally clocked out of season 5 by episode 20. If you paid attention to my video, I specifically said because I dislike the direction the season took and felt that a bunch of storylines have been tossed in, leaves me hardly any time to emotionally invest. It has nothing to do with adrienette so don’t assume I’m only watching the show for the love square when I actually watch the show for every other aspect (the lore etc.)) disagreeing with my opinion is fine but respectfully… I don’t actually care if my video made you sad for reasons YOU decided to perpetuate in YOUR mind. My love for miraculous is eternal regardless of whether it disappoints me here and there and I’ll continue to make videos during the next narrative arc. Thank you
