Amaury has the most beautiful speaking voice. He needs to do books on tape or a Podcast to show off his speaking.....
@debshaw6803 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same. It’s a soft voice but it carries. I can’t understand Selmar most of the time. He really whispers. Even the CC can’t catch what he’s saying because he speaks in a whisper. I had to stop watching his channel because it got so frustrating. I think he needs a super good mic close to his mouth. 😆
@khushis79973 жыл бұрын
I second that ! What a beautiful voice, he has !
@twobluestripes3 жыл бұрын
@@debshaw680 i think a lot of people enjoy Selmar’s soft whispery voice! I have a coworker who sounds similar in real life, and talking with him is really relaxing. But I have noticed that KZbin sounds REALLY different depending on what device I am watching, and also if I put on headphones. I have good hearing but I do watch in areas and times of day where there is some ambient noise, and sometimes I have to fully turn a video off and save it for later, especially if watching on my phone, because I can’t hear it or understand someone!
@billgreen18613 жыл бұрын
Erick, I was just thinking the same thing, next to him I must sound like "Mickey mouse". BTW podcasters have a "specialized" microphone that makes them sound much deeper voice most of their real voices are average sounding. And also I think Selmar, got a new 🎙️ microphone so now he is "heard"😁.

Hi Stephaine: Due to the castrophic failure of your heating system I strongly suspect your have galvanic corrosion going on. Merely replacing the radiators will not solve the problem. Galvanic corrosion maybe caused by a water line being run next to an electrical wire some where in your system. It can also be caused by your system having two different types of metal fitting coming into contact with each other. Check the ph of the water you are using to fill the system. If the water has a high in alkaline or sodium, this maybe the cause. (Do you have a water softner at the chateau? Fill your system with water that has not gone through the water softner as most water softners use sodium) Also check the electrical ground on your water pump to make sure that it has not come loose.

Just watched the episode with the radiator failures. I had a forty year career as a Director of Facility Operations and construction in the states. Mostly hospitals, but also university buildings and one casino? Looking at the close ups of the radiator failures looks like you may be missing the chemical regiment needed to descale the system to keep them from rusting out from the inside. Thus, all of them failing simultaneously. I have experienced this many times in my career. Also, don't fail to include the thermal loss when calculating the replacement radiators. Love your channel , which got my wife and I through the pandemic! We haven't missed an episode yet! Thank you! Good luck with the heating system, they can be tough.

Hi Stephanie, I hope you don’t mind me putting my two pence in regarding your central heating. I seem to remember years ago that if galvanise steel fixings were installed with copper or steel in the system it caused a reaction with the other components hence caused other fixtures like radiators and pipes to corrode and leak. When you and Amury showed the radiator on the vidio it reminded me of this problem. I could be wrong but it might be well to check this out, as it is an old building . Take care Sandy

Not sure about putting radiators in the long windows because surely the curtains will be shut in the bedrooms at night and in the mornings and all you will be doing is sending the heat out the window ( especially as they are not double glazed) as the curtains will block the heat getting into the room ? At least you found the leaks now so you have some time to get it sorted before winter arrives.

Stephanie, Have you ever explored the possibily of "Ground to Air" heatpumps for the apartments within the Chateau? They would be fed by the same ground source as your "boiler" but provide zoned, forced air, heating and cooling, Nick & Marie's, Michael's, Mummy's, Natalia's, Jerry's as well as the Marquis's apartments could all be fitted with individual air handlers feeding off of the "anti-freeze" from the current system (with built-in back-ups) and could then offer heated as well as cooled rental units. This should reduce the drain on the current or any new boiler. Just a thought, but could be a better way ro heat the building as it grows. Just a thouht to explore.
